Exceptional access to the dramatic sounds and sights of First Beach - sea stacks, James Island, and enormous driftwood piles. Warm and welcoming hospitality by the Quileute people. I appreciated- and read - the book about their history and stories placed in our cabin. We stayed in a two bedroom oceanfront cabin, and though nestled close to other cabins on either side, they are staggered in such a way as to afford us privacy and unobstructed views from the porch and expansive front windows. Purchase a beach fire permit for $10 and a firewood bundle will be delivered as you unpack your bags. Well-stocked kitchen, which is wonderful as once you make the long drive out to La Push, you should plan to hunker down for meals and such. It's a long drive to and from Forks. The first time I visited this resort was in 2025 with my husband and my parents. We got a 2 bedroom cabin that was supossed to be ADA-Accessable for my father. He had a lot of issues, and it was a rough trip. Afterwards my mom wrote the resort an email, and as an apology they gifted her a three nights' stay for free. My parents couldn't use it, so they passed it to my husband and I. I really wanted to love this resort. I really, really did. I also wrote the resort an email after my stay. As of today, June 3rd, they have not responded. I will paste it below. All the below being said - view was great. TLDR: if you have allergies to dust and/or mold, do NOT stay here. ---------- Hello, On May 29th - 31st my husband and I stayed at your resort in Room 17. I'm writing to be transparent my experience. My husband and I were excited to be at a resort for a couple days so we could have some quality time together with no responsibilities. We lead busy lives with our own business and had been looking forward to this for weeks. While there were many rules for your protected land to be respected, we did not feel that the space waiting for us was respected, or even cleaned, for our arrival. I've listed the issues we found below. 1. The jacuzzi jets left a disgusting orange film on the wall of the tub that I didn't notice until I was sitting inside of it. It looked like someone's self tanner had been inside of the jets and came out with the water. We had to fill the tub up and leave the jets on for a long time before this stopped happening. I took a photo after filing it up a second time, but the first time was much worse. 2. The window blind facing the water from the Jacuzzi tub was broken. So even after we cleaned out the tub and tried to use it, the blinds will not open, so we couldn't enjoy the view from it, which is the whole point of these apartments. 2. The fireplace did not work. I walked up to the office after trying to fix it for an hour. They told me that we should've been notified that all of the fireplaces have turned off because they are in transition mode. I had not been notified. The fireplace was one of the reasons I had chosen this room, so this was very disheartening to hear. 3. The heaters are FULL of dust. I am severely allergic to dust. As soon as I turned them on, I had a terrible allergy attack that lasted for hours even though I turned them off within 10 minutes. This kind of heater needs to be cleaned every season. Evenings were chilly with no fireplace and dirty heater. 4. The bedroom window had black mold on the bottom. I'm severely allergic to mold. We had to keep the bedroom window closed, and I struggled with a hives reaction the entire time we were there. 5. The lamp above the dining room table was full of dust. I could not sit at the dining room table without having an allergic reaction all over again, and I couldn't reach it to clean it. 6. Lastly, when I bought a fire permit at the front desk, they did not tell me we could also buy wood there. We drove all around in town to try to find houses that didn't just take cash (they were out), asked the gas station (they didn't sell it anymore?), and then finally went back to aske the desk, where they finally told me they sold wood. It did not include fire starter, a lighter, or matches. It was disheartening to stay here for quality time and to get away from my constant allergies, just to have severe allergies anyway, because the apartment was not cleaned for our arrival. My husband also suffered from a panic attack because within the time we had plans to not have responsibilities, he felt like he had to fix everything in the apartment before we could settle. We loved this place! Came here for our anniversary. Everyone was friendly. It was quiet, we were there in November but it was exceptionally nice weather. This is a great place for storm watching though. Great view of the ocean. There are no tv's and there's no internet. We had a little kitchenette in our room so we could cook while we stayed. Ozette Lake is really close and had a boardwalk trail out to the beach. Realto Beach is also nearby and a beautiful beach. It is a bit of a drive up there but worth it! read more

I spent $256 for a night in a cabin with 2 things - a fireplace and a bathtub with a view. I got neither. The cabin had a broken fireplace so they put me in a different cabin. They said it was the same style and it was not. The bathtub was smaller, did not have view, and the water took 30 minutes to fill the tub. The water barely came out of the faucet and by the time it was full enough to use the jets the water was lukewarm. The cabin was freezing. With the fireplace running I finally got the living room to 60, but it can't run all night so the rooms were freezing. Stay somewhere else and drive to the beach because the venue is not worth it. If you really want to get away from it all in the off season this is the place! Off the beaten path, but close to many popular beaches, Olympic national park, and the tree of life. Cozy bed, kitchenette, and awesome views of the ocean and James island. Some much needed vitamin sea refreshment. No tv, maybe, maybe not cell service, perfect to get away from it all. 75 yards from the surf, and yes!! There were surfers out! Close enough to hear the waves crashing, especially on a few stormy nights. Driftwood all over. Rialto beach just north, Ruby Beach and the tree of life just south, with it all a beautiful drive through the moss and fern filled forests. Some cute 'Twilight' movies features. Staff was very helpful and there's a coffee shop right there. Rooms also have good coffee and tea selection. A great and peaceful place to chill and fill up on your vitamin sea. Looking forward to my next visit. Just watch for werewolves! read more

I am confused though as it's gotten so expensive and they've removed all the deals they used to have. $900 for two nights in the rustic, cold water A-Frame in June? Location, location, location! I think that was probably the saving grace of staying here. We stayed for two nights in an apartment-style unit not far from the main office, on the first floor. There was a comfortable king bed but the rest of the furnishings were very dated/dingy including stained towels. The faucet in the bathroom was damaged. We never saw the sun so not sure how worthwhile it was to stay at the beach. Maybe it was just the time of year that we visited? I see others' photos are beautiful. Because we were on the first floor we couldn't see the water very well. It was nice to be able to walk down to the beach and sit, also be out on the balcony and hear the waves crashing, but it was quite cold even in late July. The only restaurant on the premises is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday which happened to be the days we were there. There is a coffee shack onsite which was okay. None of the breakfast sandwiches were fresh, just the frozen kind you heat up in the microwave. We knew there was WiFi only at the office and near the fire pits in front of the coffee shop. I have Verizon and had 2-3 bars. My bf has AT&T and was on SOS the entire time. There was also no TV which was fine because we had downloaded content in advance. It was a convenient place to stay in proximity to the Hole in the Wall and probably better than anything we would have found in Forks, but still didn't think this was worth the exorbitant amount of money they charged, especially with no daily housekeeping or any other amenities. read more

Family recently stayed here in cabin 36, 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom. We have stayed before and have had good experiences but unfortunately this time had some drawbacks. 1. They increased the pricing dramatically. 2. The cabin we stayed in had a deck with a sagging area that we were concerned to stand on. 3. Pieces of the exterior were rotted away revealing the weather proofing material underneath. 4. Cobwebs everywhere: it was like they don't dust/clear cobwebs. 5. Our toilet water ran the entire stay with no-one coming to fix. 6. The fan in our bathroom also did not work. 7. The window to one of our rooms was broken and would not fully close. 8. Almost all windows had missing screens which made us either leave the windows closed or had to accept bugs entering in the rooms. Due to the resort feeling they are worthy of such dramatic increases in pricing, these issues should not be present. The resort is close to the beach, has a gas station with a mini grocery store for basic needs. read more

I spoke to Jerry and he went above and beyond to make my fiancé feel so special on his birthday - there was a personalized cake, beautiful bouquet of flowers, and a personalized picture! This campsite is unbelievable. We stayed in RV 3, which was great. We had a straight trial to the beach. It was perfect. We didn't want to be in the middle of the row. The only other one I would have chosen is number 13 which was more remote but still by bathrooms and laundry. This camp in on a practically perfect and private beach! The sand is amazing. This is a once in a lifetime stay, amazing location. We saw starfish and had amazing walks on the beach. We stayed on the first floor oceanfront suite. Couldn't see the ocean too well from the suite especially when the fog took over. Very cute room but thin walls, could hear the neighbor sneeze, for reference. Imagine having a perfect view from your RV of the sunrise, sunset, and First Beach at La Push, and walking only steps away to enjoy it! Quileute Oceanside RV park was the perfect weekend get-a-way for us, and the views were magnificent! There is no cell reception or wi-fi for internet, but its meant to be a place to relax and slow down for a couple of days. There are several clean restrooms with free showers, as well as laundry facilities available to you, in case you want to visit for more than a weekend. There is also a small mini mart and a coffee stand in the park for a treat. If you need supplies-Forks is a 20 minute drive away. Remember that you are a guest on tribal land, so be respectful. The details-we had to book about 6 months in advance, as it fills up fast (there were no free spots and as soon as someone left, another camper took its place). The spaces are roomy-we fit a 36' 5th wheel with a large tow vehicle no problem! The price is good-$55/night. Dogs are welcome, but the local dogs run free so be aware of your surroundings when walking the pups! We would definitely go back! read more

To start with I want to state that I was profoundly baffled after arriving at this so-called resort and then I contemplated for sometime whether to write this review. I frequently write reviews for restaurants, not for hotels! my experience at this "resort" required me to write a review!!To preface my comments/reviews I will state that when i make reservations at hotels i generally know what I'm getting, I will research through a variety of website websites. I do travel a lot throughout the year (2months)and I stay at some middle to very high-end hotels and I have no problems spending lots of money for a nice hotel/service. I did stay at this, " resort" for one night over the Labor Day weekend and that may have affected the price but for one night I paid $950. For anyone not familiar with the area it is the Ocean side of Olympic national Park. There are not many hotels. Due to the cost, my assumption was it was at least a halfway decent hotel. There was a couple reviews that stated you were paying for the location. I've stayed at many nice locations with incredible views and have never been essentially appalled with a hotel/ resort Reflecting back on some of the reviews, I question if these were real reviews because my expectations would be at least this place was somewhat nice. Only Positive of the resort is that the floors were clean. I'm assuming the bedsheets and comforter were clean but many of the bedsheets towels I could tell were very old. the hotel room itself was very dated1980's maybe. I paid for a oceanfront room. I had a room on the first floor very far into the left corner with a very obstructed view due to the natural barrier of the ocean sand, etc.. The walls were paper thin I could hear everything my neighbor said. In the middle of the night I heard the toilet upstairs flushx2 and everything else like it was in my own room. At 5:50 AM on the next morning I could hear my upstairs neighbors wake up and clunk around for 20 minutes at which time I woke up and decided to just leave!! If your goal is to see the ocean views at Olympic national Park, I recommend that you stayed at another place. (I would equate this place to a hotel 96) which I haven't stayed at for ages/when I 18 years old and couldn't afford anything. UnFortunately, I did not take pictures if i could I would provide you with the auditory from the paper, thin walls and floors ceilings. As far as what can improve just about everything-- the hotel needs a overhaul if it's going to charge patron that amount. I guess there's no zero over five or this resort would get that !! read more

This was a bittersweet weekend for us. We have been going to Quileute Oceanside Resort several times a year for years as it was our favorite spot. We always book a year in advance and choose our favorite sites. When we arrived on 8/29 for the holiday weekend, we went straight to our reserved space, only to find a unit in it. We drove to the office to get it sorted out. Once we got there, we were told that we had been moved... to a site that our 40ft RV does NOT fit in! In fact, the spot was in an entire row that the resort themselves has told us for years is not accessible for our unit! When we showed them our confirmation letter with our reserved site number noted, we were told that they would no longer allow people to reserve certain sites and instead would be putting people where they fit when they arrive... Again, we will not FIT in the site your system switched us to! After wasting 45 minutes, they finally got us in a site that we fit in. While we were in the office, two other campers were in there that had called to confirm they were in sites that were next to each other only to get there and be told that they weren't even in the same campgrounds within the resort! We already have reservations for next Memorial Day weekend with a group of about 6 RV's. We asked if we were still going to be put in spots next to one another, "no". We were told that this was the new policy and of we didn't like it, that was tough. Of course it wasn't long after we got to our site before someone pulled up and asked why we were in their site. We explained to them what happened and that they too would have to go to the office to find out where their new site was. They too were camping with a group that had all arranged to be together and weren't. He also wound up being put on the other side of the resort in the other campground, nowhere near his friends. He was also told this was the new policy and they didn't care if he liked it or not. He and his group will be camping elsewhere for their annual trip next year. Hopefully, Quileute will see what a huge mistake this policy change is and revert back to guaranteed sites. If not, we will certainly miss this magical place. read more

I've stayed at this hotel for the last 6 years and never any problems. When we arrived we were not told, in person, that we could not use the deck. Went to the room and saw the caution tape across the sliding door. Looked at the papers given at checkin, and it said the deck, best part of the room, was off limits as they were doing construction. The letter was dated in May! Please give a heads up. Also....a little deep cleaning around toilet would be great! You all have been great in the past but have not wanted to rebook, for the first time in 6 years, at all. read more

Our standard two bedroom cabin (43) was large & clean. The view was outstanding. The staff were so friendly & helpful. My daughter, granddaughter & I had a wonderful time. Beaches, Tree Of Life, Hoh Rainforest. So much to see! Already planning our trip for next summer! Granddaughter was sure she had to have all of her electronics (there's no WiFi, cell service at the cabins. Can get WiFi up by the office) but she really didn't miss them! My most favorite place to go to unwind and be away from reality for a little bit.. this time we got a little bit bigger unit.. had bigger windows for a better view.. you can't beat the sound of the waves.. no wifi so bring your own if you need it.. we also always bring our own food to cook cause there isn't any restaurants close by.. just a drive through coffee shop and a small convenience store to get snacks and drinks.. no hard alcohol.. take a nice walk on the beach.. water is usually cold.. beach 1,2,3.. are close by for some hikes. First, understand this is for the RV Resort, not the hotel. If you are used to common amenities, like internet, cable, or even cell service, this is not the place to stay. If you want well maintained grounds, fences without hanging boards, or picnic tables without flaking paint, this is not the place to stay. If you appreciate clean restrooms and showers not covered with a layer of sand on the floor, look elsewhere. Finally, if you are coming for the view, please note there is zero "view" unless you are in the "front" row of RVs nearest the water. Otherwise, your view is entirely of really large RVs parked side-by-side and a noisy roadway just yards away from your campsite. We reserved for 5 days and stayed for two. And there are no refunds. So if you are in a very large, fully self contained RV with a satellite and can get a spot in the front row, this might suit you. Otherwise, I recommend looking elsewhere. read more

What seems like a great camp spot is actually a lack of maintenance on tribal ground. We reserved a RV spot only to find the water was broken in spot 65. Trash litters the grounds and it just seems they have a one track mine if racking in cash and not rewarding the land for the money they are making. read more

After a long day of hiking and dozing off around 9:30 pm there is absolutely no way it wouldn't scare the heck out of a kid, a dog or ANYONE to hear the LOUD booming of firecrackers on the beach. I'm not sure if I want them to ban fireworks or just put up a sign or have a warning when you book... SOMETHING. Both nights we were exhausted after long days of hiking and it was just too jarring to be woken up by the fireworks. Also, there was a special multi-tribal paddling event happening (kind of awesome) so that may have made the fireworks more plentiful. ALL THAT BEING SAID.... ...this place is amazing and everyone should come here. I can't wait to go in the winter for storm watching. We stayed in the fancy shmancy expensive luxury cabin #24 and I would 100% recommend it. It would be a good place for a honeymoon, if you don't mind cooking on your honeymoon. Jet tub, indoor propane fireplace, full kitchen, dishwasher, ocean sounds. Depending on the type of room you rent, this can be a pretty fancy shmancy romancey place. read more

I just got back from driving 4 extra hours out of my way because there was a mistake made with my room reservation. They told me I booked a cabin without a shower and my confirmation didn't match what they gave me. When I asked they acted confused and the guy that said he was the manager told me and I quote "I can give you a refund but I won't." I was trying to have a weekend with just me and my daughter after my divorce and every hotel was booked I had to drive back to Seattle and I lost money. Frankly the whole staff was rude and seemed bothered by us even before I discovered it was the wrong room. This doesn't seem right to me. read more

This place was just what was needed. No cell service, no internet, no television, no landline in the room... Just the two of us, enjoying one another's company, the views, the wildlife, and being in the moment. It was a breath of fresh air to unplug so intentionally. Our room was equipped with everything we could have needed: full kitchenette with an oven and stove, fridge, pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils, tea pot, juice carafe, and coffee maker. We made a few delicious meals for ourselves before cleaning up (they even provide dish soap and drying station). There are screens on the sliding door to the ocean, which is great! You can listen to the soothing waves as you drift off to sleep, and enjoy the breeze while watching seagulls play during the day. We'll be back! read more

I had the opportunity to stay at Quileute resort in 2 of their beachfront cabins. I stayed in cabin 15 (handicap accessible) and then in cabin 17 for the remainder of my trip. I was there from 3/29 - 4/3. This place is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. We arrived very late, after 11pm and were greeted with security at the main office. They checked our ID's, gave us our room keys/parking pass, and showed us to the cabins. We had to do a formal check-in the next morning. It is very useful to be allowed a late check-in especially when the Seattle airport is hours away. The front office is small and had some reasonably priced cool gift items (i.e. Rainboots, T-shirts, Sweatshirts, Magnets, Bags, Books, Jewelry etc.). Don't forget to support them with a purchase. The staff was very friendly and they didn't judge me when I grabbed a handful of sweet mints :).   There are no WiFi, TV, or phones in the cabins. The only cell phone service available is Verizon and I just used my hotspot to download some books and movies for my flight. The intention is to unplug and unwind. They make the atmosphere very conducive to just that by offering a gas fireplace with timer, jetted Jacuzzi tub, separate spacious shower, comfortable seating (couch and recliner) indoors, and 2 adirondack-like seats outside. The cabins are staggered so although you are still next to cabins, it does not feel like you are right on top of each other. It manages to still give the feeling of privacy. Both of my cabins had king size beds. Cabin 17 also had a built-in wall heater that came in handy at night. I love that everything has a timer because it prevents any real danger of a fire. You also have a full kitchen with essentials (i.e. Toaster, dishes, utensils, a few pots) for the week. Housekeeping does not bug you by coming daily but you can reach them if you need towels or anything. I happen to like this because it makes it feel like I am actually living in an oceanfront cabin (one can dream). The paved walkways are only for handicap units so be aware of that when considering bringing a heavy suitcase....otherwise you'll be dragging it up a small hill over gravel. Each cabin comes with a flashlight so you can explore at night if you want or visit a friend in another cabin. I do recommend it because it can get dark. The driftwood on the beach was beautiful. One other thing to note, right next to cabin 14 is an area where folks can park their RV campers. They were not loud but my friend was concerned that there may not have been a lot of privacy on that side of the cabin.   Locally, you have to drive a bit to get to Forks for food and grocery. There were a number of other beaches nearby though Rialto, Ruby, and first/second/third beach. So you have many options of things to do. We went to the local beaches, Hall of Mosses, Cape Flattery, the Duncan Cedar etc. This is not a place where you get delivery, so I recommend grabbing food on the way home one of your adventures that you can do here. Or you can be healthy and cook. This would be a great vacation for Couples or introverts who just want to unplug in a cabin. Enjoy~ read more
