When at the store, I could not find the product and asked an associate for help. The associate was in a completely different department and very busy. However, he stopped, directed me to where the product SHOULD be. Not finding it, he took the time to go to the back storage, again, coming back empty handed. Before I knew it, he had accessed a ladder....went down various aisles, looking in boxes stored high up and labeled with only SKU codes. Still nothing. At this point, I politely let him off the hook by thanking him; but he persisted. After at LEAST 15 mins of dogged searching, the product was found! The associate at the Willow Lawn was named RICK. He very well could have been the manager? I have NEVER EVER seen such dedication to customer care and wanted to take the time to give this review in hopes that someone at that location shares this with him.

Please read all reviews before doing business with, or even worse leaving your possessions with them. On December 10, I left 4 suede chair cushions at their shop in Darien in order to have an extra slipcover made for each cushion in a different fabric-which I purchased that day at their good goods store. I was quoted $60 per cushion for labor, with a completion date prior to January 3. The woman then said that if I want the work done-they actually had to charge me DOUBLE the quote-$120 per cushion for labor. I agreed only because she guaranteed the return prior to Jan 3. Fast forward today is January 16. My cushions are nowhere. I've heard multiple excuses, from a "broken delivery truck", to "they will be here next week". I was then assured that they would ship them to my alternate address. The inept store manager will not respond to any further correspondence or provide any shipping or tracking information despite her multiple promises to ship my cushions. This is a shady company to say the least. I'm not the first client to report missing merchandise recently under the watch of the "new and improved" staff. Customer service by the owner ARTI MEHTA and her entire staff is NONEXISTENT.

My one complaint would be that we were such a large group (we had 2 groups back to back) and I was in the 2nd group- you could tell the staff got tired (very understandable since they had to make 20+ pumpkins) and they didn't do a great job explaining the process ahead of time. On the upside, they were great about talking you through it in the moment. It was pretty dummy proof since the staff did most of the process for you, I don't think I can say I actually did "glass blowing" which I think is fine. Overall, would recommend this for events (but maybe smaller groups) and the staff is really skilled. They have a shop up front which I would recommend checking out!

We got the spicy skewers which really packed a punch of heat, a little bit too much for our personal comfort. My favorite was the shrimp because it was so snappy. The beef and lamb was tender but did not blow us out of the water. The pork belly had a nice snap from the collagen and fatty parts. The Ferrero Rocher milkshake was so delectable. The service was quick, consistency was not too liquid and not too firm that we couldn't drink it with a straw. Overall a solid milkshake. The sticky mango rice had perfectly ripe mangos but the sticky rice wasn't that fragrant, super creamy though. The original takoyaki were on the larger side but most of the takoyaki was just batter/ not much filling and seafood inside. Though we got it when all the booths were about to close so for $5 for 6 pieces we couldn't really complain. The spicy mayo karaage was a little tough but some pieces were so well crisped and the slight kick from the spicy mayo helped counteract the heaviness of a fried food item. Loved the pork belly skewers from the Filipino food stand, it was very umami and marinated. the lumpia was also not too oily and so crispy. Though the pancit was kind of bland and seemed more to just act as a bedding for the other food items on top of it. They give you sweet and sour sauce as well a vinegar sauce which we ended up pouring onto the pancit for more flavor. The night market also had fair games. Most of them were $10 to play. Toilets were also relatively clean and felt comfortable enough to use for cleaning up after eating all the food.

Considering that there are only two other yarn stores in the greater Richmond area, it's nice to know that there's something for everyone if you're in Richmond proper. You may also find a range of customer service. The first time I went in, I felt very welcomed by the staff members and they answered all of my questions. I was happy to make my purchase. This is what prompted me to return. The second time I went in, the staff member at the register was chatting with an exiting customer about the election. I don't mind a political disagreement or difference but I do mind vindictive racially charged whispers. If your hand is over your mouth as you gleefully lean into your inner mean girl, a part of you knows that what you said isn't entirely classy. Your candidate winning does not excuse bad manners or a lack of decorum. However, it's low form to wish the losing candidate ill, and to hope that they go back to the hole they crawled out of. Wow. It just goes to show that age is not associated with class. Folks are entitled to their opinions, but if you're a staff member hoping to make a sale, it's probably best to keep that under wraps or at least away from your workplace. Not classy, not demure, not mindful at all, and definitely not the kind of behavior that would make America great ... at any point. Note: I do not believe that this staff member reflects the entirety of the others. I do think that, had it not been the day after the election, this person may have been less likely to be less mindful of others in the store. That said, big moments in history do reveal our true character, and I hope this staff member takes the time to be more empathetic and aware of their surroundings the next time they are at their workplace.

I needed quite a bit of yarn for my project, so while I am in love with some of the locally dyed yarn selection, I did buy a commercial brand. It is gorgeous and perfect for the cardigan I want to make. Staff was so helpful; spent time with me helping to pick the yarn out and match the colors. I got a great project bag with sheep. She was super knowledgeable about the sources of all the items which was really nice to hear about . I loved the name and had to really stop myself from "stuff"-ing my basket with everything.
