And the batiks....sooooooo gorgeous and so many choices!! Finally and probably most importantly: the owner (I assume she was the owner) was so kind. It was the end of the day and they were scheduled to close five minutes before I came in, and I apologized for coming in so close to closing and then being drawn and distracted by the huge array of fabrics on offer. They said it was no issue at all, and I got signed up for their newsletter. I'm already now looking into what they offer for sewing classes because I have some projects I'm working on related to bookbinding and it would help me to learn/re-learn how to sew.
