I'm already now looking into what they offer for sewing classes because I have some projects I'm working on related to bookbinding and it would help me to learn/re-learn how to sew. Obviously you can get a better deal at Joann's when you have coupons or they have a good sale going on but I like to support the little guys when I can. I also was pushed into asking about sergers by Dave who sometimes doesn't understand how stressful new places are and how exhausting socialization can be when you're an introvert. So I got a very long but informative look at the sergers they have to offer. I'm not sure that I'll be able to budget myself for their machines but I was impressed by how nice everyone was. I was also given a peek into the fall class offerings. I'll likely take a few of the weekend classes once winter comes and my weekends aren't so busy.

I will start off by saying that this is definitely not my favorite store. I needed an item only…read moresold at Lowes, so I sucked it up and went there. Definitely a mistake. I needed assistance with this 90lb item. Waited in line for 10 minutes for the worker. He made a page for customer assistance. After 10 more minutes, noone showed up. I managed to go find a flat cart and load it myself (lawnmower). Mind you, this particular one was very expensive and yet noone to help. I went on a Tuesday around noon, not terribly busy. Nevertheless, customer service just isn't top notch at this particular location. Or might just be a Tuesday thing.

I've always been pleased with the paint and individuals working that station. My only reason for the four stars was their delivery process. They call the night before and give you a four hour time frame. Home Depot calls a half hour before which is great. Lowe's called and told me they were ten minutes away and more than hour before the earliest time they gave me so I had to hustle to get there for the delivery. Overall really pleased with this Lowe's location!
