I took a king size Restoration Hardware linen & wool blanket in for dry cleaning. The tag says Dry Clean Only. When I got it back I excitedly unfurled it on my bed to reveal a queen size (at best) blanket. It shrunk tremendously, and no longer fit the bed it was purchased to fit 5 years ago. I think I got a $100 refund, but the item which I really liked is no longer usable. On the other hands, perhaps this is a sign it's time to downsize to a queen bed and then it would work just fine. A couple of years later (2024), I bring in 2 long sleeve shirts purchased in Chicago which have never fit very well due to the sleeves being too long. I asked for the sleeves to be shortened by 1", hoping to be able to wear them this spring & early summer. It took over a month for them to hem them, not a big deal, I can wait. Finally, when I am told they are ready they apparently have lost them or misplaced them. They simply cannot find them at all. I was refunded some money to cover the cost, but again, the items are something I actually wanted to enjoy and use, and I cannot find that style as they were purchased 6-7 years ago from a small retail shop. They seem to be able to dry clean and launder basic clothing okay. But any request that is unusual, or perhaps requires specific instructions, I've just had 2 rather large disappointments. read more

They said it would take 2 weeks for alterations. Ok, that's fine. It was a simple ripped seam. I come back a day past the due date and it's not done. Ok, fine, they said it would be done the following day. I come back two days later and it's not done. And, of course, no apology nor an offer the right the wrong. Left my coat to be dry cleaned and pressed. I came to pick it up, and it looked dirty. I removed the plastic wrap, and asked the clerk, " how did you dry clean this?"...No response, just a confused look on the clerks face. I took the sleeve and began to roll it up, when suddenly a few pieces of paper tumbled out the sleeve. It cost 20.00, what a RIPOFF!! I brought it home and cleaned it...it had NOT BEEN CLEANED!! ...Now about 8 years ago, my black coat was brought to them...they did not clean it, it was ragged, wrinkled and still had the outdoir smell...I threw the coat out. I stayed bring my dry cleaning here because they are extra friendly, have next day turn around for no extra charge and their prices are super affordable and they have a drive thru window. Completely disappointed in the service I received. The owner has no honor system. With the interaction I had with him you can tell he doesn't care for the customer only the bottom dollar. I was told my wedding dress would be available almost two weeks before the big day. (The 12.) Called the 14th to do a quick check and to find a good time to stop by and get it. Turns out the lady working the counter put "need by" the 26th. Kinda pointless for a 23rd wedding. (I verified the wedding date three times before leaving it back in August.) So they thought they had extra time for homecoming dresses. Said it would be ready by the 21st. (Cutting it close but fine) called before going in this time again said it was ready for pick up after two. Walked in at 3 the new guy working the counter couldn't find it asked me to come back at 4. (So I did) Walked in at 430 different lady found the dress but said it still needed pressed. Told me to come back in the morning. ( the day before the wedding. Who has time the day before a out of town wedding to pick up a dress that was supposed to be done almost two weeks before?) When I called the owner to see what he was going to do about his company's mistakes (yes I was asking for money off. It's not something I do often. Even a dollar off would have made me feel like they at least cared) his response "I don't believe in that sorta thing." If you have great service here that's awesome. But god help you if they ever mess up. (Because the owner doesn't believe in consequences.) The only reason it gets stars at all is because I was able to walk down the aisle in my dress. (By the way it was a tad loose) But this repeat customer has seen the light. Extremely disappointed! read more

well.... I would definitely say please don't go unless you are looking for disappointment. The staff is not very welcoming and the service is not commensurate with the high price at all. They did not dry clean your clothes with caution and did not take responsibility for the damage for the coat. Instead, they blame that your coat is cheap. It's hard not to use this dry cleaner as they have a very convenient drive-through service, they provide a "quick" service if you sign up and give them all the pertinent information, i.e., credit card number, etc., they have a fast turnaround and have great hours - big pluses. The ladies at the window are very friendly, from my experience. Here's the thing. Last week, they lost the second sweater. I just wrote off the first sweater. Okay, whatever, maybe it was my fault, perhaps I lost it. (I didn't.) Anyway, I went and bought a new one. Well, now, they have lost a second sweater. (Why sweaters?) So I had to make a point of it this time. I pretty much got a blank stare, ummmmmm, nothing, we don't have it, it's all you. The most reaction I got was the feeling that I had three heads or something, don't know what you're talking about kind of thing, I got nuthin' for ya. It's disappointing. There was no care about it or here's what we do when there's a problem, nothing nada. I'm online now to see if I can't find another dry cleaners, which I hate doing, but.......... read more
