I had the masseuse, Arlyn. I would recommend him to everyone, including my friends. Allen is…read moreattentive to your needs and really puts in effort in the 30 minutes or an hour that you pay for. Price is $70/hr, and he will ask for what your needs/goals are. Allen noted that I had a lot of tightness and massaged them out for me. He went in HARD, the pressure was insane. Not painful, but it definitely helped me with me knots. Afterwards I felt really refreshed. I would come back again, fosho

I can't speak for my fiance but he walked out feeling the benefits of the sports massage. (IMO: My fiance lifts weight 4x/wk so he definitely needed someone with strength working on him!) My prenatal massage may not have been the routine prenatal massage you'd get at any posh place that would smell like lavender and offer you a foot soak with rose pedals before you come in. I am a hygienist that has been working a desk job and 16 weeks pregnant. So walking in I told them I am uncomfortable in certain places and reported that I clench my teeth and do get numb in my right shoulder. I asked ARLYN for an areas-specific message and he addressed it and is super effective at finding and relieving knots. I read in other reviews (Yelp and groupon) not to come here expecting a typical "massage." Which they were spot on. But that's ok. If you are like me and experience aches and tightness in places no other massages were able to get out.... come here to get fixed!

One of the better spots in Quincy for deep tissue work. I had neck pain and my wife had back pain…read moreso we were in desperate need of someone to work out the knots. Joe was able to give us the relief that we were seeking though I was sore afterwards and the next day. It's going to be tough and painful but it works. Definitely don't come here if you are looking for a soothing, relaxing Swedish massage. It's called therapy for a reason. Joe is very friendly and approachable and took all the necessary COVID precautions to make you feel comfortable. This is a no-frills, small operations so set your expectations accordingly. Scheduling is done via email instead of the website. Joe was quick to respond, and we were able to figure out a time via text and email. He does take credit cards but it's quicker to transact in cash if you can.

I like deep massages. Not the relaxation kind. Especially not the someone's-just-touching-my-back…read morekind. I mean deep, intense massages that work your muscles and make you sore the next day. This is really hard to find. Most massages just aren't that satisfying, and until I met Joe, the only massage therapist I really liked was in St. Maarten. Not exactly convenient for this Brookline girl. I met Joe by chance two years ago when he provided chair massages at work for a group of us working on a big project (same company as Freya H, who reviewed Joe previously). I do not like chair massages. I think they're completely unsatisfying--no benefit to my muscles and just a waste of time. But after three people independently told me how incredible Joe was for their chair massage, I signed up for a spot. And WOW. I wouldn't describe it as a chair massage but more like a massage that happens to be on a chair rather than a table. I was grunting like Claire Dunphy in the massage chair at the mall. Joe came weekly for several months while the project continued, and I never missed an opportunity to have him work the stress and tension from my muscles. After the chair massages in the office ended, I started making the journey to Quincy to see Joe. Totally worth it. He's my guy. Awesome massages and just an overall nice, affable person.
