The massage itself was fine, but the experience was completely ruined by the aggressive tipping demands at the end. The advertised price seemed reasonable, but after paying, I was pressured into tipping 30%. I initially tipped 18%, giving $20 and politely asking for $5 back, but the staff member refused to return my money and insisted that I tip more, saying that's "not how you're supposed to tip." She kept the $5 and then told me that next time I must tip 30%. I found this behavior incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable. A tip should be at the customer's discretion, not forced. This place cured my pain! I am in SHOCK! Okay where to begin. Made a same day appointment for two massages for $130 on card or $120 in cash. And oh my oh my these ladies know what they are doing! There is a form that you fill out when you get there that you can use to explain areas of pain or areas that you would want to be focused on. I've been having what I thought was very bad plantar fasciitis foot pain in my left heel and foot, and for months and months I've been buying shoe insoles to help, trying stenches and braces and have not found relief. I circled my foot and leg as an area I wanted to be focused on since I knew it needed some TLC, and this woman Rachel, started massaging my leg for maybe 10 mins before she says, "it's not your foot, it's your knee, we are going to work this out" and while it was painful, it hurt so good! She got all into my back of my leg and calf and went in on the back of my knee, and after about 30 mins in I felt this sudden relief in my foot! It was truly a miracle. I only had booked an hour and they were booked for the rest of the day or else I would have extended my massage for two hours because it's like Rachel found all the pain I've ever carried in my body and started releasing and fixing it. She definitely knew what she was doing! My friend had a woman named Molly, or maybe it was Holly. All I know is she said she had a similar experience! These are professionals reflexologist and whatever training or schooling they did to do this was no waste! I love that it wasn't like a routine massage and that they customized the massage to areas I really needed help with. I'm so glad this place is down the street from me. I will 1000% be back! This place is clean and well kept and Rachel and Holly were the best! Commutation during this type of massage is crucial and they were so kind and understanding and genuinely wanted to help! I would like to say a simple "this is one of the best Massage therapy shops I've ever been to" but to say just that would not do this place justice. First.... this place has a level of professionalism that I have only ever seen in a select few shops around the world. I have had at least over 6 sessions here and one couple massage with my girlfriend and every single time Patty and Tina would always find my problem spots and target those troubled areas. I can't think of a single time that I did not feel rejuvenated by the end of my session. Second... From the moment you walk in to when you walk out you feel welcome and taken care of everyone that works there has a warm and caring vibe and the shop it self feels very comfortable. The shop is clean and well maintained you can tell that they put themselves into there work and there shop and take pride in both. Third....Now this place is always busy and they book up pretty quick. Me and my girlfriend were in Boston visiting some friends for a few months and while we were in our travels we came across this place I was lucky enough to get a booking for the same day and after that I booked ahead for a couples a few days later. I have seen many physical therapists and chiropractors to help me with chronic shoulder pain but nothing helped. I was having terrible Neck & Back pain so I decided to stop in and try Siam. I only got a 30 min massage by pat and when she was done, I was pain free and could turn my neck fully. This was my 2nd visit. 1st time was with Nanar and the 2nd time with Sopa. They were both professional and provided great massages. Depending on how I feel I will ask for different intensities. Nanar gave me really great stretches during the session which was a massage and when I had Sopa, I just needed a very soothing massage. Her voice alone is soothing. I go here every single week for two hour massage. I see Gena mainly and if she's not available I see Katie. I am an athlete and train daily so I have a good amount of muscle tightness. Sometimes my back is so tight I can barely walk which has put significant strain on my training. By going here and seeing these women every single week my body has never felt better. They use their entire body and every muscle they have to make my body feel good. What they do is unbelievable not only the massage but the stretching and how they know where the pressure points are and their understanding of the body is simply amazing. I recommend this location for anybody who is looking for a massage to work your muscles. It's not a relaxing massage and it does hurt... It's that good hurt when you have muscle pain. But I walk out of there feeling 1 million times better. I'm just a sidenote make sure you tip these women well they literally use their entire bodies to fix yours. read more
