He's is passionate about what he does and invest into his profession by having new high end equipment!!! He is extremely nice and patient with his people!! I was running 4 mins behind due to traffic and they went ahead and brought in the appointment behind me since they were already there and waiting. Not ideal for me of course but great if the shoe had been on the other foot. It's a pretty cozy space so I waited for the appointment to wrap up by admiring the small town views and a few new pair of glasses. Dr. Nguyen was a pleasure. She was knowledgeable and made sure that I had just as much of an understanding of what was going on with my eyes. I didn't feel rushed at all going through my exam and she gave me thoughtful suggestions on my next steps to ensure that my eye health was being prioritized. I also appreciated that Dr. Nguyen sanitized the equipment before having me use each machine. At the front desk for check out, the woman who helped me there was also really patient as I scrambled to find my HSA card to pay. It started pouring down raining and she was even kind enough to walk me through the back door to my car so I wouldn't get as wet. We've always had great experiences so I was nervous to try a new place this year, but this place is top notch! Dr. Tran was so kind and patient with my eager worm to do all. the. things. Other doctors may have been annoyed or lost his cool - but not Dr. Tran. We talked about the now and the future of what corrective eye care looks like. He explains issues in a way you can understand. The front desk staff was also kind and helpful. When I called to make the appointment, they took our prior records for billing codes and had the referrals from our PCP ready to go when we got there! I didn't have to call our PCP or deal with the hassle. Thank you! I forgot the wonderful older lady's name, but she sat and helped us choose some Nano frames (which is overwhelming itself) even when my kid was loosing his patience for sizing and not understanding that we could not take our new frames home right then. She was so calm and reassuring in those moments. Sometimes as a parent, you just need the reassurance your kid is doing just fine. They have a great gaming area set up for kids to entertain themselves while you wait. I wish we needed to come here more than once a year.

My mom ordered a pair of glasses on June 1 and was told they would be ready in 1-2 weeks. After more than two weeks passed with no update, she called on June 23 to ask when she could pick up her glasses. She was told they would be ready on June 24 and that she would receive a call or text when they were available. June 24 came and went, but no one ever contacted her. After another week passed with no communication, she called again on July 1 to ask about the status of her glasses and requested to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor explained that there had been an issue with the machine that cuts the lenses, which was the reason for the delay. This was the first time anyone had mentioned there was a problem, despite the office previously saying the glasses would be ready and that they would keep her updated. She was then told that the lenses had just been cut that day and that the glasses would be ready for pickup later on July 1 after she got off work. The lack of updates and conflicting information throughout the process was very frustrating. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. When she got home and was simply cleaning the glasses, one of the lenses popped out with almost no pressure. This should not have happened with a brand-new pair of glasses. She returned on July 6 to have them fixed, but the front desk employee never apologized for the inconvenience or showed any empathy. Instead, she simply took the glasses and offered my mom a different pair to wear temporarily, even though my mom just wanted the glasses she paid for to be fixed. She left empty-handed, and now we're still waiting after more than a month from when the glasses were originally ordered. The repeated delays, lack of communication, poor quality control, and disappointing customer service made this a very frustrating experience.

I bring my son here for his contact lenses so I'm familiar with Dr. Hill and his practice. Due to several eye surgeries, I'm now left with a very unusual prescription. I walked into Today's Vision and asked if they could fill my prescription. The girls behind the counter noted right away that it was not your basic run-of-the-mill script and needed to check with the doctor. A minute later she returns and says "No problem - we can fill it". Then Dr. Hill came out and asked if I've ever worn glasses with prisms and gave me some words of advice on what to expect. He was very nice and very knowledgeable. Although they didn't have a wide selection of designer frames, what they had was certainly adequate and I had no trouble finding a pair of suitable frames that looked great and wouldn't require me to take out a loan from my bank. The girl who verified my insurance was very thorough and even stated that I had "really good insurance coverage" (this is the 2nd time I've been told this). My glasses were ready in less than a week and after a quick adjustment, the person fitting my glasses said that if I had any problem with my perscription, to come back and see them and they would take care of it. Now THAT is excellent, hassle-free customer service! I got a great pair of glasses, wasn't overcharged, and left happy. Even if you don't live in the immediate Rockwall area, this place is worth the drive.
