I used to love coming here for birthday presents and toys for my children. The problem is since the…read morenew owner has taken over, there is a definite strange vibe in the store. The staff is mostly pleasant but store over all has an unwelcoming presence . Hoping the new owner will take note. One instance In particular I was made to feel very uncomfortable When I wanted points added for my purchase. The person ringing me up acted as if I was asking for something that I wasn't entitled to. Basically Since their computers were down she acted as if I was a nuisance.

The woman at the register was incredibly sweet, however a couple minutes after we entered, another woman came into the store. Im not sure what the woman's name was, but she was an employee. We got there about 10 minutes before closing although we were unaware of that until the other employee brought it up. We apologized & responded by saying we were just trying to get an idea of what the store had and didn't plan on staying past closing. The woman responded with "well some of us have places to be & lives to live". She came off as very rude, despite the other employee insisting to her that she would be fine alone, and that she could leave early. We got there at about 5:20, and the door was not locked, nor did the register woman mention she had an issue at all. My husband went back inside after loading our kids up to explain to the nicer woman, how off putting the other had been, and that it's deterring us as new customers to come back. He went back to iterate that behaving that way was just very rude of her, and we also wanted to ensure that she wasn't the owner of the store. 1 star off for that woman, 4 stars that maybe could become 5 depending on our next visit which will hopefully be a better one. I don't know if she was having a bad day, or an emergency, but we did not appreciate her demeanor towards us, especially in the presence of our children. The only reason we are going to give this place another shot, is due to the woman at the register who was both apologetic & sympathetic on behalf of her coworker. 05/19/2026

Such a cute little boutique with a ton of baby and toddler clothes! They had a ton of holiday items…read moreand toys too. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the prices were good (with a sale section in the front). I was there over this past weekend to grab a few things and they wrapped everything up so nicely for me (including a gift). I'll definitely be back soon!

I found books I absolutely love--some I discovered on my own and others that were personally recommended by the store's fabulous curator, and owner Peter. When I mentioned a book I had recently read and loved--Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin--Peter immediately jumped up, went straight to the bottom shelf, and pointed it out. There was even a handwritten staff recommendation and summary attached to the book. Many of the books throughout the store have these thoughtful mini-reviews, which made browsing feel so personal and engaging. I love the overall vibe of this shop. The selection of gifts is just right: a charming mix of journals, candles, book-themed merchandise, and a few toys--including stuffed animals. I fell in love with a stuffed bear and now I'll have to go back because I didn't purchase him (regret!).
