Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with plenty of room to spread out after long days of eating our way through Ensenada and wine tasting in the valley. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the pool is amazing. Service throughout the property was warm and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to want guests to enjoy their stay. One thing I appreciate about Coral & Marina is that it offers a different vibe than the large resort-style properties further south. It feels quieter, more relaxed, and more authentically Ensenada. It's the kind of place where you can spend the morning at the spa, the afternoon exploring fish taco stands and wineries, and the evening watching the sunset over the marina with a glass of Baja wine. That killed the appetite pretty quick. We also ordered wine but we did not ask for the price and they ended up pouring a very expensive bottle. It was good but make sure you ask because the bill was pretty high We also booked this place because paddle boarding was offered. When we went to rent the boards they said they were not renting them out. I've stayed at a couple of hotels in this area but I think this one might be one of the best! Check in - Check-in was super easy and hassle free. I booked through booking.com, so my room was paid for when I got there. My room was ready upon arrival and the front desk was friendly and provided helpful check in/out instructions. They then directed me to the parking lot inside where I was able to leave my car overnight. The hotel has a security guard who watches the lot and hotel grounds, which I appreciate. I also liked that the hotel has an elevator, so you don't have to worry about carrying heavy suitcases upstairs if your room is on the second floor. Rooms - First impression of the room was that it was clean and inviting. The room itself is on the smaller size, but not too crowded. The double rooms come with full size beds that are quite comfortable. The room also had a coffee maker, iron, TV, and a small closet to hang up clothes. What I loved the most was the bathroom! Spacious, modern looking, and best of all... GREAT water pressure and temperature regulation. Those who have traveled to Mexico know that good water pressure and a steady warm water flow is hard to come by, even at hotels. This place did not disappoint, and for me, this is probably one of the greatest selling points! Complimentary breakfast - my reservation also included a complimentary breakfast for one or two people. The person at the front desk gave me a card to redeem at their restaurant, which is located across the hotel. You get a choice of four breakfast options ranging from your typical eggs and potatoes, to pancakes and bacon, and Mexican chilaquiles. I honestly didn't expect much given my experiences with complimentary breakfasts at hotels in the US. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the breakfast was! Since I went with my family, I got to try all four options, and they were all pretty good and the portions were filling. I also appreciated that you have an option to take the breakfast to-go, so if you're in a hurry, you can drop by the restaurant, place your order, and pick up your breakfast on your way out. I will definitely be back here and will update my review with some pictures for those of you who are interested!

THEIR PARKING IS NOT SAFE!!!!! They stole my car. It was parked right in front of the property and nobody knows what happened. They have security and but also security doesn't know what happen. Its sad to see a great business not provide the same energy to keep the cars safe. Oh well HOTEL Casa del Sol. You tried :/. What a petty. If your coming here try to bring a common car. Also mangement be better next time when it comes to situations like these.

It's an open road and you will only feel comfortable if you are driving a truck or go 2 miles an hour. Secondly, our room wasn't ready until 3:45pm, the room was nice, but it wasn't cleaned properly. The floor was dusty and there were pieces of food next to the bed. The night tables were also dusty and the sink in the bathroom looked dirty. They advertise a rain shower head, but there's just water going everywhere at changing pressure, it's a nightmare if you are trying to wash your hair! Their spa closes at 3:30pm, so treatments are only available in the morning. Their pool is not heated and in order to access the jacuzzi, you have to pay a day pass at the spa ($80 per person). The complimentary breakfast they offer is just coffee, fruit and small muffin or brownie, but the menu they have is pretty good. We had the fit omelette, the brioche bread and the huarache and it was all very tasty. The one positive thing about this place is their restaurant "fuego". We ate there twice and loooooved their food. I wouldn't really recommend this property unless you have someone else driving you around. After doing more research, we realized there are wayyyy better properties, and this one is not worth the $200 a night.

The bathroom tub looked like it was going to break, when stepping on it the floor would sink. The room tv's did not work and the outlets look like they have not been updated since the late 1980's. We were originally going to stay 3 night but left on the 2nd night, we weren't even asked why when checking out. The pool is clean and very well kept. I was surprised that the premises had free ice machines. The water was salty so when showering you could feel the salt on your body. There's bellboys but when arriving to our spot none approached us, mind you we're 2 adults and 2 children including an infant.

Went with my friend to the bar area last night fir her to get a margarita and she said it was delicious. I would absolutely come back here again and again. Ps: Just for my memory this veteran's day weekend there were professional racers here.. that was really cool. The Baja 1000 .. they came to sit in the hot tub with us. It's on the water and has it's own very tiny beach. They provide an opportunity to jet ski, kayak or just lay about with a drink in your hand. There are several tiers of rooms here and you truly get what you pay for. If you reserve a cheap room next to the parking lot, you will get one that's moderately decorated, with no WiFi access, thin walls and a greater noise level. If you pay more and get a poolside room, your room is well decorated, thicker walls, WiFi access and limited noise. The staff here speaks moderate English and the guests were mostly Mexican. Overall, everyone was friendly. They are pet friendly as well. The bar and restaurant were awesome. The service was terrific, especially considering my pathetic Spanish. The local wines are delicious and anything you order with fish was very fresh. My favorite was the shrimp ceviche tostadas which were out of this world and I ate them every day. There was live music at night, they were mostly playing old American tunes which was kind of funny with the Spanish accents, but the bands were very talented. Overall, our stay was nice, but considering price and location, we will likely explore other options on our next trip.

Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean also. The room itself could use some improvement. The bathroom has very minimal amenities so I suggest you brnging your personal care stuff like shampoo, soap, lotion, etc. No fridge in the room. Bedsheets/pillow looked a bit old as well. I like my pillows fluffy and these weren't. 3 stars for the location and Sunday morning buffet. They had a variety of thing and their chilaquiles were very good.
