My friend and I went back to Quintessential Sweets to celebrate my birthday. It was a little busy when we walked in, but it was worth just to look around. It was amazing to look at all the desserts that were on display. I ordered the Strawberry Shortcake Funnel cake and cherry flavor snow. This place is right next door to a pickleball location, so it was a great refresher after time on the court. The building is tiny, so there aren't many seats available inside. However, they do have some tables outside if you'd like to have a less tight atmosphere while trying to dine in. The ice cream is in the back, while the shaved ice is displayed out front, along with plenty of other sweet treats to try. I had the peaches and watermelon shaved ice, and it was pretty good. I would not recommend. They still have their location in downtown off of Main st listed on their website despite it being closed. It's listed on Apple Maps as open as well (which I have reported). When I walked in it smelled bad like old, burned dirty frying grease and I thought if I just got a chocolate apple it might be okay but I swear somehow the chocolate tasted like dirty grease too like the odor from the restaurant absorbed into it.
