There is a wild Alaskan fried fish sandwich that looks to be added new you can get it single single sandwich or you can get a combo then they have a number one original combo which the original combo is hamburger fries and a drink and then for dessert, there's so many different options, but on this particular order, got the Oreo confectioner confections the confectioner of the confections has Oreo ice cream, chocolate fudge and I think it's got crumbles of chocolate brownie on top with crumbled up pieces of Oreo and then the other one is like vanilla ice cream and then it a scoop is like a scoop of vanilla ice cream but then there's a scoop of Oreo cookies and cream, and then top with cookies and cream cookies cookie crumbles on top of that both of the desserts were served really fast. read more

This place is addicting. I love it. We stop by whenever we get the chance. They also do pup cups which I appreciate. I feel that the small is even too much for me so I almost always get the mini. I tend to like mixtures with oreos, brownie chunks, cheesecake, and fudge but not all mixed together. The Cherry Chocolate Love tastes almost like Cherry Garcia so I loooove it. I miss the former ownership at this location. The most recent owners have really made this place go downhill. Went inside for the first time in awhile and man it was filthy. No ice cream cakes available, looked like the fridge had never been cleaned, the floors were sticky, there was an open, half eaten container of food a worker brought from home on the counter behind the register. Only 2 people working so even though nobody was in there, I had to wait. No hair nets in the kitchen, no gloves, machines and countertops were dirty, even papers taped to the machines were covered in dried chocolate ice cream. I'd be surprised if people haven't gotten sick from eating here. Used to be a hidden gem in the Memphis area but not anymore. The gas station it's connected to is nicer. Didn't buy anything, won't be back unless management fixes the obvious problems. read more

What a complete shot show. No one knows what's going on and the staff spends more time trying to figure out what to do than actually doing anything. It's not busy but due to the mind numbing inefficiency the place is packed with people who made the same fatal error I did and ordered food in the app before seeing what was going on. 45 minutes for - Sunday and a milk shake that was 90% milk and 10% shake, disappointing on every single level and ultimately a complete failure by this place. My son has ordered a cherry dipped cone 3 weeks in a row and they are out every time. Even though he orders and pays for it ahead of time on the app. He did not want to put a review but when I see that it is his hard earned money, I get upset. Obviously the store does not carry this item so the app should be able to adjust and say when something is not available at a certain store. This DQ is always off the chain busy. And I know why! It's a great example of hard working people coming together to put out a great product. It's literally the only place in this general area I count on to have a decent experience every single visit. I absolutely love the butterfinger blizzard. Not going to bother driving back to this location. Tonight was our second visit in two months - the only two times we've come here. Both times they told us the ice cream machines were broken. This Dairy Queen customer service was great but when we got our blizzards it was a let down and so was the milkshake. The blizzard's did not reach the top of the cup or close to it. I felt they skimmed it instead filling the entire cup. I've had blizzards before from other DQs and we all felt slighted. Same with the shake. Thinned out and just not the thickness expected of a shake. More like melting ice cream. For this Dairy Queen it was a thumbs down for returning. We didn't want to ride out to Atoka for DQ from Bartlett but looks like we will from now on. read more

Just fine. This locations is usually super busy-or it looks that way because it's drive thru only still and always has a line wrapped around. I guess they're short staffed, but it's been this way for at least a couple months now. The ice cream is always good/made correctly but one time we waited in the long/slow line only to find out they couldn't make blizzards that day-which is what we had come for. This is the only Dairy Queen in all of Shelby County. Driving all the way out here to the middle of nowhere to get a Blizzard is no small undertaking. After miles and miles just to get here, we were told "the ice cream machine is down." Seriously? I understand McDonald's saying that, but they don't have Dairy in their name and as part of their whole brand. We wasted all this time and gas for nothing. Went thru the drive thru and ordered 4 Blizzards. The cashier handed the blizzards out and had no idea which one was which. Then when we asked her why one of them wasn't chocolate like we ordered. She stated they don't sell chocolate ice cream. I explained that the blizzard was supposed to have fudge mixed in to the ice cream and she told me that is not how they make it. Uh yeah you do!! The night manager on Saturday July 15th is extremely unpleasant. She is yelling at her staff, including what looks to be a very young girl, probably 16 or so. This girl has been nothing but sweet and is clearly doing her best to take care of customer orders. She is also shouting at her kitchen staff and it's unacceptable. Tonight I drove up & tried to order & the girl said to wait a moment. Several minutes later, I said Hello to get someone's attention (no one was in front of me)...& she said I'd have to wait a moment. I said I had already waited a moment & how long do you think it will be? She said I was being rude & if I don't want to wait, go somewhere else! I asked who her manager was & she didn't say anything else & made me sit there. So I drove around to the window & no one would come to the window. I blew my horn & got a guy's attention. I told him I needed to order because the lady wouldn't let me. By this time, I noticed there were two cars behind me & she had taken THEIR order. So finally SHE got to the window & took my order. I enjoy the blizzards but hate to say it's odd that I keep coming here. When I've eaten inside the place it's always a bit messy. The burgers are pretty pathetic, enough to the point that I haven't eaten their meals in a long time now. The most frustrating thing for me is the lack of maintenance that they put into this place. I drive by here multiple times each day/ night and the light outside the entryway has been flickering for well over a year. Yes over a year! That's a strange thing to mention but it pisses me off so there happy to get that off my chest. No doubt we'll continue to get the blizzards but wouldn't recommend the burgers. Sometimes I get a craving for a DQ Chili Cheese Dog ($2.79). They used to have Foot Longs, but no more. The Burger Menu of the past has exploded over the past decade, as DQ struggles to compete with restaurants by offering Chicken Strips, Artisan Sandwiches, Kansas City BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches, etc. I've eaten these & they are good quality. This location is on the after-school route of 3 large campuses, not to mention the night & weekend games & activities that whet kids' & teens' appetites. Dining Room is standing-room only on such occasions. Brilliant site selection. read more

I'm from the Midwest originally, which means there is a DQ on every corner just about everywhere. Actually, if I was a betting gal, I'd place odds on the fact that there are more DQs than Starbucks in my old hood. We searched high and wide in Memphis for a DQ when we first moved here, and sadly this is one of only a few locations we've stumbled upon (quite literally in this case). I love me some Butterfinger Blizzards, turtle waffle bowls and cherry dipped cones. There's something fantastic about the way the soft serve oozes out of the tiny holes in the crunchy cherry coating on a hot summer day. Mmmm. This spot is really clean despite it being attached to a gas station. In fact. the entire building seems new. Trust me on this one, no matter how bad a Dairy Queen craving might get, it won't ever be bad enough to eat at one attached to a questionable gas station. There are no DQs around here, so I was (lamely) psyched when this one opened. It's attached to a gas station, but it's nice. The food's good quality. I usually get chicken or fish and they're both really good. I like the bread they have here as they put it on a panini press or something (even if it's just toast). It's still just white bread, but it's just something a little different, you know? If I do get a burger though, they're good. Definitely better than McDonald's or Burger King, that's for sure. And of course...the ice cream. Let me just say this: if it's summer, get the freaking s'mores blizzard flavour. UNF. Get it in a cup, get in a cone, get it as a shake, it doesn't matter. It's just good. Maybe I'm biased because s'mores are my favourite dessert (no lie), but I love it. A word of the wise: avoid coming here on Tuesday nights. It's family night. They get super slammed. I have no idea what exactly family night entails, but from what I could gather it meant lots of parents and kids ordered a hell of a lot of ice cream. It meant we ended up waiting 15 minutes for our food while people who came in way after us got their ice cream and left. Pretty annoying, to say the least. But any other time I've come, the service has been fine, as has the turnaround in terms of when the food arrives. read more

The workers were nice enough but that's where the nice stops. Ordered my food off the menu and sit down, then find out they no longer sell some of the items on their menu, so I get to reorder. While waiting on the food I was treated to an orchestra of chaos. I can only assume it was the manager that had the gold grill in her mouth since she was yelling at everyone else in the kitchen. One employee yelled back for her to tell a different employee to do whatever task she felt was beneath her. Finally I got my food in a "to go" bag (I asked for it "for here"). No team work or organization involved at the location. After finishing my food I went up to get my blizzard (that i had asked to not wait on but they didn't catch that request either) and had to tell them for a 3rd time what kind I wanted. While waiting on the blizzard I had a lovely view of an employee fanning herself with a hamburger Patty (without gloves on) before slapping it on a burger to serve it up. I later saw the same employee sneeze directly into her hand. Not coming back here any time soon. read more

We would not have even stopped yesterday, but we were on our way home and it was the only restaurant on that part of Houston Levy. We paid over seven dollars for a chicken strip basket that consisted of four strips that were the size of nuggets. I go here because it is close to home. Usually through drive thru. I like their turtle pecan cluster blizzard. However the preparation can be inconsistent - sometimes hardly no fudge, sometimes not blended much, sometimes not many pecans. Maybe it was my fault for thinking that even though they were near closing, they would still care about the quality of their food, but I was wrong. I went through the drive through about 30 minutes from closing and ordered a mushroom swiss burger. I had the distinct displeasure of watching them assemble my sandwich. I watched them take a patty out of a warming box, throw it on a bun, put the cheese and mushrooms on, wrap it up, and throw the entire thing in the microwave for 2 minutes. I was hungry, in a hurry, and not in the mood to argue, so I figured, whatever, I'll just eat it. That was a mistake. The texture of the meat was awful, the mushrooms were slimy and disgusting, and I'm not sure they can legitimately call the cheese swiss. I ate 1/4 of the burger and threw the rest in the trash. The fries were equally bad and soggy. I ate 3 or 4 and couldn't stomach the rest. I will never eat at this place ever again even if it was free. They could offer to pay me to eat their burgers and I wouldn't. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

This was the closest Dairy Queen in my vicinity, but I should have driven further to a different location. The workers were unprofessional and careless. They had no concerns about food quality. They allowed people behind the counter that didn't work there. The worker just gave us our blizzards without saying which was which and didn't give us spoons. She then looked at us like we were stupid when we asked for spoons. The blizzard flavored weren't even correct but at that point we just wanted to leave. It was a whole feeling of them not caring.
