There's also an upstairs so I assume that more tables are up there. To start you queue up at the counter and pick your meat and put it bun. Ask the guy to recommend the rest because he's got lots of sauces. Then choose veggies and you're nearly there. We also added a coffee which was way too good for a deli. The sandwiches were delicious. The amount was just right. The bun is not huge so you won't be stuffed with bread. It can get messy because there's more fillings than bun but don't worry because there are three washrooms to wash your sticky fingers. Seriously I haven't enjoyed a new place in Edmonton this much in a long time. As for the location... Well eventually it might be okay. It's fine during the day. I highly recommend Patricia Street.

I would definitely recommend, it's a cozy space to bring some friends.

As others have noted, there is no seating area, they are take out only. But the folks down at Roasti don't mind if you bring you sandwich from here in there to enjoy with your coffee. I have heard incredible things about their breakfast sandwiches, but haven't tried them myself yet. So far I think I've had a BLT, a Beef Dip, and a Cajun Chicken Cesar Wrap. My only "complaint" is that they are so large! Really not a complaint at all, and the prices are fantastic for what you get. Everything is made to order, so don't expect to whip in really quickly to grab something unless you have called ahead. I found the menu to be a little confusing at first, because until you get up to the counter to order, all you see is the chalkboard with their specials on it. But once I realized how it worked, I got the hang of it. they have daily and weekly specials for breakfast and lunch, as well as daily soups that are made in house! Follow them on social media to see their specials posted every tuesday. They also have a large selection of baked goods that you can take home. In addition to the wonderful food, the service is incredible. I've never left there without a smile.

Basically all their pasta is made in house and they generally have 2 short noodles and 2 long noodles. You pick what pasta you want and then pair a sauce to go with it. I picked for lack of knowing what it is called squiggly noodles. There is a whole bunch of sauces -vegatarian, spicy Italian, Meat, 4 cheese, Alfredo, etc. For me I chose the spicy Italian. My husband and daughter chose meat and 4 cheeses. The pasta was ready when you brought it back to you table. It was piping hot. And delicious! Great bite to the pasta and that sauce is amazing! My family enjoyed theirs as well. Definately come here. It would be good for take out.

You can eat in and get refills with the large portion size which was great for a growing hockey player. I still come here, though not as much as the prices have crept a touch high. For $24 we got 2 slabs of ribs, hot potatoe salad loaded with bacon and a gigantic portion of coleslaw. At any restaurant it easily would of cost $60 plus dollars. It still feels welcoming like the smaller store layouts with how they designed extra areas to display items. Smartly located north of Greenland Garden Centre, the hospital and the newer shopping common in Emerald Drive & Cloverbar Road. Easy to access going on and off Yellowhead from this location and plenty of room for whatever vehicle size you have. Handicap (several stalls) is right up along the building and not mixed amongst other parking spots. I need to applaud the staff. I've always thought the Italian Centre has friendly and helpful staff but tonight they were incredibly thoughtful. For someone like myself that is mobility limited, I use what I know at that time is going to give me the least amount of pain while shopping (that's 9 out of 10 times a shopping basket). Not only did the cashier bag the groceries well enough for me to carry with one hand, but while she was doing that, she asked another to grab me a cart. Both noticing my cane and how many bags I was about to try and carry did that favour before my shopping order was finished being scanned. I was very impressed she went a step further and offered to assist with the remaining groceries I was yet to load when she spotted I was still in the parking lot (colder weather means I move slower). This is definitely a first for me to experience that at an Italian Centre. Greatly appreciated as reaching into the cart for unbagged items is sometimes tricky for me (pumpkin was the culprit tonight). The layout of this place left me feeling impressed from the spacing of the aisles and the thought that went behind allowing extra room where there most likely would be more people gathered waiting (like at the deli). With the amount of items in there, I'm confident there was a lot more specialty items than at other locations. Even the kitchenwares was displayed in a such a way along the windows that I could actually see what was all there (and reach it easier if I did want to buy anything from an assortment of spoons, rolling pins, pans, pasta press, coffee perks and even icing applicators). I wasn't surprised to see they had a very large layout for all the vinaigrette and olive oil but the way it's showcased makes you feel like you're shopping in a wine store but you're definitely not. As directly to the right there's a very large display of cheese rounds attractively lit beside the deli. The deli and bakery counters seem longer than at the other locations (or maybe it's because again it's very well lit in key areas?). Definitely lots of choices for packaged or freshly cut meat and cheeses. The bakery area probably took me the longest in the store. As I needed to narrow down the options (as there's so many wonderful looking desserts!). Spinelli's café that has its own entrance and looks like during this time it is kept separate from the grocery area with the rope barrier. Looks like a generous amount of tables and next time I'll go earlier with the thought to check out that side too. Overall, The store impressed me. It's definitely worth the extra bit of driving time home if you're out that way already for other things or in need of a place to visit friends and grab a good coffee.

" Average overpriced sandwiches with fries "…read more Jon Smith Subs just opened in the space of the old Mucho Burrito on baseline Rd in Sherwood Park. The signs say " bring your big mouth " and " love local, eat delicious ". Turns out this is a Florida, USA-based small chain, so not much for local. The decor is basic planked woods with vinyl green and grey benches. You can smell a Whiff of grease from the fryers as you open the door. Wait, what? Yes, fryers! They sell French fries and poutine in a sandwich shop lol. First impressions remind me of What Mr Sub, which happens to be located across the street, used to be like 15 years ago. The subs here start at $7.95 for a small and go up to. Around $15 for the 12in. I wanted to try different sandwiches so I started out by ordering a small " triple deli classic " which comes with turkey, ham and roast beef - only to be told it only comes in the large format, really? Ah ok... so let's move on. I ordered a small montreal smoked beef ($7.95) and the small Italian Steak ($7.95) and had the choice of white or whole wheat bread. The sandwiches were extra small and thin - the smoked beef was barely 4 inches in lenght, while the steak was about right at a skinny 6 inches. The bread was small and chewy, nothing special. Definitively, there was not enough meat on the sandwiches and I don't get the branding that says bring a big mouthful, nah! The bun for the Italian steak was flat and arched making the meat look heaping but it was just an ok average portion for this type of froid beef-ish steak-ish meat. The Italian steak sandwich overall tasted very bland, the marinara was a sauce with nothing going for it. As for the steak meat, it appeared to be made of tiny ground/ strip beef-ish shreds of the supermarket precooked variety. The corned beef was shredded, very skimpy instead of it being stacked high and definitely lacked the montreal corned beef heaping full, big mouth sandwiches that come with such an appellation in Montreal. To my surprise they sell fries and poutine on the menu. I made one of the sandwiches a combo with a fountain drink and a small poutine ($5.95). For a minute I figured they might as well sell hot dogs and onion rings.... Ah but I'd rather get those giant hot dogs at the nearby Costco with a drink for $2... ah well... ideas ideas.:/ 15 minutes and $23 later; there was nothing special about this place - bland small and thus overpriced sandwiches, with fries - is my overall impression. Now that I have tried it; I will return to my good old Mr Sub across the street. #Next!

I was really quite impressed with the subs - my cajun steak sub was nicely spicy, fresh bread, good flavours. My partner's cuban was very cheesy and tasty as well. The fries were delicious! The dining space is clean and uncluttered. There are a couple of booths and a few tables and it was quite comfortable to sit and eat our lunch.
