Tucked away in a random plaza in Sherwood Park is a tiny bakery counter that also serves sandwiches - that's all they do, and it's fantastic. Fresh breads, bagels and baked goods are displayed in a small case at the door opposite an unexplained lifesized cutout of Mr. Bean. On the heartier menu you'll find breakfast & lunch sandwiches, and daily specials are posted on their socials. Everything is surprisingly inexpensive, which is so welcome in this economy. Sandwiches for $10 are stufffeedd and super flavourful. We tried the spicy beef and reuben and they were both so good! A perfect balance of flavours and textures, I absolutely loved both. Couldn't pass up the giant cinnamon buns that were extra gooey and fluffy, though inconsistent in size (one was probably 2.5 times the size of the other I bought, but both still huge). And what a steal they were - $4/1 or $13/4 is fantastic pricing! Notes: there is no seating area, it's only a take out spot - we ate in the car while it was still warm and it's definitely the way to go. It got quite busy around peak lunchtime, so be prepared to wait. The drink selection is also very limited (no water, a couple of juices or craft sodas) but there's a convenience store or coffee shop in the same plaza.

Breakfast is a must! And those buns were baked fresh! Family run business, theres a giant mr.bean cutout inside, real sasuage rolls, and the meat pies you can order to bake at home for an easier dinner option! Thank you Niall!

It's hard to resist all the pastry goodies lined up so pretty at the window so of course we got a few. My personal favourites are the cannoli's. But this time we also had a very delightful danish, a rich cream horn and a jelly filled donut. We stopped and had lunch and ordered 2 different pizza's, which came out pretty quickly considered how busy it was. The Margarita pizza $14.00 (tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil) was delicious. The house made pizza dough is cooked perfectly by the way! And we also got the feature pizza. Nice clean bathrooms near the back of the store, plenty of parking out front. Overall a fun outing with the family that we all enjoyed.

Great first time impression going into the newest of the Italian Centres tonight. Bright, spacious,…read moreflows well from section to section. It still feels welcoming like the smaller store layouts with how they designed extra areas to display items. Smartly located north of Greenland Garden Centre, the hospital and the newer shopping common in Emerald Drive & Cloverbar Road. Easy to access going on and off Yellowhead from this location and plenty of room for whatever vehicle size you have. Handicap (several stalls) is right up along the building and not mixed amongst other parking spots. I need to applaud the staff. I've always thought the Italian Centre has friendly and helpful staff but tonight they were incredibly thoughtful. For someone like myself that is mobility limited, I use what I know at that time is going to give me the least amount of pain while shopping (that's 9 out of 10 times a shopping basket). Not only did the cashier bag the groceries well enough for me to carry with one hand, but while she was doing that, she asked another to grab me a cart. Both noticing my cane and how many bags I was about to try and carry did that favour before my shopping order was finished being scanned. I was very impressed she went a step further and offered to assist with the remaining groceries I was yet to load when she spotted I was still in the parking lot (colder weather means I move slower). This is definitely a first for me to experience that at an Italian Centre. Greatly appreciated as reaching into the cart for unbagged items is sometimes tricky for me (pumpkin was the culprit tonight). The layout of this place left me feeling impressed from the spacing of the aisles and the thought that went behind allowing extra room where there most likely would be more people gathered waiting (like at the deli). With the amount of items in there, I'm confident there was a lot more specialty items than at other locations. Even the kitchenwares was displayed in a such a way along the windows that I could actually see what was all there (and reach it easier if I did want to buy anything from an assortment of spoons, rolling pins, pans, pasta press, coffee perks and even icing applicators). I wasn't surprised to see they had a very large layout for all the vinaigrette and olive oil but the way it's showcased makes you feel like you're shopping in a wine store but you're definitely not. As directly to the right there's a very large display of cheese rounds attractively lit beside the deli. The deli and bakery counters seem longer than at the other locations (or maybe it's because again it's very well lit in key areas?). Definitely lots of choices for packaged or freshly cut meat and cheeses. The bakery area probably took me the longest in the store. As I needed to narrow down the options (as there's so many wonderful looking desserts!). Spinelli's café that has its own entrance and looks like during this time it is kept separate from the grocery area with the rope barrier. Looks like a generous amount of tables and next time I'll go earlier with the thought to check out that side too. Overall, The store impressed me. It's definitely worth the extra bit of driving time home if you're out that way already for other things or in need of a place to visit friends and grab a good coffee.

It is clean and warm. There are great photos on the walls. Just not somwhere that you would linger to eat. I noticed that people were mostly on thier phones rather thant conversing at the table. It is unfortunate. The staff however were friendly and awesome. So enthusiastic and helpful. Made me glad to be there. Basically all their pasta is made in house and they generally have 2 short noodles and 2 long noodles. You pick what pasta you want and then pair a sauce to go with it. I picked for lack of knowing what it is called squiggly noodles. There is a whole bunch of sauces -vegatarian, spicy Italian, Meat, 4 cheese, Alfredo, etc. For me I chose the spicy Italian. My husband and daughter chose meat and 4 cheeses. The pasta was ready when you brought it back to you table. It was piping hot. And delicious! Great bite to the pasta and that sauce is amazing! My family enjoyed theirs as well. Definately come here. It would be good for take out.

The pasticcio is so good, baked in cheese with different cuts of pasta. All the sauces complete the dish and they let you put multiple on. My favourites are the Hot Italian Sausage which has just the right amount of kick, and the four cheese which is really rich. Even with a line, you get your food quickly. You can eat in and get refills with the large portion size which was great for a growing hockey player. I still come here, though not as much as the prices have crept a touch high. Every time I am satisfied with my meal. It's a go to recommendation for me for anyone looking for somewhere to eat in the park!

My neighbor had recommended this place to me the other day because I mentioned to her that I have been craving pepperoni during my entire pregnancy but can't have it because of the sodium nitrates! She told me to go give Grapevine a try! My husband and I immediately hopped in the car to go check it out! And lo and behold they had all kinds of goodness! They had farm fresh eggs, little red and yellow cherry grape tomatoes from a local farm pesticide free for $3.50 (awesome!) and all kinds of goodness. They had shelves stocked with local and organically made glueten free pancakes, muffin, and bread mixes. I could go on and on! I also noticed that about 6 people came in while I was there and every customer was greeted by their first name! They also serve sandwiches made fresh and soup to go! All their deli meats were reasonably priced... no specials of the week... but $2.99 for 100 grams was pretty typical of their prices which is great for soidum nitrate and filler free deli meat! I was able to get my beloved pepperoni in sodium nitrate free! They even had quite a variety - honey garlic, spicy, turkey, ham and & ??? can't remember... I left there quite impressed and looking forward to becoming a regular!

I must say that it was quite busy in there and I felt a little ignored at the beginning. I guess they have their own system on how to manage their customers but it seemed a bit disorganized. Once I did get some service I realized how much they knew about their products. I think they also realized I knew what I was talking about as well. I was really happy when they let me try the smoked bison tenderloin because it was amazing. I immediately ordered 100g because it was so good and they actually gave me close to 200g for the price of 100. I will definitely be back here to get the triple smoked bacon and I will have to try some of their other offerings.
