I was trying to give them the benefit if thr doubt, but they woman just hung up.on me. I had left two messages for the owner. I wanted to ask if he'd given my mom's sweaters to Goodwill. The last woman I spoke to was nicer. It is cruel and also stupid business practice. I never write reviews, but this is how bad the service is here. Dropped off a dress to get dry cleaned for the extremely high price of $20. Specifically mark ALL the stains (reason I am dry cleaning it) and tell them I need it for an event. Come to pick it up and they will not refund me and there is an obvious stain (they swear they could hardly see, it's red). The first worker was so rude they walked away (funny this is not the first review that mentions rude workers). They kept telling me I wouldn't let them talk...well, I was so taken aback there is no refund for not doing a service I specifically asked for. Do I pay for a car wash when they don't wash my car? The second worker was trying to be caring and fix it, so I can't fault them...but do you think I actually want to drop my dress off again there? Also wouldn't put me in touch with a manager. I have been going here for way more than I want to share. Laundry is a crappy job but a necessity so when going to a business that maybe I really do not want to be at it is always a plus when the staff is awesome! Mary Jane and the other regulars that have never skipped a beat through all of this craziness 2020 has brought are always there with a listening ear to help in any way they can and just make it all a little bit easier. This has been my local laundry mat for a year now and although a bit dated in terms of still being coin op, they make it work well. The staff has gone above and beyond at times and it's appreciated and doesn't go unnoticed. Also, every ten washes you do in a certain size or larger you receive a stamped card and get a free wash. No need to go further than here! read more

I like this laundry bc they open early. They also let me use their tennis balls to dry my LLBean feather down sleeping bag. The internet here is good too! I like to go super early. Thurs and Friday the small dryers are only $1 for 30 minutes. They have a "grab a stuffed animal" machine and the people I've seen using it are quite successful at it. read more

Came with white load to put in hot water...AFTER I PUT IN $5.25 IN MACHINE and went to desk I was told they had NO HOT WATER and it was too late to get money back since machine had started with COLD water. It is me again...the attendant just came and gave me my money back!!! The service is very helpful! read more

I like to come when certain people are working I do very much enjoy Mary Jane she is funny , nice and goes out of her way to take of you . And as far as the Covid guild lines I have seen staff wearing makes along with costumers they are very clean I always see them wiping things down . I was so glad to find a wash n fold service on the CT shoreline. My town only has dry cleaners. As a new customer, I found the web site to be professional, no obvious bad reviews....I am the first one to review on yelp! The facility is clean, and looks new, cash only, but I'm fine with that. It looks like a truly professional operation, prices are good. Great location. However... I returned to pick up my quilt, and my bed spreads. The bedding was returned in a clean plastic tote, however the moment I opened the zippered tote, I was transported to a1960's townie bar (non filter camels only)! I unfolded everything on my master bed to check for other possible nasal assaults, and in seconds my clean allergy free bedroom reeked of pipe and stale cigarette smoke, with big blast of horrific cheep laundry detergent. I'm willing to pay for top service, and I want it to be this convenient location. I will return my quilt and speak to owner. Then send update. 9/25/2014 update from Darlene Returned to speak with owner....I must say he was professional and happens to be a super nice guy, rather charming! He took my quilt back no question or hesitation, no charge ofcourse. I will give a second star just for that. I hear the owner has been in this business for a long time, and is very sharp and successful...he can't be blamed for a poor worker who may have smoked near my quilt and did not dry it adequately. I'm sure he will upgrade the detergent he uses, and if he does that...this place can be the best laundry service on the CT shoreline. When I get my quilt back ....if the smell is gone...this place gets 4 stars! Update soon! Update! Long story short. Got the quilt back...it did travel a little, LOL, but it was washed in Tide as requested. Smell 90% removed, and the owner followed up and personally took care of everything. I have upgraded to a 4 star....and will give it a 5 if they promise to never use the original odd smelling laundry detergent again! Tip.....ask for items to be washed in Tide! read more

Went in at 8am for their wash dry and fold service for same day pickup. This is normal if you drop off early enough and since this was all my clothes and bedding, I didn't really have the option of waiting till the next day. Instead of explaining their situation or trying to work something out the lady behind the counter just snapped back that they couldn't do it and only tomorrow! This place is open till 9 and I would have come anytime that evening to get it. It's hard to believe they couldn't make this happen in a 13 hour window. For not being able to dosame day I would knock off 2-3 stars and for the rude customer service they go down to 1 star.... 0 stars if I could. read more

I like this laundromat because they have convenient hours and services. There's a machine where I can put in $20 and get it broken into $5s so I don't have to get $20 in quarters. Washing machines of all different sizes that start at $3 per wash. Dryers of a few sizes as well. There's a decent selection of detergents and fabric softeners in case I forget my stuff at home. Love the free coffee and wifi. Washers and dryers are pretty clean and well maintained. The floor could use a cleaning but it's not awful by any means. The staff is friendly. Would recommend doing your laundry here. read more

Usually a good place except when a guy who works there is working; he is rude and demeaning to women. Also had his personal car in a front space and customers had to park farther away. Otherwise I have no issues with the place, clothes come out clean. Would be nice to have more seats though. read more
