But then the beverage machine ate more of my money. I was so frustrated at that point, I didn't even ask for the money back. Now, I'm stuck with this stupid card with a $12 balance that I can only use... you got it... at this laundry mat. If this process wasn't so convoluted I might actually recommend this place.

After scouring the internet for a competitively priced wash and fold (RIP Premium Fold, they were my go to), I found Laundry Express. They are a bit on the pricey side ($1.95/lb min. 25 pounds, including pickup and drop off services), but considering it's going to East Haven, I understand. They are great with communication and following directions, texting or calling along every step of the process. The driver, Pat, was super friendly and handled everything with care. I wish I could have tipped him (no cash) but next time! My clothes came back in water-resistant bags and wrapped in plastic bags so they didn't get wet due to the impending rain. They definitely do everything with care. I would happily use them again.

It looks like it is set up well to use the machines and they have those wire baskets on wheeled so you can move your laundry from the washer to the dryer. Wash dry fold is now $1.45 a pound (as of July 1, 2024). The people do wonderful job and are very responsive and easy to work with.

He said the place was very clean, and empty around 830-9am on a Saturday. He threw the comforter in the wash and came home...went back shortly after to stick it in the dryer. Since it wasn't too busy, no one had touched our items to use the washer which was nice. He also said the gentleman that was working there was also very helpful to answer questions or assistance. I would go here again - or make him come actually...as I thought the report he gave me was pretty pleasant. I guess if you must use a laundromat, it's nice to know the one close by is pretty decent.

The staff is kind but busy since you can drop off a load for an extra dollar ;). A great spot!

Showed me where to get a card and put money on it, showed me which machine to use by how much clothes I had. I used the 3 load machine which was 5.25. Detergent is free with your wash (if you happen to not have your own) and so is your drying. The wash takes no more than 25 minutes and the drying is 25 minutes as well. 25 minutes might not feel like enough time to dry clothes but it definitely does, so don't pay for extra dry time unless it's necessary. This is place is bright, clean, and well maintained. I tell everyone that goes to a laundromat to come here. And I will definitely be back for all my laundry needs.
