I found a tent that was selling key lime cake which I had to try...YUMMM! I bought a mini pecan pie and a mini sweet potato one too. Met a woodcraft artist, spoke to him for awhile. I bought a pestal and mortar set which was really reasonable. As I was ready to leave several more vendors showed up. Looked like farmers with their produce. I will definitely return to the market and venture out to visit the local small shops nearby.

Even my 16-year-old prefers their fruit over every grocery store in town, which says a lot. From the outside, you might think it's just a nursery, but there's a whole market tucked inside. They offer delivery, which is convenient, but I actually prefer coming in. Once you become a regular, there's a genuine family feeling that's hard to find these days. Great customer service. Polk's is a real treasure on this side of town, and one of those local businesses that makes a community feel special.
