Moving is never an easy or enjoyable process, but the Einstein team made it as smooth and stress-free as possible. The movers were incredibly professional, efficient, careful, and courteous from start to finish. I have several antiques and delicate glass and china pieces, and I was extremely impressed that everything arrived safely with no damage. There was a minor mishap involving my printer, but their claims department responded immediately and handled the situation professionally. Their willingness to quickly address the issue and make things right was another example of their excellent customer service. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, Einstein Movers will be my first call. Thank you for making a difficult experience such a positive one!

GREAT SERVICE !!!!…read more I was a bit nervous as my last move was disastrous. But let me tell you, it was a smooth process from start to pickup, which put my worries at ease. I got detailed email follow-up calls and calls upon arrival, and I also did a video call to go through everything I was moving for the quote. And I like how they split the packing and moving to the truck. The two guys who came back to pack my apartment were great and worked so diligently packing my things. They came prepared with everything they needed, and I just got out of the way, and they did their thing Honestly, the value for the service they provided was worth it. So if you are planning to move and need a great customer, this is the place to call Updated review coming on delivery. This review was based on packing and removing everything from the apartment

And I didn't like that you had to pay before they moved your furniture into the new place. I still don't know how moving costs could double during COVID (2023) to now (2026).

Do not EVER use AMS Moving. I had used them twice in the past 6 years in Dallas and experienced a…read morevery professional move both times. The price was fair and reasonable. I had quite a bit to pack and move in June 2025, and moved into a three story townhome. Considering that, I felt $3500 was a fair price. Last week, after downsizing quite a bit, doing most of my own packing (much of my stuff had never been unpacked and was still in AMS boxes from last year., I called them again based on my experiences in previous moves Unfortunately I didn't read recent reviews. They offered a "complimentary" kitchen packing, which I accepted. (It's not complimentary!) The crew of three men and one gal showed up- gal in charge. One guy was great, the other two did t speak English and were like two of the three stooges. Laughing. Goofing around. Boss lady stayed in the truck and listened to something with headphones for hours. Then she decides to start packing the kitchen after 5 hours which ran the clock even further. Two Stooges Moe and Curly dropped my sofa, damaged the frame. They continued to mess around. Unloading was even worse.. I don't want to pay for someone to screw on lampshades. I need assistance to MOVE boxes and furniture. The guy who was hard working left between loading and unloading. In short: instead of the quoted price of $3500, I was charged $7500! I called customer service and they knocked $400 off labor because the fourth guy wasn't there to help unload. The movers broke a mahogany dining room chair, damaged my buffet, sofa (then tried to hide the damage) and a few other items. I will never ever recommend them again, nor will I use them to move again. Horrible customer service from Troy, horrible experience with YaYa and her two stooges. They acted like college kids helping move for beer and pizza! Hideous!

Thorough, efficient, highly professional. Would book again if I had to move again!…read more For help moving mostly just my large items (couch, bed, tables, etc) into a third floor elevator-less 1b1b apartment on a hot Texas June morning, Marlin and Gary with DFW moving company were exactly what I was seeking. Workflow: - straightforward online form instead of trying to make a phone call during business hours while at work - email confirmation right after submitting form and again two days prior to the move - as described in their email, on the morning of, I received a phone call within an hour before, informing me that they were on the way - they arrived just before the scheduled time (I was their first move of the day) - I had packed the things I wanted them to move in advance, so I showed them the piles of things I wanted them to move - we signed the contract (all the things I expected + insurance option, with the default basic option as a price per weight reimbursement for any damaged items) - without even having to say much to each other they knew where to start - wrapped all the big furniture in blankets and duct tape - couch cushions were temporarily a little squished as they do during a move, but there were no damages to anything - after the move, I verified that everything had been moved and signed the post-move part of the contract Pros: - perfect workflow for a zellenial who's used to ordering things online and they magically appear - the team understood that my goal was to stay within the 3h, told me it was definitely reasonable, and were ultimately able to accomplish it - paid in cash and exactly as quoted (minus the $75 deposit) with no surprise fees and no extra charge for supplies or gas or stairs

I can't say enough good things about this company and their employees…read more Setting the appointment was a breeze and the move itself was flawless. Very nice workers, a strong work ethic and good manners. "Yes maam" goes a long way with me. AND the actual cost was significantly less than the quote I agreed to. Firehouse Movers is who I'll call with any future moves.

BEWARE - BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with this company deserves one. I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.
