Guy, the general manager, is committed to taking good care of their customers, even after the sale. All of the service advisors are unfailingly knowledgeable and nice. Arrived at 10:45 on time and I had two questions before we went to the waiting room. #1, Will the zirk fitting be greased in the drive train? ANSWER, I don't know but I can put a request on the work sheet. QUESTION con't. Have they bee greased in the past? ANSWER, I don't know and there is no way of telling. QUESTION con't, We have been bringing this car here for ten years and no one has ever asked. No answer. QUESTION con't, Can I talk to the guy doing the work? ANSWER, no. I was so upset at that point I turned down his sales pitch to have more stuff done, there is a closer dealer to us to go to. #2. At 25,000 miles you had to regrind my front rotors and now they need it again. ANSWER, It is our mountain roads and the way you drive. QUESTION con't, I am 86 years old and have been driving for over 75 years. I drive like the old lady going to church on Sunday. We don't drive down any steep roads but once every three months and our roads elevation change is around 200 feet where we drive. The guy tried to tell me that even on curved roads the rotors can wear uneven, ME but I'm not stepping on the brakes. I worked in metallurgy for more than 15 years and I know that cast rotors can have varied hardness and I suspect I got a bad pair. The guy started to argue with me so I just walked away I suspect the response from Toyota will be the typical canned defense, have at it but I don't think we will be going back.
