In 2018, I returned with my 11 year old daughter and Dr. Perry and Dr. Gary (who had been a resident when I started) remembered me and made a great plan for her. Before my first daughter was done it was our youngest daughter's turn, and then before she was done my wife also became a patient. Thanks to the Drs. Opin our family have wonderful smiles, great memories, and highest recommendations for this practice. I arrived for my appointment and the technician asked me if I had any other concerns which I did, he spoke with the dentist & she advised him to just take images of the teeth that I had concerns of. After the dentist met with me I went to make a follow up appointment regarding my sensitive tooth, I approached the receptionist desk where she was whispering to the receptionist. I was told by the receptionist that the dentist wanted Imaging of all of my teeth & she informed me that my insurance would not cover the x-rays and I would have to pay out-of-pocket reason being that the dentist requested only three images that were just taken by the technician. The dentist was well aware that I had not been to that office in one complete year, why wouldn't she advise the technician to take imaging of all of my teeth? When I asked to speak with the dentist all of a sudden she was busy. This is unethical on her part & quite honestly bad business, she was quite unlikable & made the impression that it was more about making money than giving great care, I will not be returning and I advise anyone to use caution when dealing with Shoreline Dental in Milford Connecticut! (Please take the time to check Shoreline Dental's reviews on Google as well there are quite a few with One star and people complaining about the Care that they received)!! Every single staff member I talked to yesterday was wonderful and genuinely cared that you walked through the doors and felt comfortable and welcomed. The office looks brand new and is sparkling clean. I did my teeth cleaning - where they had TVs in each of the patient corners- even one on the ceiling - which I thought was a really fun touch. When Dr Jason came in to check on me he found not one, but two cavities - the first ever in my life! He has an opening pretty soon after so I stayed and he took care of them 15 minutes tops. I walked out the door with a smile and a great swag bag of Shoreline Dental merch. This place is the real deal from top to bottom. The orthodontic work that Dr. Feinberg completes is the most advanced and state of the art. He creates a personal plan for each individual patient outlining their course of treatment. Aside from a bad cosmetic result, this left me unable to bite an apple, or a piece of pizza or a sandwich, etc. Everything just folds up under the front overjet. Salad tends to escape as you eat - very embarrassing. The dentist had also ground down a crown, leaving me with an upper tooth that needs to be raised with screws in my jaw, and a tendency to bite the inside of my cheek on that side. Dr. Feinberg is a great orthodontist. He is very professional, his staff is great, his office is modern and immaculate. He explains everything with a great deal of patience and professionalism. He has a lot of experience with Invisalign cases gone wrong ! He also has a wonderful reputation among his peers, which says a lot. I had gone for a second opinion on the advice of a friend who is also a Dentist and Dr. Bilous in Fairfield, another great orthodontist, assured me that his plan was exactly what was needed. She also see a lot of Invisalign cases gone wrong. The lesson is no one should be going to a dentist, even if they call themselves a cosmetic dentist, to have teeth moved. Fast forward to Dr. Long expanding his practice and moving to the Old Saybrook office and Dr. Martinez taking over the Milford practice... Dr. Martinez is as caring a person as he is a magnificent doctor. Despite insurance limitations, Dr. Martinez worked with me to achieve my goals, attempting to save a tooth most other dentists would've simply extracted and looking at both long term and short term advantages to particular treatments. He made me part of my treatment plan and I never felt I had to do anything I was unsure of. When my father died, I needed to fly across the country for the memorial service. The day before I had to leave, I broke a tooth and called Dr. Martinez. Even though the office was closed, he quickly called me back and worked out a mutually beneficial time to see me. He came in on a Sunday morning at 6AM to fix my tooth before I had to get on the plane. The procedure took almost 2.5 hours and he had plans with his (then) pregnant wife for later that morning. His wife came to the office when he was finishing up to pick him up and had nothing but kind and sympathetic words for my loss. He never charged me a dime for that visit. Whenever I've had an issue where the out-of-pocket charge is more than I can afford, he puts payment on the back burner to ensure that I am healthy and comfortable. Dr. Martinez is a dentist who is a caring human being first. He has a way of helping his patients achieve what they don't think is possible in terms of care. He doesn't allow insurance to dictate treatments (he'll save a tooth instead of extracting it even if the insurance would indicate extraction as the recommended course) and works with patients on payment - both in terms of the total owed and allowing payments to be made on the patient's ability to pay. Recently I learned that Dr. Martinez is working from Life Long's Tolland office. Despite the fact that it is an hour's drive for me (instead of the 5 minutes between my house and his Milford office), I will be making the road trip because there is no one I trust more with my dental care than Dr. Martinez. During a routine visit, they performed X-rays without informing that the procedure exceeded my insurance's frequency limits, leading to an unexpected out-of-pocket bill. When I brought this to the manager's (Andrew) attention, the office manager completely refused to take responsibility or work toward a reasonable compromise, despite failing to inform me of the non-covered costs prior to performing the service. Patients deserve full informed consent--including clear communication about out-of-pocket costs before non-emergency procedures are done. I will not be returning and strongly advise future patients to double-check every service themselves before agreeing to treatment here, as this office will not disclose unexpected costs upfront.

I went there in January and I must say the office is extremely clean....open...and well lit. My hygenist Aleesia couldn't of been nicer. It was like I'd known her forever. And truthfully it had been probably over 15 years since I had my teeth cleaned and I'm really not a dentist person cause I don't like someone working in my mouth. But the way this lady works is very comfortable. I could not believe all the X-rays she did of my teeth. I said to her would you like my autograph too? Heh heh heh...she thought that was funny. The doctor.....Doctor Sran came in to look at my x-rays and he said how old are you I said 52. He said you don't have one cavity in your mouth....he said it's amazing. He wanted to do a deep cleaning which they do it in 4 quadrants but I couldn't afford that. It would have been $250 a quadrant x 4= $1000 and I wasn't able to afford anything like that. The cleaning Aleesia did was amazing. It was like I had new teeth. All the staining and tartar was gone and I've actually had a couple people say how white my teeth looked. She did a regular cleaning then buffing them and I was over the moon how my teeth came out . If I could give this place 11 stars I would. If you live in the Stratford area and you need a good dentist....go to them and say Troy Leong told you to call. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
