Very cute neighborhood coffee shop. Stopped by for a cup of coffee and sat outside on their outdoor seating. $5ish dollars for a 16oz latte. Plenty of other things on the menu for breakfast and lunch. Support local business!

She did enjoy her pup cup tho!

I was so excited to finally try R Coffee house... I have lived in Riverside for two years now and walk my dogs by almost every afternoon. Unfortunately it is usually when it is closed. This morning we finally made it. I brought my little Corgi with me who is very well behaved. I stopped outside and asked the patrons outside if dogs were allowed inside to order. They unanimously said yes!! I was excited so I brought my little puppet in with me as the add does say pet friendly. Once inside the coffee house smelled amazing! Both my dog and I were ready for a little treat from our 2 mile walk in. I was greeted and asked for whipped cream in a cup and iced sugar free vanilla latte. The gentleman waiting on me went to look for more whipped cream. Meanwhile another woman came to the register to inform me they have a walk up window to order when you have pets. I said oh, I'm so sorry I didn't know! I asked the patrons outside and they said they bring their dogs in all the time. She just stared at me... so I said next time I will absolutely use the walk up window. I finished my purchase, left an 18% tip and walked out. While the exchange was not rude, the patron directly behind me also had a dog and nothing was said to her which appeared to be a regular since one of the other called to the dog by name... I wanted so badly to have a fun little place to kick back, read a book, and sip some coffee with my dog outside with me... it's a shame there was no sign or anything to indicate the walk up window for pet parents. I wish you the best R coffee house... but do better...

The art here is amazing! Wish I brought more money :/

Beautiful coffee shop at a beautiful location! I ordered the Mayan, which includes cinnamon and cayenne pepper! It was very delicious and a great pick me up. The service was great! The gentleman who made our coffee was cool with answering our questions. I recommend bringing cash if you're interested in buying some of the amazing art they have for sale from some local artists. There's also a smoothie and CBD place right next door if you're interested.

Fantastic little neighborhood coffee shop! I've lived here my whole life and didn't know it existed. Great place to spend your morning outside with some good coffee!

This coffee house is located conveniently close to our house. I love to swing by here before i run my errands. The coffees that I've tried are the Ying Yang, Funky Monkey, The Mayan (has cayenne pepper so a little spicy and delicious!), and the Mexican. All of which I love. So flavorful. Thankful for this little diamond in Riverside.

First time here, but I thought I'd do a quick review. My 3 star rating is a little lower than most reviews for this place, but hopefully you'll understand why. First off, positives: I love the location and vibe you get outside, pretty chill, very eclectic-hip-Wichita if you know what I mean. I got just a regular house cup of coffee so I cannot comment on espresso drinks, but it's very regular, nothing good nothing bad about it. Second, the negatives :( Unlike the outdoor vibe, the indoor vibe is pretty disappointing to be honest. I was hoping for a bright and hip environment, but was met with a pretty dark and dead vibe the tables are organized like any other restaurant with loads more tables and seating than the place could ever need. And then the carpet is dark maroon and the lack of a lot of indoor lighting results in a pretty drab place. This is my main complaint for this place. Easy place for them to improve: More knowledgable baristas! When getting my coffee I asked what kind of blend and stuff the beans were from, but the only answer I got was "uhhhh we normally order from PT's." It's great that the coffee is relatively local, but I know that they have access to where the beans came from, the tasting notes, etc. Thats what I want to hear if I am asking what the coffee is like. Anyways, worth a stop if it's a nice day to sit outside.

I told them to surprise me, wow !! Amazing

This is such an amazing place, with a cool retro vibe. The food is amazingly delicious and the coffee is great but what brings this all together is the people. Truly a one of a kind place.

Good vibes! My girlfriend really enjoys the place. Great costumer service. Would recommend to any coffee lover!

This was an excellent coffee shop I loved the vanilla latte I had and I also enjoyed the breakfast tacos. The breakfast tacos were crafted with fresh spinach leaves, eggs, and bacon with a sprinkle of cheese and salsa on a warm and soft corn tortilla. The vanilla latte was also excellent, it was warm but not too hot and the vanilla flavor was subtle and not overpowering. Definitely would highly recommend!!

Great little coffee house. Hanging out here for some great coffee and good conversation.

Great coffee house by the river. Has great coffee and pie. People are super nice and the atmosphere is great.

I absolutely love the creative cultural experience that R coffee House is creating. They not only include artists of color but they take one day out of the week to cater to the vegan community in ICT! The owner and his family are a gem and always so welcoming! On top of that i have never had a dessert, meal or coffee that I didn't like. I will be frequenting here all summer for live music and Frappuccinos

There was a ton of tables to sit and relax at which I always enjoy. I ordered a Nutella cronut and a regular iced matcha. The cronut was delicious! Perfect amount of sweet. I will say it would have been nice to offer to warm it up but it was still yummy. Then, the lady working the counter called out my iced matcha and I immediately knew just from looking at this drink that it's not matcha. I sat and took two sips from it and it was straight up sugary milk... not a single ounce of matcha was put into this drink. It was almost $7 for this drink by the way. I'm not sure why they would hand this to me or why they call this matcha but that was a joke... I finished my cronut and then went to her for a refund on the drink. She didn't ask any questions, didn't apologize or ask what they could do differently... just gave me a refund and had her throw it away. Based on my experience, I will not be coming back.

My second rule is if it's an ice cream shop or a bakery or a breakfast / lunch spot.... the score goes down because the coffee is usually and afterthought. Well this place broke all of the rules.... BOTH THE BAKERY IS EPIC AND THE COFFEE IS EVEN BETTER! The only thing I didn't like is there is just so much pride stuff. I get it - I'm from the FL keys which used to be one of the main places for LGBT communities (back in the day it was only LGBT). Key West / San Fran and Province Town - those were the only true open communities. But now it's nationwide and it's actually world wide for the most part. From my viewpoints LGB is 100% just part of society and we don't have much flag waiving in the keys because nobody cares - we are all just one big family. It didn't take away from the expense it was just a little too forward.

It's not a knock on the city, it's just that it's a 9 hour drive from Houston! I found this gem on a recent road trip through the Midwest. I was making a drive from Dallas and used ChatGPT to find me the best coffee between Dallas and Abilene, KS. Reverie Coffee Roasters popped up and Yelp reviews looked favorable so I plugged it into the GPS. I don't know the area, but it seemed to be located in their downtown area right off the interstate. I found street parking right out front and unsure if they have a dedicated lot. This place was alot bigger than I expected. Walking in is like a storefront with coffee and merch for sale, as well as where you order. Then they have a huge dining area with lots of seating as well as a patio out back. It looks like a perfect place to catch up with your peeps, read a good book or study. It was busy so the staff was straight business but in a polite and helpful way. They started off as a wholesale coffee roaster. They source their coffee from all around the world. On my visit, I saw coffees from Columbia, Guatemala, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Nicaragua. They also offer every type of brewing method like pour over, drip, chemex, cold brew, French press, etc. The fact that they do all that different sourcing and preparation methods shows me they care about putting out a superior product. My original plan was to grab a cup of joe and keep it moving to my destination, but after walking in and seeing they had nice looking pastries, I decided to get my order and enjoy it there. I love all things s'mores and saw they have a s'mores latte. I had to get it. Another weakness of mine is cinnamon rolls. I saw it on display and had to have it. They heat it up before serving it. I was able to find a cozy corner of the restaurant. My order got called shortly after. The latte was amazing. I could taste the little nuances of a s'more. They even topped the drink with a marshmallow drizzle. I savored that drink. Now let me sing the praise of that cinnamon roll. Hands down the best cinnamon roll I've had. This was a brioche cinnamon roll. They heated it up just right and the icing was just gooey enough without running off the roll. It was soft and oh so delectable. The sweet icing didn't mask the delicious buttery brioche either. Bite of that, then sip of the coffee was a match made in heaven. I had no intention of finishing this generous portion, but I simply could not let it go to waste either. Needless to say, I was on the struggle bus driving on to my next destination. If somehow I could replicate this place and put one in Houston, I would be the happiest man. I will most definitely come back through next time I drive through Wichita!
