My entire time living on Long Island, I have always seen the Mike and Marco's trucks and signs. Their reputation is outstanding, but I always heard they were so expensive (BIG MISCONCEPTION). I invited Mike to our home to make a proposal, as I understood you pay for the best. I wanted someone who could do everything including the landscape design, Pavers, Blacktop, sprinklers etc. WOW, was I wrong on one point, Mike 's proposal came in EXTREMLY reasonable compared to the other vendors and the value for someone with his expertise and reputation could not be beat. After extensive design meetings and brainstorming with Mike, we selected a design that would transform our home into a showpiece that we love pulling up to everyday! We have had an unbelievable and successful experience with Mike and Marco's and the entire team. Mike and his team were always on time, meticulous and extremely talented. Their attention to detail and patience with me and my specific questions and demands were spectacular. Everyone on the team had a very apparent dedication to hard work and perfection. They were especially diligent in making sure every aspect of the project was completed on-time and with an extreme commitment to excellence. Mike and Camille (who I called and texted often) were problem solvers who were ALWAYS available day or night with a solution. Often Mike had an answer before I knew there was even a question to ask. Both Mike and Camille responded to my numerous emails, texts and calls immediately every time I had a new idea, annoying "suggestion" or "to-do list" that I thought of in the middle of the night! The quality of the work, craftsmanship and attention to detail was amazing at every stage of the project! In addition, it is so apparent that Mike ALWAYS stands behind the quality of their work. BULL***T! Nothing could be futher from the truth. Not only did I pay him every penny (have all the venmo receipts to prove it), but I am the one to had to chase him to catch up. Cleanup was a 2-part job, weeks apart. Rather than paying 50% each time, he asked that when I paid for the first half, that I advance money toward the 2nd half. Then, he didn't want to do the work. His behavior was very erratic the entire time. That combined with desperation for money makes me suspect a drug problem. As for all the sudden 5-star reviews: As of today, there are ones such as someone from Buffalo, NY with 3 reviews. After dealing with a hard to navigate website and having to email for guidance twice I was finally able to get a quote. Then I was emailed and told that they had to drive by my home to see it because it is new and not on Google maps street view. This resulted in a higher quote. I accepted this. They failed to show up when scheduled and instead I got an email suggesting I change to weekly service for "efficiency ". When I didn't reply same day I got a follow up email suggesting I try someone else. Don't recommend.

When they showed up for the estimate, they took pictures of all the work that was needed and as I pointed out things that I thought someone else would be needed, they said they could handle that too. Their estimate was very fair so I hired them right away. They came early, notifying me of their arrival beforehand and got to work right away. They took a hopeless yard that looked like a jungle and turned it into a yard that I hadn't seen since I moved into my house. The right side of the house, if you look at the pictures, was horrible. Now it's perfect! Not seen in the pictures is the left side of the house, where weeds were coming up through the concrete tiles, those are now all gone! My backyard patio also had bad weeds coming up and now you don't even notice anything bad was there. They are such great people too - fun to talk to and nice people. I decided to hire them to do maintenance on an ongoing basis because of how happy I am with their work.
