The are horrible about updating their inventory - even if you look online, that's not a guarantee. So, unless you know the secret, you choices are limited. Did I mention their poor and uninviting customer service? BTW, there's a room full of people who never move, no matter how many customers there are. Go by and say HI to the land manatees! Hobbs weed scene is lame. Save your money and go to the PVP in Artesia.

You'll notice right away the clean white bricks on the outside. Ample, free parking is available. As soon as you walk in, there is an old-fashioned coin-operated kiddie ride horse. It's adorable. Then there's the polished wood floor. The high ceilings. The uber organized sections for men, women, and children. Multiple dressing rooms. My favorite area is probably hats. There is an attendant specially for that section to get your new hat fitted, shaped, and on your way to the upcoming fair & rodeo in Lea County. I was greeted at the store, but was slightly disappointed at the lack of customer service thereafter. Nonetheless, I will be back for some new jeans. They also sell jewelry, belts, cowboy wallets, coolers, tumblers, and more. Roy Rogers sang, "Let me ride through the wild open country that I love / Don't fence me in." Do it in style too... I shamefully admit I have been here since they renovated last year (2024). It's bigger, better, and addictively charming. My daughters chose a freshie (car air freshener) for their dad. He's going to love it. Their selections of freshies is vast. Almost overwhelming, but you're welcome to open the zip-locked bags and smell the various scents. We picked up some Valentine goodies also. The young lady working solo at the register on 1.20.2025 was very professional and welcoming. TIP They offered 20% off everything that day - something I wouldn't know if I didn't "follow" them on Facebook. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Moments later another amiable employee asked me if I needed any help. She guided me towards the girls' jeans section. This store has mostly Western wear and "workin' man" gear. I'm happy to report that there were some good options here - a bit on the pricey side - but because of the friendly service and mostly clean and well-kempt place, I'll return. They're open 7 days a week and accept cash or plastic.

I was so excited to learn that the owner of the previous business still owns this building and has really cool stuff still. These are vintage items, not antiques. I'm vintage. Or so I like to tell my kids since I was "borns in the 1900s." Bruh. *face palm* They had cookies & lemonade for us to enjoy while we perused the multiple small rooms of items. She has some women's clothing, jewelry, tumblers, and so much more. Adorable shop! Very affordable prices! Support local businesses. Music World is one of my favorite small business in Hobbs still!…read more Back on 8.7.2025 I came into purchase my daughter's new trombone cleaning kit. Because she's part of her school's band, they had a special. The discount took off $15.95. The cleaning kit (and a folding music stand included free) came out to $31.99. My other daughter has been taking private guitar lessons in their small practice room since May 2025. We are gracious for their support and so glad they don't get made when her lesson goes a minute or two over time (which is closing time). Huge fan.
