LOCATION/AMBIANCE Currently they are located to the left when you walk inside Cherry Berry. They are working on a possible drive-thru location. THE GRUB From the Holiday menu, I tried their Peppermint Bark Latte ($6) on 12/8/22. It was the weakest coffee I've ever had and tasted nothing like peppermint bark. Not very sweet with a slight aftertaste. From their January 2023 menu tried the white chocolate mocha latte ($7.10 cash not including tip). Again, their coffee is on the weaker side. Also again, not very sweet with a slight aftertaste. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUB No kid's menu to my recollection. I'll keep you posted on how my kiddos like the pickle lemonade. I stopped by on Sunday morning, October 20, 2024, after checking on my brother's dogs because I needed a hock of ham. The staff members were friendly but only spoke to me after I initiated conversation. Sadly, they didn't have any hocks for my simmering pinto beans. I'm still not certain the guy behind the counter knew what I was inquiring. Lol. The place is brand new. Offers menudo on the weekends. Sells groceries including fresh veggies. The meats looked good. The only issue I had was with the Pine-sol-like smell fumigating my nostril hairs as soon as I walked in. Had I known they were mopping at that hour, I wouldn't have went in. Ample parking spots in a shared plaza lot.

I'm perturbed for several reasons: 1) they rang up a bag of apples to be $4.79 when it was supposed to be $1.99. After quite a wait, that was price checked and changed for me. Cool. 2) got home & noticed the cilantro & the 3 limes ($1) I bought & paid for didn't make it into our bags. I need it for dinner tonight. The staff bagged our groceries for us. So frustrating because it was $1.99 for a relatively small bundle, but I wanted to support La Tienda. 3) flies everywhere! 4) dusty goods! The can of beans I bought was covered in dust as was the others. Could these last two reasons be because the two front doors were propped open? Will be a while before I come back even though I'm in this vicinity at least once per week. My 11-year-old daughter loved this store and how organized it was. She ain't paying the bills, though. The drink menu here is enormous and they have specials here too depending on season it seems like. Just see my pictures. There's an almost limitless amount of combinations they do with Red Bull! I didn't taste the pastries but they looked phenomenal. I ordered a dirty Chai and it was very well made with a good level of sweetness. I will definitely come back here during another work trip!

Dulceria Cosmos is a brand new Mexican candy store in Hobbs, New Mexico…read more Their grand opening was February 1, 2024. Their daily hours are from 10:30AM-8PM. When my daughter and I walked in on the afternoon of 2/10/2024, we were not welcomed. None of the 3 employees smiled at us. No music was playing. We were never asked if we needed help. Then two groups walked in after us and were quickly greeted and music was turned on. It really ticked me off. Then my daughter started picking out candy and showing me. One employee followed us and watched us like a hawk. It was very uncomfortable. I told my daughter to put the candy back because I didn't feel welcome there & we walked out. The candies were mostly of the Mexican variety and in bulk packaging. Most likely unbeknownst to them, I grew up eating much of the items they sold, but I have no problem walking out when I am not welcome. There weren't many supplies except some party favors, piñatas, and balloons. This is a brand new store so it was very clean with ample parking in a plaza lot. According to their Facebook page, a snack bar con elote en vaso, fresas con crema, y elote entero is "coming soon." Hope you receive better service than we did.
