Instead of a quote or price range via Yelp, Thomas Edison Electric charged a $125 dispatch fee to come out and give a quote. Yes, it was disclosed before coming out; but after speaking with them over the phone, we had no idea their estimate would be nearly (3) three times more than what the common estimate was compared to (4) four other bids! Needless to say, we moved on to another company. I would not recommend scheduling for a quote, they are significantly overpriced, and in my opinion, it's not worth the risk of wasting time and paying $125 for no work performed.
