This should be a 3.5 but Yelp won't allow it, so I am rounding it up…read more I ate here with my son. We shared the Fritto Misto appetizer. It was quite good, although I think it could have had a bit more shrimp and calamari. My son had the ribeye with mushrooms, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked as ordered, and the mashed potatoes were very good. I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich which was pretty average. The staff, from the hostess to the waiter, were all great. Service was good. This is a sports bar/restaurant. It's a good place to come for a steak or a burger or....Not necessarily the best meal you will ever eat, but good steaks and other food, a good selection of drinks, and a nice place to pass a few hours and watch a game.

It has open floorplan surrounded by TV's mounted all around the high ceilings. In the center there is a very nice island bar and low lighting above tables and booths surrounding it. Once seated our waiter came fairly quickly and asked if he could get us started on anything. Being that we came on a weekend evening, we were pleasantly surprised at the quick service. We decided to start with the Pickle fries. For our entrée, my husband ordered the Wagyu burger and avocado & onion rings to his burger. I opted for the Napasort burger with fries. After ordering, I decided to use the restroom and found that it was in a very awkward place. You have to walk down a very long hallway, with minimal lighting, passing a glass room with patrons. I definitely did not feel comfortable and decided to not use the restroom again the rest of the visit. Once the food arrived, everything looked great. The pickle fries were okay, but I think would of been better, maybe cut as slices? My burger was very good and I could barely finish that and the fries. My husband like his burger and said he can't wait to come back and try other dishes. He also loved his beer, Lost Coast IPA. Our waiter was very attentive, all the employees were nice and the food was good. We definitely want to come back if in the area in the future.

Friendly hostess. We were seated in their large, main floor open dining room. They also have a balcony and outdoor patio for dining. The magic happens in their open kitchen that is fun to watch and adds a cool element to your dining experience. Both the sommelier, Tavo, and the server, Jared, greeted us and assisted us with opening our wine that we brought to share with our friends. We started our meal with the grilled shrimp cocktail (5/5) and the crab cocktail (5/5) for the table to share. Both were fresh and delicious. Most of our table ordered steaks, I ordered the long boned pork chop (5/5), with a green peppercorn sauce. The chop was cooked to the right temperature and was clearly brined, as it was moist, tender, and had great char. We order corn, fries, and lobster Mac & Cheese for the table to share. Everyone loved their steaks and we nearly polished off all the sides. My only comment to our super tasty meal is the large baked potato ordered by one of my friends was baked way too long and was overcooked. It had been years since I had dinner last at Cole's. The food and service team are top notch as I remembered. It's definitely still the best steakhouse in Napa. I highly recommend.

We celebrated our anniversary here, and the staff took the time to give us a postcard with a small handwritten note, and at the end they surprised us with dessert, which was a very thoughtful touch and truly appreciated. The amount of food for the price was laughable. $37 for a plate of food that was 80% french fries that appeared to come out of a freezer bag. As for the half of beet salad, which I didn't eat, but was charged $11 for and consisted of about a cup and a half of food, had small cubes of beets that tasted like they came from a can. I was hoping, for the price, that the beets would have been local quality and roasted. The Ruben sandwich my mom picked at seemed okay. Just a lackluster sandwich that appeared to be the same quality of Dennys. The $80 meal (not including tip) definitely was not the caliber I expected from your restaurant and I don't plan to return. The service was wonderful and that was why I tipped. The service staff should not be consequenced because the food was in shambles.

However, we need to talk about the pre-show hostage situation. I brought my 5-year-old to see Toy Story 5. The ticket said 11:40 AM. The movie actually started at 12:06 PM. That is 26 minutes of commercials and trailers. It is blindingly obvious that whoever programs this theater either does not have children, or actively harbors a vendetta against parents. Do you know what 26 minutes feels like to a 5-year-old who has already consumed half a bag of overpriced popcorn? It is an eternity. It is the length of an entire episode of Bluey. I watched my child age two years, cycle through the five stages of grief, and nearly de-evolve into a feral state before Buzz Lightyear finally graced the screen. Cinema executives constantly wring their hands in the media, crying, "Why are theaters dying? Why is streaming killing us?" Allow me to solve the mystery: We are paying premium ticket and concession prices just to be forced to sit through a half-hour infomercial marathon before the product we actually paid for begins. If I wanted to pay top dollar to sit in a dimly lit room and wait for half an hour for something to happen, I'd go to the DMV. Clean place, sweet people, but next time, I think we'll just stay on the couch.

Juan was our server, and even at the tail end of his shift he was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The restaurant is stunning--soft lighting, elegant details, and that effortless date-night atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The cocktail, bright and lemon-kissed like a perfectly balanced lemon drop, tied the whole meal together. Charlie Palmer's remains one of my top steakhouse favorites--and nights like this are exactly why.

With VIP everything felt easier to navigate to, even in the mass crowds of people that can't tell their right from left. Food and drinks were wildly overpriced (as all festivals/concerts do)- but you'd hope consideration would be taken for full day (multi-day at that) festivals. Water stations were available to fill your bottle and shade was readily available in VIP, but I noticed little if any for GA. This was my first time at Bottlerock and while I really liked the artists I saw, the sound check crew seemed to need a massive overhaul Saturday and Sunday. I went to one show on the Culinary Stage but screen production was all over the place so you couldn't really see what was going on with the chefs/artists unless you were right in it. Bush played for over 20mins on the VIP Stage with muffled, quiet vocals before they could finally figure it out- and then it was the same for Kool & The Gang's start on Prudential. Music festivals, at the end of the day, are a great opportunity to experience artists you didn't even know you needed to know- so I'll be back- even with the chaos!
