In February we went to the store in Austintown, met Bob and his son and finalized the deal on an $8200.00 pool and heater. As promised, the guys came to dig and the pool went in without a hitch by May 20th. The crews were professional and personable. As soon as the pool was finished we noticed water collecting around the heater and the pool level dropping an inch every two days. Worried about a leak, I texted Bob several times with no answer. Finally, he texted someone would come out the next day (2 weeks ago) Nobody has showed. I texted a couple more times because Bob never answers his phone....no replies. I called and left a message asking him to call...NO RESPONSE !! He was responsive right up until we paid him the last $6,200.00. Now he is nowhere to be found. Piss poor follow up! I think I found my leak (a loose fitting behind the heater) so don't need him now. He is contracted to come close our pool this fall but he is not welcome here...I no longer trust him.

I bought a heater from them 9 months ago. After installation it started making noises. Called…read moreservice and was someone would come out and look at it. No one ever showed up. Find out on my own what the problem was. Then it had water coming out of the side of the heater. Called and text service. It's been 2 weeks and no response from them. So I looked at it on my own and found a broken drain plug. Found out that Paypak has been having problems with the drain plug breaking and is covered under warranty. I went to Barnett's and told them what I found and needed the drain plug replaced. They told me it was my fault it broke and that Raypak was not having any problems with the plug. It cost me $27.50 for a new plug that should have been covered under the warranty. I will never deal with Burnetts again. They all so love to sell you chemicals. And I all so found right down the road is a pool store called Leslie's that are great to work with and aren't trying to sell you every chemical in the store. I gave them a one because you have to give it a rating or it would be a 0.
