Had a plumber out and took him longer than I'd expect, plus he said he had to reset our toilet in the master bath. Said he couldn't get his snake to make the bend. Long story short, couple months down the road, drains are backing up again. This time I went under the house to check where the blockage was. The drains should have never passed inspection when the house was first built but they've worked for 20 years prior to use buying it 3 years ago. I pulled the clean out plug after draining the main line and looked towards the turn to the lateral that exits the foundation to the septic tank. I could see the end of the plumbers snake broken off at the 90. I ended up cutting out a 10' section after the 90 and found that the plumber hadn't even cleared the worst of the obstruction. Had one of their managers come out to look at the job and he confirmed the snake head was one of theirs. Saw what I cleared out to make my drains work again and verified the tech should have scoped to verify all was clear and didn't....all of this we were charged $1000 for crap work. Asked him to give me a price on fixing a couple of problems with the drains that shouldn't have ever passed the building inspection, let alone the inspection we had when we bought the home. He said they would knock off the labor as the job their plumber had done was not up to their expectations. Yeah sorry guys....I'm not going to give you another $1000 for something I'm going to do for $150. Got a call from a gal at their office on the 7th of October asking if I had looked at their proposal? I laughed and said "the guy that came out and said they had done a piss poor job said they'd just charge me for materials, as the work performed before wasn't good at all". I told her I'd rather right this review than pay you guys another dime to tip me off. She said that the manager/head guy would get in touch with me the next week as he was out of town this week. I said fine, I'll wait for his call.... Again, that call was the 7th of October...it's now the 10th of November and not a word. I've been busy and my drains are working as best they can so I waited. Done waiting and here is my review.... I would hire these guys ever again..burn me once shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me. At the time, I was explicitly told that everything would be fully covered and that I would owe nothing out of pocket. Fast forward to December 18th -- one week before Christmas -- I receive a call stating that I now owe $1,000 for a deductible. This is the first time I was ever informed of this. There were no prior calls, emails, or written communication explaining that I would be responsible for any deductible. The explanation I was given was that the insurance company initially told them everything would be covered, and after I signed the paperwork, they later changed course -- yet no one thought to notify me. That is an unacceptable failure in communication and customer service. To make matters worse, the representative I spoke with showed poor communication skills and offered no accountability or meaningful resolution. Springing a $1,000 charge on a customer months later, right before the holidays, due to internal miscommunication is completely unprofessional. This company does not communicate clearly and does not protect its customers. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company and taking your business elsewhere.

Quick response: I called and they answered and were able to set up an appointment the following day. 2. Timeliness: Preston actually arrived between 12-1pm like he said he was. 3. He came and took a look and offered his time and expertise to answer some of our mold questions. 4. He said our problem was small. Unfortunately, they only do tear out and drying, (which we were going to do ourselves) but not replace the sheet rock. 5. If we ever have a situation we're we needed some serious drying power or tear out, I will definitely remember IRS/Independent Restoration Services and give them a call.

We haven't had any water issues in our home, so I got a referral from family. 24 hour Flood Fighters were at our house within the hour. They were very pleasant and gave an assessment based on initial appearance, a then discovered it was minor by comparison. They cut open the affected area, set up dehumidifiers and were done for the day an hour later. The dehumidifiers were removed yesterday. This family run business is great, very accommodating and trustworthy. I highly recommend them for your restoration jobs and would call them again for any future issues we may have.

Plus, I had my entire family coming over for from Memphis for turkey. It was quite the emergency and I had no idea what to do, luckily the company Nashville water damage flood repair came right out that day the same day and began their water extraction Clean Up Services and talkinh to my home warranty company and got everything squared away with all of the insurance stuff it took a couple days but they were able to get the house back in order which was such a relief because I was really sweating having family coming into town and not being able to feed them or needing to stay at the hotel or something. But problem avoided, this company's hard work and desire to help me when I really let them know how much it would make a difference and it really made a difference for me during the holidays to be close to my family and have the whole thing go off without a hitch.
