Wouldn't recommend.

Bruce confirmed his availability for install beginning in late October at that time and we coordinated via email as that time approached. Bruce and his team do very great, thorough work. They were all very friendly and trustworthy. We are very pleased with our deck replacements and the dry rot pieces they both identified and replaced on our front support columns. Bruce also hung up our new address numbers for us at the conclusion of the project, which was a big help for us! We did not receive an invoice until the very end of the project (after 3 of 4 payments were made), but did receive one nonetheless. Despite this, we don't have any concern about Bruce and his team coming out to repair anything that should arise. Though, we don't expect that to happen based on the quality work they provided. Their focus is on their craft, not the administrative pieces of the business. I highly recommend Shaffer & Sons and will keep Bruce's contact information should we, our friends, or family members require any work completed in the future.

They came out to talk thru the project and discussed options but no hard sell (which I appreciate). They assign a project manager (Blake in my case) to coordinate and keep things on schedule. However, the heroes of the project were Michael + Jonathan who built our fence. The took out the prior fence and checked in with our 96 yr old neighbor that we share the fence with to make sure he approved. He did! The walked me thru the finished fence and even added a "puppy protector" mini fence to keep our dog contained. They were super respectful, kind and FAST. It looks great and with the great warranty, we couldn't be happier.

They did beautiful work on the fence, paid attention to the details, and clearly took pride in what they were doing. I especially appreciated how pleasant and considerate they all were throughout the project. Having people working around your home for several days can sometimes feel disruptive, but they made the whole experience incredibly easy and comfortable. I was actually a little sad to see them go when the job was finished! The fence looks wonderful, and I couldn't be happier with both the work and the people who did it. A huge thank you to Joey, Tim, Timotey, and Tyler. I would happily recommend this crew to anyone.

Since it is a large deck on a on a slope, we knew it was not something we could do ourselves. After listening to our hopes and ideas, they developed a couple concepts for us to consider before we settled on a plan. After we agreed on the concept Victor and John came and gave us their appraisal and bid in a very timely manner. Although they had other projects before us, they began gathering materials and doing the new foundations for the new deck in early November. Although cost does enter the picture, they were fair in their understanding of our goals and needs and stayed on our agreed upon budget. Their requests for a deposit and funds along the way were reasonable. When we needed an additional week for the funds to come into our accounts as additional materials were ordered and delivered, they understood and continued the work. It was easy to communicate with them through person to person, phone calls, e-mails and/or texts. We decided to go with the Rocky Harbor Trex design and watched each day as the project progressed until it was done. Even with the November winds and rain, they showed up and worked throughout each day. Their work ethic and skills are second to none! When it was done, the new deck exceeded our expectations not only for the design, but also the stability, their professionalism, keeping us informed throughout the process, and their understanding of the many questions we had along the way. The photos below show the end product that we are looking forward to using more in the coming days. A definite 5 Star Review and recommendation!

Juan is a very professional businessman and he's old school cuz he believes the customer is right and wants to do what they ask him to do. Meaning he wants you to be happy with the work that his company does for you. The job I hired them for initially was some fences we needed replaced. Three different locations on our property at a total of about 230 feet of fencing demoed and rebuild with gates and painted by his ace painter, Ivan. We're really happy with his professional acumen, flexibility and willingness to get our business and make sure we are happy with the results. We are taking more bids for him as we have a lot more fences and painting to do at our community. Give Elite a try, I promise they will do their best to suit your needs within your budget. Cheers!

I had reached out to several fence contractors, but Juan responded immediately and gave me the answer I was looking for, which was an honest one: he couldn't tell me how much the job would cost without seeing it in person. I respect that. Juan came out punctually the next morning to give me an estimate. He immediately pointed out a couple of reasons why our decrepit gate and fence was failing and offered two solutions that would ensure that the replacements were durable and functional. He offered fair pricing which included hauling away the old materials. Within a couple of hours he had emailed a professional and clear estimate. Two days later, Juan and his crew arrived a few minutes earlier than scheduled to get started on our project. Each team member was very professional, clean, and fast- they worked together so quietly it almost seemed as if they had an unspoken way of communicating with each other. This was really appreciated since the work was being done just outside of our home office where my husband was on several meetings that morning. When the project was done, my husband and I were very impressed with the quality of the work and materials. Juan had called me an hour after his crew left to ensure that we were satisfied with the job. I got an estimate from him for some more work we need to get done in the future, we'll definitely hire him again! If you want a reliable, experienced, and professional contractor to build, fix, or repair your fence call Juan. Each step of the way he was great at communicating with me via text, email, and phone. It's always great to have a contractor I enjoy working with to add to my contacts.

He was prompt and responsive answering questions while the project was out for bid. On the day that his team was scheduled to start, I received a phone call from his assistant about an hour after they were supposed to start. She told me that they had a key tool break the prior weekend and then added that their foreman suffered a heart attack two days prior. This job was scheduled to start on a Wednesday and they waited until one hour after the start time to call. His assistant told me that they could fit me in the next week and that I should call then to schedule. That said, on the following Monday and Tuesday I called Deck Rejuvenations and left a voicemail asking if they planned to do the job that week. I also emailed Bill on Tuesday evening. None of my inquiries were returned. My wife called Deck Rejuvenations Wednesday and Thursday and left messages. Bill's assistant finally returned my wife's call on that Friday after imploring that she return the call. Bill's assistant said that they didn't know when or if they could do the work and that they may call us. Fast forward a few more weeks and Bill wrote me an email saying that the season is over and asked if I would like to get on his schedule for Spring 2018. Given these events occurred prior to the job starting, why wait until the day of job to contact me? Why didn't Bill or his assistant return our phone calls and emails the following week? Like most people, I have a busy schedule and need to plan around contractors. Not returning phone calls is both disrespectful and bad business. I ended up doing the job myself, as I needed to protect a new railing that I had installed before the rains came. It would have been nice if he returned my phone calls and said that he couldn't complete the job, as nice weather was in short supply. Why would I want to do business with someone who treated me in this manner? Reputations take years to build and minutes to ruin. Don't bother with Deck Rejuvenations.
