We had Aloha Deck and Fence tear down an old deck and fence that was literally falling apart. We replaced it with a new deck and high fence. While the deck was not very large, it had some complexity including planning around a new hot tub. Jaime prepared our estimate and was the project manager. He quickly understood what we wanted and offered ideas over the course of the project. When not on site, he was available by phone at any time. Brian and Louie (spelling?) were with us for all 9 days of construction. I was very impressed by their craftmanship and willingness to work through the inevitable issues that come up. Other guys helped occasionally during the project and worked very hard. Overall, I would enthusiastically recommend Aloha! (In fact I've already given their information to my daughter-in-law.) The house we moved into had a lower area with a complicated wood retaining wall that was also planting boxes. This wall bordered three sides of the large lower yard. It had steps integrated into the wall as well as a hose bib, etc. The wall was 30 years old. It was rotted, bowing, and coming apart. I had 3 companies come out. They cringed at the complexity and said no thanks. I called Aloha. They told me that my project wasn't really what they do. But they said it would be a fun challenge. The bid was half what I expected. They built it better than it was originally. The stairs are terrific and better than before. The integrated hose connection is perfect. I cannot say enough about these folks. They will always be my go-to from now on!! Absolutely top notch. read more

We had two sections of rotting good neighbor fence to replace and chose Aloha over two others. The price was just a bit higher than lowest but a clean CCB and most of all good Yelp reviews closed it for us. Communication could have been slightly better but Kyle came through when we needed him to, and the crew led by Jose did great work, asked us questions when needed, responded to ours and left the area as neat or neater than I'd expect. Our neighbor and us used Aloha Fence and Deck for 360' of fence and a total of 5 gates. A third neighbor used them for a 30' section. WE WERE VERY PLEASED with our new fence. Price was competitive, work started on time and finished early. The crews were professional, tidy and knew what they were doing. We were having siding on our house replaced and painted at the same time and Aloha Fence crew coordinated work schedule with the other contractor. Could not be happier with Aloha Fence and Deck. Being new home owners we have had to deal with several companies over the past 6 months. AF&D has been the most professional and easiest to deal with by far. Their quote was the best for what we wanted. They called a few days before the scheduled date and said they could do it sooner if we liked. They built us a great little fence and gate for our front yard and added an insert I had for no extra cost. A few months later the post attached to the house seemed to be loosening. Called them and within a couple days it was fixed. Jim came out to fix the problem and sealed a couple cracks in our siding from the post. He even went out of his way to match and buy paint to paint where he sealed the cracks. Then left us the rest of the paint. This guy is awesome.
