I was truly surprised and impressed to have discovered this amazing dental practice. I have been a client for the past year. I rate the, (personalized care, quality and treatment) 10 out of 10! From the moment you step foot into the office, you will feel at home. It's def not your typical dental office vibe when it comes to the look and feel. The dentists, dental technicians, hygienists and front office staff will make you feel at ease, welcomed and treat you as family. They go above and beyond, it's a true hospitality experience. I was initially skeptical to see a business with a 5-star rating, but nevertheless, I thought I'd try this dental office out. Let me start by saying that this is the BEST dental office I have ever been to! I am SO glad I listened to other reviewers. I am going to break things down by category in case there are areas of importance that matter most to others. ATMOSPHERE This place is stunning and very clean! The reception area is nice and has refreshments (La Croix waters, waters and coffee) to sustain you (and your nerves) while you wait. Once you go back to the room where your cleaning/procedure takes place, you sit in an amazingly comfortable chair, you get special glasses to shield your eyes from the lights, you're given headphones and a remote to watch Netflix on a tv above your head (yep, on the ceiling) and you're offered a blanket or pillow for comfort. Come on, there's no beating that! STAFF The front desk staff, Heather and Robin are extremely nice and really down to earth. I've been to MANY dental and medical practices where the patient is either treated really rudely or dismissed altogether--not here! The front desk staff talks to you, they help calm your nerves with input on your procedures, they are knowledgeable about your visit, and they provide pricing options to help you coordinate care in a manageable way. Between unexpected vet visits and fertility treatments, the last few months have been costly and depleting, and I shared this and felt understood and empathized with. The dentist (I can't recall her name) was very knowledgeable and thorough and communicated effectively which areas required attention. She even coordinated a phased plan for treatment to help me break up all the dental work I would be taking on. I cannot say enough amazing things about Oscar! I believe he is a dental hygienist or more advanced, but not quite sure of dental titles. He performed my four-hour gum cleaning over the course of two days and was very nice, personable and reassuring. I shared my fear of needles, mouth pain and just overall dental work, and he walked me through all the steps, was patient and genuine in answering my questions, and was thoughtful throughout the consultation all the way through the final deep clean. Oscar even made sure to repeat the steps to using my prescribed mouthwash, after my anxious brain decided it was too much information to hold onto after the first explanation.   EXPERIENCE I'm a nervous, anxious, introverted induvial overall, and I definitely felt comfortable here! As someone who has had TERRIBLE experiences at the dentist, I can truly say I was pleasantly surprised. If not for cleaning, I try to avoid the dentist at all costs. Upon entering the building to leaving, I was treated with respect, understanding and like a human. You are not treated like a 'number' or just another form of business. I hate to say this, but as a minority, I've grown use to lack of kindness and bad experiences and treatment. There isn't a lot of kindness to look forward to these days. Someone can easily say, "a business is supposed to make the customer happy," but not all businesses are achieving this. Smile Studio is! COST I want to say this location is affordable, but I also have insurance, so I can't say for sure. The amount I paid out of pocket with insurance for a two-day deep cleaning was reasonable. I wasn't jumping for joy, but I also wasn't going to home and eating ramen for the rest of the month either. I think the root canal will be the greater expense, but with insurance it will cost me much less than I've been quoted in the past. I have had dental offices attempt to nickel and dime you on quotes without even properly diagnosing you. Here, they give you a detailed breakdown of cost pre- and post-insurance, and it helps you see what you're saving. They even tell you how much insurance can be applied to which procedures for the year to make sure you're getting the most from your insurance plan. All-in-all, I never thought I'd say this about the dentist-- but I look forward to my next visit :). read more

This is my wife's yelp account. My name is Rick Gonzales. I scheduled an appointment to get a front tooth fixed. 2 days later after the initial call, smile studio scheduled me to be seen. Upon arrival, I seen a welcome sign with my name on it. The 2 receptionist were amazing with their customer service. They also laughed at my horrible jokes. The dental assistant was amazing as well and welcomed me. He was a younger gentlemen but I felt like he had been doing this for many years. The Dr came in and greeted me, explained the steps. The Dr was very thorough with her explanation as well as quality of work. The Dr also fixed a bottom tooth that was chipped. She made my two teeth look amazing. Best Dental Dr ever!! After my tooth was fixed, the assistant took more x rays and continued to help me. Last, I was seen by the hygienist. He cleaned my teeth. As he was cleaning we discussed life, sports, family etc.. Worst customer service two different times. I first called about if they took my Medicare insurance and was rudely greeted with We don't help poor people with that insurance. I called a 2nd time with insurance to set up an appointment. I showed up to the appointment to be told my appointment was canceled because they don't take my insurance. They said they texted me but never received anything. The woman at the front was rude about them canceling my appointment. Wow, it's called customer service. Beautiful office with polite, efficient staff helping me through the process. I've never been to such a technically advanced office. Online scheduling, online form completion if you prefer (which I do!), and appointment reminders In the office, all equipment is new, speedy, and comfortable, and there are a number of comfort-enhancing options for your care that are available (like headphones and Netflix, blankets, etc). I didn't take advantage of these, but there are numerous options on offer. Finally, this was new to me, so thought I should mention - they also provide both aesthetic and corrective Botox treatments. Smile Studio is without a doubt the best dental experience I have had anywhere, much less Denver. Dr. Gart and Dr. Sweis are professional and clear about anything that needs to be taken care of. I never felt in the dark about any cavities or other work I needed and didn't feel judged for my lack of daily flossing (I'm working on it I swear). Highly recommend to anyone, especially those who are nervous about the unknown of the dental-realm. It baffles me how this place has such good reviews because I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. DO NOT GO HERE. They do not tell you anything/ give you a care plan or a receipt that tells you what they are charging you; they tell you what you owe, and that's it. Brand new dental practice in South Central Park next door to a Starbucks that takes my dental insurance -- after feeling like there was always a rotating cast of dentists at my previous dentist's office, I had to try it out. I met both Drs. Gart & Sweis during my visit and they were knowledgable, kind, personable, and put me at ease. The office is brand new and well-designed with patient-facing television monitors for reviewing X-rays and images and a whole menu of comfort items including options for sedation. I'll be the first to admit that I am anxious about going to the dentist. However for the first time in my life I actually felt comfortable at the Dentist's office. Kyla was my hygienist and she was equal parts kind and knowledgeable. She went through everything that we were going to do and was able to answer the questions that I had for her. I then saw Dr Gart who gave me a comprehensive review of my X-Rays and what he saw in my mouth. He was professional and encouraging with what he saw and he gave me some good advice to help improve my dental hygiene.
