Before I shopped here I thought they were just cousins of Walmart, but now I know that they are higher quality and provide a larger selection. I also found some really cute tassel earrings on SALE for $6.00 (what a bargain)! Cashier was nice, and at the end of the check out, the monitor asked if the store was clean. I was able to buy homemade black licorice for $3. Homemade canned strawberry rhubarb butter to spread on toast for $4-5. They also have a huge discount section and the kids loved stretching their $5 budget and got a bunch of Halloween and Christmas specific candy cheaply for no other reason than it being the wrong holiday. My husband bought some Amish sourdough bread, but was disappointed with the taste. Upon looking at the label I noted there were a lot of ingredients. Just something to note. Not all Amish foods are created equal and not all items are organic or without preservatives. Read your labels, make educated choices and admire a store of thrifty, honest, and hardworking folks.
