Love the Mishler pork burgers from Millers. Wish they were sold everywhere. I know they can be shipped, but shipping is very high.

Clean, well-stocked, great Deli, a little pricey but understandable since it's not a big Box Store. Happy to have it nearby.

This is an authentic, cash only, Amish grocery store. Go if you want to experience how the people…read morethat live here shop. They sell milled flour and primary ingredients for making your own stuff. I found it interesting how many different types of flour, spices, and primary ingredients like borax used for cleaning laundry and disinfecting were available for purchase by the pound. I was able to buy homemade black licorice for $3. Homemade canned strawberry rhubarb butter to spread on toast for $4-5. They also have a huge discount section and the kids loved stretching their $5 budget and got a bunch of Halloween and Christmas specific candy cheaply for no other reason than it being the wrong holiday. My husband bought some Amish sourdough bread, but was disappointed with the taste. Upon looking at the label I noted there were a lot of ingredients. Just something to note. Not all Amish foods are created equal and not all items are organic or without preservatives. Read your labels, make educated choices and admire a store of thrifty, honest, and hardworking folks.

I loved the aisles with products deeply discounted because they were nearing the expiration date. But you can definitely use most items well past those dates. The employees were very efficient. No cards accepted so bring your cash.

I always enjoyed looking at their cake section, of their various in-store designs. They also have a garden section which is important for the area, since there is no greenhouse in town. I subtracted a point for the way they treat their greeters. One man who I always chatted with almost passed out one day, due to all the toxic sanitizing chemicals they required him to spray on all the shopping carts. As someone with inhalant chemical sensitivities, and asthma in the past, I worried about his health and ability to breathe, especially due to all the spraying while required to also wear a mask.

Man, what a breath of fresh air to be able to avoid Walmart. Despite my mom and extended family…read morebeing here in this area for generations, I've never been in one until yesterday, although my uncle shops here often. We don't have these out in Nevada where I live. Great selection of merchandise. Everything decently priced, big, clean store. BUT... These employees are some of the most unhappy and borderline rude people I've ever met up here. And I've lived here from time to time, and been visiting said family all my life. The checker, wasn't particularly rude, just seemed irritated and unhappy. It was a chore just to greet me and my mom. After we paid for our groceries and other miscellaneous merchandise, I told the young gal who bagged our stuff, "Thank you so much! I hope you have a great rest of your day!" She FLAT OUT IGNORED me, and kept just staring straight ahead. I've met nicer people in Jersey, and had to check my location to make sure I hadn't been mysteriously teleported to Baltimore. Maybe my family gets treated different, but when I'm up here visiting, I'll just stick to Walmart. They don't have certain things I typically buy at Walmart anyways. Sorry Meijer. I gave you a shot. Enjoy the $120 I spent today, because I won't be spending there again! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149.
