Large Amish/Mennonite grocery with lots of prepackaged bulk foods. Prices seem good, better than Yoders, but they only take CASH or CHECK or EBT, no credit or debit cards. There is an ATM close by so plan ahead. Not many fresh veggies.

We have been to this store before but, never had enough time to go through and see everything. We also have never eaten at the sandwich bar. So today we made sure we had enough time to take it all in. We started out at the Sandwich Bar. The young lady behind the counter will make your sandwich almost anyway you like it. They offer a variety of different compliments with your sandwich. I ordered the Combo which is a sandwich, soup and a drink. All for a bargain price of $6.99. You pick your bread, 3 different meats and a cheese. Then you can add all the extras, tomato, onion, pepper, etc. The finished product is huge. I took the Corn Chowder Soup. It was amazing as it was thick and creamy with shredded ham and chicken. My wife got the combo with Potato Salad. Delicious shredded potato in a sauce. The drinks are you choice of about 6 different fountain drinks. After all that if you have any room there is ice cream. The grocery store is a rare experience. There are aisles of almost every kind of food you can imagine. Hundreds of bulk items and a full aisle of items that are reduced because they are discontinued or going out of date. When you finish go next door to the outdoor garden area. If you are planning a visit plan plenty of time to enjoy. Only open till 4:00 on Sat. and closed on Sunday.

I have yet to find a market I wouldn't recommend in this area. Food is always filling, service and ambience are as expected.

Thought this place was kind of neat but overrated. I got a few spices and plastic pie containers for less then $0.60 each.

Truly a one of a kind Amish bulk foods store where the prices are cheap, products are good, and the atmostphere is unlike any other.

I can't really compare this place to anyplace else I've ever been, they do sell items not in bulk as well.

Nice, very clean, well lighted store with big aisles and a decent selection of food. They have…read moreorganic as well as regular produce which is always a plus. I always enjoyed looking at their cake section, of their various in-store designs. They also have a garden section which is important for the area, since there is no greenhouse in town. I subtracted a point for the way they treat their greeters. One man who I always chatted with almost passed out one day, due to all the toxic sanitizing chemicals they required him to spray on all the shopping carts. As someone with inhalant chemical sensitivities, and asthma in the past, I worried about his health and ability to breathe, especially due to all the spraying while required to also wear a mask.

Man, what a breath of fresh air to be able to avoid Walmart. Despite my mom and extended family…read morebeing here in this area for generations, I've never been in one until yesterday, although my uncle shops here often. We don't have these out in Nevada where I live. Great selection of merchandise. Everything decently priced, big, clean store. BUT... These employees are some of the most unhappy and borderline rude people I've ever met up here. And I've lived here from time to time, and been visiting said family all my life. The checker, wasn't particularly rude, just seemed irritated and unhappy. It was a chore just to greet me and my mom. After we paid for our groceries and other miscellaneous merchandise, I told the young gal who bagged our stuff, "Thank you so much! I hope you have a great rest of your day!" She FLAT OUT IGNORED me, and kept just staring straight ahead. I've met nicer people in Jersey, and had to check my location to make sure I hadn't been mysteriously teleported to Baltimore. Maybe my family gets treated different, but when I'm up here visiting, I'll just stick to Walmart. They don't have certain things I typically buy at Walmart anyways. Sorry Meijer. I gave you a shot. Enjoy the $120 I spent today, because I won't be spending there again! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149.
