Stopped here for some fuel one day. Place reminds me of our gas stations and convenient stores back home. We stopped inside and grabbed some snacks after a busy day of driving. Coffee and snacks are really good here. Service is good too. I like the vibe. WOuldnt mind stopping by again. read more

Found a large blonde strand of hair in my hotdog, i'm definetly not blonde, nor do I have long hair, utensils still had food stains from the customer prior to me. Gas station packed with customers, one associate at checkout. One associate on phone no ear bud, who holds phones to their head anymore? One associate making biscuits. No Customer service. Worse part about it. The associates put up the banner that let's everyone know bathrooms can't be used. Why at 6am are the bathrooms not available to the very people spending money. Seems to have staffing problems. Take note: one cashier is not a good thing 7am. You are BUSY. The Pizza can be hit or miss. Take a good look at it to see if it's fresh. Other hot food may sit out all day, over cooked. All and all it's solid to get a snack or some quick food. read more

Hmm...I guess I'll write a review, since I checked in here. They have a nice selection of beer and snacks and their gas is always pretty cheap. I've actually gotten sandwiches from here before, and they are pretty good! They also sell Yellow Tail wine, which is a classic. The staff is really nice and when I went in on my birthday, the guy who checked out my items wished me "Happy Birthday". Did I just admit to spending my birthday at Race Trac? You bet your sweet bow tie I did. I hear the iced coffee is good and cheap, but I can't speak to that. They do, however, have different colored frozen drinks, which is probably the sugary equivalent to the "squishee" on The Simpsons. read more

Racetrac is an interesting place. Like all racetracs this location offers reasonable fuel prices and a large indoor convenience store. There is a huge wall of coffee and fountain drinks, a giant prepared food area and they even have a higher end liquor selection. What they also have are ridiculous amounts of people in the store at 5am. I stopped in on my way to work to get coffee. It was 5am and there were at least 50 people pumping gas or in the station. It was so crowded that trying to navigate without bumping into people was a tad difficult. There were two cashiers on duty, but the line was at least ten deep. It moved reasonably quickly and the cashiers were very friendly. If you're looking for the biggest gas station in Gretna, head to Racetrac. read more

I went inside to pay for my gas this morning and both cashiers were wearing their mask underneath their chin. The mask was not covering their mouth or nose. Also they had a man in a motorized wheelchair asking people at the pump for money. read more

I really love this gas station! The parking lot is huge and there's like 24 gas pumps, so you never have to wait. It's even kinda pretty on the outside. Then when you walk in it's like a grocery store! Not only do they have coffee, but they have lattes, espressos, a full range of icees and a huge fountain drink selection, in addition to all the regular cooler drinks; and I do mean ALL. They even have fresh fruit and sandwiches made daily. The lines go really quickly, too considering there's 10 people inside at any given time. This is my favorite place to stop for gas and an energy fix before school. read more

The dirtiest racetrac I have been to in recent memory. The shelves are dirty. The floors are dirty. There was water pooled on the checkout counter. You can't help but see the deplorable condition of the premisses because the hand written signs direct you to pay inside because the pay at the pump system is down. Sad. read more

I love this Racetrac. You just can't go wrong with cheap gas and a decent convenience store attached. The store itself is clean, the staff is friendly enough, and there is only a slightly sketchy element that hangs around. They also have both cubed and crushed ice! I have an "issue" and chomp ice constantly, so this is a big thing for me. They have a good selection of beverages, sandwiches, hot items, and other on-the-go foods. This is the closest thing I have found to a Wawa or Sheetz down this way. So until those places can make it down to Louisiana, I'll settle for this Racetrac. read more

This RaceTrac has a Louisiana Lottery Winstation automatic ticket vending machine. This place has sold winning claimer tickets, so I play there a lot. They also have a 2nd lottery terminal at the counter to buy tickets. read more

This is a huge gas station- there's always a pump open and available. The prices are typically pretty good compared to other gas stations in the area, so you're not getting gouged. There's a fairly large, clean convenience store attached -complete with snacks and coffee- so if you're starving or require immediate inexpensive caffeination, that's a go. They take all the major cards and cash. They've also got plenty of diesel pumps if you're driving something that requires diesel. This is generally our go-to gas station...it's not the closest one to our home but it's fairly close and the prices are lower than the other two closer places. Getting in and out is easy from either direction- there's a turn lane right into the gas station from the Terrytown-bound lane and it's on the Gretna-bound lane of the street. When you get out, you can go to the street alongside the station to get across if you're headed Terrytown-wise or just turn right out into the Gretna-bound lane. There is occasionally traffic backed up from the Westbank Expressway light when you turn out, but when the light changes, you're generally good to go. read more

always clean bathrooms, always hot coffee or tea, or hot cocoa... and always cold drinks... started going to RT after the storms, didn't like them at first, but they grew on me and now I love them, the staff is always friendly, and the snacks are always on point... we went so much ( every morning) that we had a manager that became our friend and we would drive all the way to her other store in Boutte just to see her. Gas is always at a good price and you can usually tell what the market is asking by measuring RT and Walmart against other competitors we always choose one or the other especially when we are on the road, so i'm looking forward to the new store opening in St. Bernard, and free coffee all week... the only competition for coffee is circle K and they can't beat RT because it has wayyyyy more flavors and changes, and lots of extras that circle K can't or won't compete with so Thumbs up to my RT crew...luv ya! read more
