I never had issues with the cashiers. They are just happy to work, happy to do their jobs. They have good customer service skills. Well ever since the deli runs out of their fried chicken, I started to order their fried chicken for pick up. They add an extra $2 or so but it is worth it to me. Their prices for meats, chicken, fruits, and vegetables are too high for me even though I own many properties. Their quality and service are stellar. I just cannot afford to shop here all the time lol Be careful in the parking lot. People speed like bats out of hell and do not stop for you or for young kids. I then purchased what appeared to be the same mixer. The replacement had a different product number, but the mixer and the rest of the contents were otherwise the same. During the return, Costco removed the $100 discount from my original transaction. That discount was not honored when I purchased the replacement. The replacement box also did not contain the bowl cover that was included with the original product. Because the bowl cover was missing, I now have to purchase it separately. Between the lost $100 discount and the cost of replacing the bowl cover, my transaction leaves me approximately $120 worse off than when I began. This raises a serious concern about whether removing one component and assigning a different product number allowed the replacement to be treated as a different product, while I absorbed the lost discount and the cost of the missing part. I believe this is by design and is a deceptive practice and deserves this bad review. Beyond lugging the product back to the store, there is no way I should come out worse in this situation.

Unfortunately, my experience at this particular location today was disappointing. When I asked the deli employee if I could purchase popcorn chicken by weight and have about half a cup filled, she responded very rudely and told me they don't do that and that I had to buy one of the pre-filled large cups. I understand that different stores or departments may have different policies, and I had no problem buying the larger cup instead. My concern wasn't the policy--it was the way I was treated. At every other Publix I've visited, the deli staff has gladly filled the amount I requested and sold it by weight, so I was surprised by both the response and the attitude. I simply believe customers should be treated with kindness and respect, even when the answer is no. I hope management can remind their staff that courteous customer service is one of the things that makes Publix stand out. I know this experience isn't typical of the excellent service I've received at other Publix locations.
