We love this Publix. My daughter always gets her free cookie! Clean store and everyone is very nice and friendly for sure.

Their prices are on the high side but I love their fried chicken and key lime pie. Normally I walk in to buy their fried chicken but lately I have had issues with the wait time. I never had issues with the cashiers. They are just happy to work, happy to do their jobs. They have good customer service skills. Well ever since the deli runs out of their fried chicken, I started to order their fried chicken for pick up. They add an extra $2 or so but it is worth it to me. Their prices for meats, chicken, fruits, and vegetables are too high for me even though I own many properties. Their quality and service are stellar. I just cannot afford to shop here all the time lol Be careful in the parking lot. People speed like bats out of hell and do not stop for you or for young kids. They will however stop for a shopping cart but that is because they don't want their car to be ruined. Watch over your kids very very closely. read more

We love shopping here. Also it's next to Mathnasium where the kids go for Math tutorial. Also it's next to Moe's so pretty convenient. My husband got me this cake for Mother's Day and it was good. read more

Never had any major issues at this publix. I've bought an expired dairy item before, but the staff is friendly and swaps it out for you. I usually am able to find everything I need; some super deals are gone but you can usually get a rain check. Going in the morning on weekdays is my favorite time to shop since the crowds are non existent. read more

Okay I love a Publix really. And the gentleman in the bakery were amazing the associates out on the floor were great I'll say.the places was stocked the fruit looked good and fresh.it was 7pm and all the BOGOS were still available, surprisingly. But like all these other reviews it's the cashiers. And not to mention I was paying cash for some stuff before dinner and she made me break another 20$ for .02 cents. When I asked "does the register have two cents" all I got in response was a very profaned looked, and a big old HUH lord that was more annoying then when my kids say it. Not to mention I get a prescription filled at the pharmacy and let's just say I'll be taking the extra drive down the cvs. Aldis is a my newest friend since moving to this area. To think moved to where I did based the convenience of a store location. But none the less I will not shop at this specific Publix anymore! There's some on the way home from work and another one a little further down the road. For all the other employees that and doing their job and be friendly and nice we appreciate you. The younger ones need to have a talk with management or more PUBLIX training. read more

I've always liked this store but lately some of the new young cashiers it is not as friendly. They don't even say hello or thank you. I was their the other day checking out in the express line and the little girl working there a newbie started throwing the person's food on my bags before I even had a chance to move my bags. I asked what in the heck was you doing. She seemed like she really hated her job. In there today and she appeared to be doing the same thing except I didn't go down her line. I went in on a weekday afternoon that wasn't busy and the deli had nothing. Not to mention the cashiers were incredibly rude and gave me a dirty look for asking how their day was going lol. Don't need the nasty vibes I got from these people so I won't be returning. :) read more

This is a fairly nice Publix. The seafood department had a great selection & knowledgeable staff. The staff & cashiers are friendly & polite. The store was clean & well stocked. It was a posative experience. What's a girl to do? Go grab what you need & be on your way. read more

This Publix pharmacy in Odessa sucks! I gave this pharmacy chances after chances to fill my RX and it all failed! First, I try to fill my cough medicine prescribed by my doctor, the pharmacy staff told me they don't have it in stock until next couple more days or not until week, she didn't ask me if it's okay or not. I wasn't thinking so I said okay. A week later, I received no phone call at this pharmacy, so I went and asked about this. There we're only the Asian pharmacy staff girl and the pharmacy manager there, they told me that they have not called my doctor to authorize to fill this RX! I was like: wtf?!?! It's been a week and it has not been done?!?! They told me to wait longer, like couple more days so they can get it done. HELLO?!?...it's for my cough! When they're able to fill this RX, my cough might be done and over! I was so mad that I just asked for them to give me back my RX. They were not saying sorry or anything like that to apologize they haven't done anything about it. And so I was stupid again to gave this pharmacy a Second chance. I tried to fill my daughter meds here and they only have partial medication for her and I have to come back couple more days later to pick up the other half. Again, I received no phone call from this pharmacy and let me know my daughter med is ready. So I waited and waited, and tired of waiting for that call, I came straight to the pharmacy and guess what they told me? There's no medicine for your daughter. I was like again, wtf?!!!?! So I explained to them the whole situation why I am here to pick up her partial medicine. Then they told me that I was supposed to be picking up this medicine days ago. I was like again, wtf?!?! I received no phone call from you guys to let me know that it's ready! So again, I will not give this shitty pharmacy another chance and I will tell everyone I know about how sucks they are so they won't ran into the same situation as I am. read more

Had a last minute lunch cancel on me and went to this Publix in a pinch. The deli department was wonderful to work with. The deli guy, Ong, prepared and organized everything in record time. All the employees were friendly and super helpful. read more

For me, No matter how bad of a day I've had, I leave there happy because of the employees. I've had real great experiences. We live a mile from this Publix and to us, they're always polite, attentive and helpful. Now if I compare it to the Celebration Publix, honestly, it lacks the wine bar area and the butcher area. The seafood area may pale in comparison a bit and the store lay out is much different. At first, we compared it to some other Store locations such as BayShore or the Mitchell Plaza, yes, it was a bit of a let down in size and Versatility of items available. However,now for us, it is plenty fine as to the items offered; we can get what we need & then some. To be fair, then again, we don't do the bulk buying either. For what we look for, we get a good return on their BOGOs. Plus they do a great job keeping it stocked and having a clean grocery store. The times we've gone to the store, management staff is always on the floor willing to help as well as takes you right to what you're looking for when asked. It was a Publix manager that recommended the Pats BBQ sauce and let me tell you, he was right on. It's Not too sweet and perfect all the way around. Even the Publix bakery brand has been top notch. Finally, we've Gotta give a shout out to Ricky, Blue Apron, he makes you feel like family and loves trying new delicious recipes to dish out. read more

Terrible service during COVID-19. Store manager only allowing 1 gallon of water per family. We are on well water and are a family of 5. We cannot live off of 1 gallon of water. This forces us to leave the house to buy water 1 gallon at a time DAILY. So much for safer at home. Publix does not care. Store manager was rude and not helpful. read more

12500 State Road 54, Odessa, FL 33556 Facts: (1) I am new to Odessa, FL. (2) When I buy liquor for my parties, I normally buy between 7 and 10 of the large 1.75 Lt bottles at a time. I found Publix Liquor Store at 12500 State Road 54 to be close to my house; therefore, convenient. (3) Whether at Publix, or any other liquor store, I have always requested that my bottles be put into boxes, not bags. That's because they are easier to transport and less of a chance to break. Problem: About two months ago, I went to the above-mentioned store, only to find an incompetent clerk. I state this opinion based on my observation on the ignorant or inconsiderate way the clerk responded to my questions. When I got my liquor to the payout counter I requested the bottles be put on boxes. He explained there were no boxes available. I requested to see the manager who never showed up. Because I was in a hurry, I went ahead and accepted the purchase on two bottles per Publix plastic bag. When I got home, I accidentally hit the door frame and one bottle broke. a few days later I went back, but to the main store, to buy a few food items and decided to inquire about policy regarding the Liquor Store not having boxes a few days earlier... so, I requested to speak to the manager. After about a 10-12 minute wait, and a few calls to the manager, the assistant manager showed up. He was a loud mouth who needs training in customer service. I never met the manager, and in my opinion, she should have been accessible to her customers. Last week I decided to buy from the Land O'Lakes Publix Liquor Store. That was a WOW moment. What a difference in "Customer Service Skills". It is like the difference between night and day. I was so happy with the attendant that I decided to go back the next day and buy some food from the same store. Also, a WOW moment. Everyone who I came in contact was friendly and eager to help. Perhaps the Odessa Publix should be trained by the Land O'Lakes store. Land O'Lakes know Customer Service. Shame on Odessa managers and Liquor Stores clerk. From now on, I will go to 2121 Collier Pkwy, Land O Lakes, FL 34639, for my food and party liquor. I will also make sure my neighborhood does not buy from the Odessa store. read more

Worst store ever for special orders. 2 different occasions I have asked for something special order. No call that is was available or not or when it came it. Nothing! I gave up and found what I needed at another Publix or the Walmart superstore. Losing business guys and you are a new store. read more

I find the staff is only somewhat friendly the cashiers are the friendliest upper mgmt not so much layout is horrible and everything is overpriced because of location !! read more
