Immediately I was approached by an employee and told I needed to purchase the item ($24.99 strawberry squishy) because I had touched it. We continued to shop and upon checkout was forced to purchase the strawberry even though I disagreed. The majority of their toys are being touched by customers but I was singled out and made to purchase the additional item because we had touched one as well? Because my son and I aren't white like the rest of the employees and customers that were in the store? Terrible customer service! For about an hour or more we saw big bags full after big bags full walking out and we knew they would run out. Not one time did we see any employee come out and walk the line to see how long it was. When one of the ladies near me went to ask the owner why they aren't limiting she was supposedly told that they tried but the people were saying why can't we buy 34 when the people in front did. When I went to cypress the IG post said 2 per style but the owner walked the line before the door store opened and let us know it was 2 total per person and everyone understood. It is your business you can change the policy at any time. Have a backbone. Instead of pleasing all of those scalpers you disappointed hundreds of people including kids who wokeup early on a Saturday. Eventually when the owner told everyone they were sold out she caught flack for it and cried and walked back into the store, locked the door and turned the lights off. Literally was crying. I've seen you respond to reviews saying this was your first shipment of needohs, we know that's BS just by looking at your IG posts. You also follow other learning express accounts on IG and can see the lines they had during drops. If you didn't then that's your failure as a business owner and just a lack of awareness on your part. Overall the Cypress location is the most organized out of the Houston area learning express stores. The town and country was pretty good too because they limited to 6 per person total. I hope you learn from this experience.

BEWARE OF ICECREAM!!…read more We were enjoying the day with family, walking around the cute area and going in shops and eating, etc. We had just left a restaurant across the street where we ate lunch and had gotten some icecream from there. We were going into more stores to continue shopping after eating and had our icecream in hand.... This was the first store we were going in and before my sister & niece could even step foot on the patio the woman behind the counter SCREAMED at them to not come inside with icecream. She said they had issues with kids and icecream in the past and they didn't want a mess. Understandable - this is your business and you can run it how you please. If you don't want outside food coming in, that's fine. What is NOT fine or understandable, however, is how you can be so classless and aloof that you then continue to talk crap about the customers you rudely yelled at to not come in your store (after they complied, without ANY complaint, comment, or so much as an eye roll, might I add) as the rest of their family is in your store trying to shop! I PERSONALLY listened to the two women behind the counter talk about my niece & my sister and their forbidden icecream the ENTIRE TIME I was trying to shop in the store. It took everything in me to bite my tongue and not address you directly - I did not want to escalate the situation in front of my niece, but if you read this please know I did NOT appreciate it and I think you lack decorum. You were rude and demeaning. Please learn a more respectful way to express your restrictions to your customer - something that is more closely aligned with the reaction you'd expect from a successful business owner rather than a teenage girl. If your store is going to be across the street from a popular ice cream shop, maybe you should take the initiative to print out that no ice cream sign you ranted about for 10 minutes. God bless! :)
