I used to be a regular customer here and I was always greeted and treated with respect by both the staff and owner. Unfortunately since the takeover the new owner has made this place unwelcoming and unprofessional. Is what Brenda (another reviewer) wrote:

I came in to sell a small item of clothing. There was no one and I knew it wouldn't take long but I didn't think it would be that short. Within one min of me dropping it off, the associate called me and said "I am not taking any of this". When I asked her the reason she said "look at its faded I am not taking it". Honestly that is fine but then she mishandle it and pushed it right back at me and gave me the feeling of how dare you even try to sell me these. She also gave me a scratch card as if it would make it better. I told her I don't really care if you don't take my clothes, I mean I get it, my kids wear them (i can't let them go around naked and I am not going to buy something new and keep it around in order for it to be "perfect"), but you can be less rude about it. When I confronted then they proceed to defend themselves. I saw the lady mutter under her breath and shake her head at me. When I said something the owner tried defend her. And when I said I wanted a apologize she just continue to defend and roll her eyes at me. I left and then came back to close my account. The owner said I was "yelling and did not want me in her store". She got right into my face and threatened to call the police. All I wanted to do was close my account and make sure there was nothing there. Cause it's my money and you ain't getting one cent. She was also yelling about calling the police while waving a box cutter. She even proceeded to throw it at the counter where my hand was so I made the same threat. You shouldn't be handling customers while carrying a box cutter and being angry at the same time. You look threatening. When I made the comment she said "I am done with you and I want you out."
The cashier tried to apologize but of course I am upset. But when my mom said the establishment won't last she mutter under her breath "that is fine we have plenty of nice customers". Really??? I was a nice customer since the day my son was born. I made recommendation to my friends and family to visit. Then suddenly I am no longer nice because I didn't like to be disrespected and threatened with the box cutter?? Okay. All I wanted was a apologize. Nothing more. I don't care if you don't take my clothes.
Also this is a second hand store. You shouldn't be selling used stuff for the same price of new. Or expecting things to be 100% perfect when the stuff on your clothing racks have missing buttons, fading items, stains, or are broken. By the way some of these things I was reselling were from your store that I brought maybe a week ago.
I would definitely never come back. I've also read other negative reviews on FB and Google and found this new owner to be petty. The term "owner" has gotten into her head. I normally think its great to support small business but I would say take your money and items elsewhere. read more
