Our son is always growing and it gets costly... we decided we would earn some money/credit taking in a bin of his barely used clothing and shoes. We loved how quick and easy the process was to sign up and then for them to go through his items. We had the option of cash or store credit and opted for store credit since you earn extra that way. Our son was then able to get a cool, unused Melissa & Doug wooden play food BBQ set to add to his kitchen play area at home, a couple of books and a pair of gently used board shorts! Incredibly deceiving practices. Advertised getting cash back when you spend a certain amount and completing leaving out the detail that is was for each transaction. I spend hundreds of dollars thinking I would be getting upwards of $60 in earned cash back only to come in today and find out it was by transaction. If I would have been made aware of this, I would have made separate transactions. Very bad business and and just downright deceptive. I'm not looking for MBAs to be running such an establishment but would expect more clarity and disclosure in what they advertise. read more

Never go to this location, manager said she's being "very selective" of what they accept meanwhile the clothes of the racks have poop and food stains on them. It's a BABY STORE and you can't even push a stroller through the aisles because it's so messy. The location in spring is nicer and has better clothing options too. (No poop or food stains) read more

Worst experience selling ever. They do not disclose they will be opening new sealed items. When expressing my frustration on how I could have been ask for my stuff to be torn open (they did not purchased my items at this time) the awful woman says only it is not their policy to ask for consent. IT'S MY STUFF!!! I never once was I given empathy or compassion or an apology for the wrong doing. I took everything back and did not sell to them. I bet if I opened their items there would be hell to pay, but to open other people's things is policy without need of permission! I'd rather burn my things than sell to this store. read more

Shopping here is great usually. The clothing selection is not overwhelming like at some other resale shops. I've found plenty of name brand and boutique clothing to supplement my daughter's wardrobe. However, I've noticed recently that an employee is inserting the sales tag through cloth and not clothing seam, creating holes in the fabric of shirts, sweaters, dresses, even when the tag is removed carefully with scissors. Disappointing, since they supposedly pride themselves on selling new and gently used clothing... too bad they are turning treasures into crud. It was so frustrating to come home from the anniversary sale to find I had just purchased a bunch of garments with price tag hole damage. read more

I generally always have a good experience at kid to kid in The Woodlands. One thing in particular is the staffs' efficiency... when I take my items to sell they go through it in a timely manner, not to waste my time or theirs (unlike other kids resale stores in the area who hold you hostage). Today I happened to see an associate (whom I've seen there for quite sometime now) training a new employee in a knowledgeable manner, with customer service skills and time management. Nice resale children's shop with many items NWT and gently worn, great selection of necessary items to help furnish a nursery or for things to have at Grandma, Grandpa's house. There are so many really cute shoes for all ages, but non walkers has a huge variety to select from. There are also plenty of toys, some new and some that a child gently "got bored with". I used to be a regular customer here and I was always greeted and treated with respect by both the staff and owner. Unfortunately since the takeover the new owner has made this place unwelcoming and unprofessional. Is what Brenda (another reviewer) wrote: "The owner of this store is truly in need of a personal reflection, and hopefully she reads these reviews.Her employee management skills are lackluster, and in true need of help." I came in to sell a small item of clothing. There was no one and I knew it wouldn't take long but I didn't think it would be that short. Within one min of me dropping it off, the associate called me and said "I am not taking any of this". When I asked her the reason she said "look at its faded I am not taking it". Honestly that is fine but then she mishandle it and pushed it right back at me and gave me the feeling of how dare you even try to sell me these. She also gave me a scratch card as if it would make it better. I told her I don't really care if you don't take my clothes, I mean I get it, my kids wear them (i can't let them go around naked and I am not going to buy something new and keep it around in order for it to be "perfect"), but you can be less rude about it. When I confronted then they proceed to defend themselves. I saw the lady mutter under her breath and shake her head at me. When I said something the owner tried defend her. And when I said I wanted a apologize she just continue to defend and roll her eyes at me. I left and then came back to close my account. The owner said I was "yelling and did not want me in her store". She got right into my face and threatened to call the police. All I wanted to do was close my account and make sure there was nothing there. Cause it's my money and you ain't getting one cent. She was also yelling about calling the police while waving a box cutter. She even proceeded to throw it at the counter where my hand was so I made the same threat. You shouldn't be handling customers while carrying a box cutter and being angry at the same time. You look threatening. When I made the comment she said "I am done with you and I want you out." The cashier tried to apologize but of course I am upset. But when my mom said the establishment won't last she mutter under her breath "that is fine we have plenty of nice customers". Really??? I was a nice customer since the day my son was born. I made recommendation to my friends and family to visit. Then suddenly I am no longer nice because I didn't like to be disrespected and threatened with the box cutter?? Okay. All I wanted was a apologize. Nothing more. I don't care if you don't take my clothes. Also this is a second hand store. You shouldn't be selling used stuff for the same price of new. Or expecting things to be 100% perfect when the stuff on your clothing racks have missing buttons, fading items, stains, or are broken. By the way some of these things I was reselling were from your store that I brought maybe a week ago. I would definitely never come back. I've also read other negative reviews on FB and Google and found this new owner to be petty. The term "owner" has gotten into her head. I normally think its great to support small business but I would say take your money and items elsewhere. read more
