But I was pleasantly surprised, most of the dresses I tried on fit me or if it didn't zip they had a cloth or clips that made it fit, which made the experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free. My stylist was amazing, super comforting, attentive, and really listened to what I was looking for. She pulled a great variety of options and made me feel confident the entire time. The boutique itself also creates a really nice experience, they offer champagne and snacks, which adds a fun, celebratory touch. The only downside for me was that the dressing room felt a little small, especially when trying on fuller or puffier dresses. If you're someone who gets a bit claustrophobic, that's something to keep in mind. And if you haven't been wedding shopping, I mean it's a workout you WILL be sweating, so they keep the AC going which is great! In terms of pricing, the gowns do run on the higher side. My daughter found her dream dress but needed to order a different size. The dress took 2 weeks to come in and it was perfect. She does require you to pay $3 for the armpit inserts for sanitary purpose - but she takes it off your balance if you purchase a dress. The owner is so pleasant and even when there are several people shopping - she knows how to cater to everyone. There are thousands of dresses in this store all different sizes and sorted by color, style and length. The best part about the place is the dresses are priced extremely well. Prom is already a time of spending way more money than necessary. We were able to get the dress she wanted at the most reasonable price you can imagine. We have done several events over the past four years with some dresses and excess of $1000. This is not an establishment that is trying to get over on customers. I would recommend her to anyone. For context, I'm a mid-size bride and typically wear between a size 10-12, so finding dresses that fit well and feeling comfortable during appointments is really important to me. Just some context, I did check out their sister store Curve Bridal ( that was great, I recommend, but most dresses were actually TOO big) When we arrived, we were placed in a private room with about five people. While I appreciated having a dedicated space, it did feel a bit tight and not very spacious for a group. One of the standout touches, though, was that they text your fiancé ahead of time and create a personalized note for you to read before trying on dresses and drinking a glass of champagne That was incredibly sweet and made the experience feel special right from the start. Unfortunately, the biggest issue for me and what really impacted the overall experience was the temperature in the room. It was extremely hot, likely from the window heating up the space, and trying on dresses in that environment quickly became uncomfortable and honestly a bit miserable. I mentioned it to the stylist multiple times, but there wasn't much done to help and no offer to switch rooms or bring in a fan. When you're already physically uncomfortable, it adds stress and takes away from what should be a fun, exciting experience. In terms of the dresses, I felt the selection was somewhat limited, especially if you're trying to stay under a $3,000 budget. As someone who wears a size 10-12, I also didn't feel like there was a wide variety of options that truly worked for my size range. Another thing to note is that I wasn't able to browse all the dresses myself. The stylist pulled options based on what she thought I would like, and while she mentioned there was more inventory upstairs, I wasn't given the option to look through it or explore both areas just the model floor, which felt a bit restrictive. She took her time with me and pulled some super fun dresses plus the ones I'd sent as inspo and we just had a blast throughout the entire appointment! By the time we left, Shayna felt like part of our friend group! My mom was having some health issues at the time of my appointment and Shayna checked in on her several times afterwards, and that meant so much to me. She is an incredible asset to Curve and I would pay the $25 to play dress up with her every single Saturday if I lived in Jacksonville! I am so excited to say that I said yes to the dress at Curve Bridal!
