Hushpuppies were a bit dense but the flavor was great. The Brussel sprouts in my opinion were a tab bit overly done. For entrees we were so sad that a lot of the menu and specials were sold out! But I thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits ate every last bit. Very rich but the roasted tomatoes gave it great balance. Shrimp was cooked perfect. Paired perfect with the Riesling!! For dessert we had the chocolate croissant bread pudding. This is a MUST get. Beautiful, classy ambiance and great service. The only recommendation I would have for service is if it is a Business Dinner maybe try and be a little less conversational. However, other than that our server was great and had gave great recs! It was refreshing to see a top notch staff! Their menu offered something for everyone which worked out great for us since daughter is vegetarian. The restaurant was super clean, modern, and roomy! We enjoyed sushi, tacos, nachos, shrimp and grits (not on the printed menu but still offered) non alcoholic beer for the Hubs and a nich Marlbourough (sp?) sauvignon blanc wine for the girls. We were delighted to find a place without a dress code to have an early dinner and there were plenty of tables and we didn't need a reservation! My favorite dish we tried was the tempura battered fried olives! Wow! These were great! Flavorful, not greasy, and just a fun take on delicious olives!!!! They came with a house made ranch dressing dip. They were out of bleu cheese which I love, and I do think the blue cheese would have been even better as an olive dip. We drive from Columbia SC and the food, vibe and music on Saturday night is well worth it. Solé roll is a must! We alternate between the Solé roll and goyza each visit. The menu changes and has been different each visit and that's okay. Food is good quality here and doesn't disappoint This time 1/5 our server was extremely slow but it was ok as we enjoyed our friends we brung with this time. I had the chicken Florentine and it was just okay. The mashed potatoes were perfect! They started from scratch in my opinion but the cut of chicken was super thin for the amount of toppings. We were accommodated in 15 minutes and seated. Our server, Jalyn, was amazing. She was attentive, funny, energized and engaging. She provided good insights and recommendations to consider. I went with the scallops and pork belly app and bone in rib eye with Mac and cheese and asparagus. We had the cheesecake for dessert. The scallops were very flavorful and juicy. The pork belly was amazing and had a great crust. I could've had a large serving of pork belly for my main if they let me...;-) Steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Great sear on the outside and medium rare as ordered. Their take on Mac and cheese is unique and awesome. It looks like a lasagna serving and is pure creamy bliss. Make sure to order this side.
