It's located on the northbound side of the I-35 feeder at exit 254. There's plenty of parking and it sits right next to Amy's ice cream. The interior reminded me of those souvenir shops you'd find down by the coast where music is playing overhead and you're surrounded by bright colorful clothing from the floor to the ceiling. There's lots of men's, women's and children's activewear along with numerous accessories. You can also find some Austin souvenirs and T-shirts here as well. For those of y'all not 'from round these parts', Tyler's is like a PacSun meets J.C. Penny store (at least to me it is anyway). I generally shop for items for Thing Two at Tyler's as most of the apparel skews toward a specific age demographic which yah gurl aint in. However, it should be noted that this retailer originated in 1978 in Tyler, Texas, as a single store specializing in tennis and running gear. I was treated with respect and care from the beginning to the end. She listened to my needs and the very first shoe she had me try on was the perfect shoe for me, BROOKS W ARIEL GTS 26. They did not have my size in stock at the store but got it delivered in 3 days from another store. I went back to try on and yet again I wanted a bigger size. Sales clerk Ellie fitted me and was also understanding to my needs. I finally walked away wearing my first pair of shoes after 2 1/2 years of not being able to wear one. I also bought a pair of laces with the locks... OOAHH SPORT FLEX and 2 WICKED COMFORT SOCKS. I am a very happy first time customer. Unfortunately, there was nothing in that category for me, and it should be pointed out that they have no leather upper business shoes here at all (or ladies heels either). This is strictly a running tennis shoe business with accessories. If you take running shoes seriously, this is the place to come, especially if you don't mind spending between $120-$250 for a pair. I was looking for a popular brand of shoes that had recently come in a slide with a floral design. I had prepaid for them, so I was there to pick them. While I was there, I looked at a few other sandals and also bought a very nice pair of navy blue with a bit of navy blue sparkle on that sandal part. Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized the sandals that I purchased online would not fit me. I don't know what I was thinking because slides never do fit my wide foot. I guess I thought they were more like flip-flops but my bad I didn't even open and checked them out while I was at the store. I'm hoping to be able to return them. I did meet the manager and will re-contact him when I get home, but I have no phone service at this time as I am out of the country. I'm very hopeful. I can get the very least due and exchange and apply the amount I paid toward a different style of shoe. There were a huge amount of different shoe design and the sizes were a very good range. Marshalls is my very special place where I purchase all of my soaps. Yes, there are more great…read morethings, like clothes, shoes, fragrance, makeup, hair tools, and house decor that I love to purchase here, too. But the soap is my favorite. I love the Castelbel scents! I love the Lemons, Cotton Flower, and Lavender scents, and during the holidays, they bring in the Christmas scents like Sugar Cookies and Peppermint. Today I went to two Marshalls. I just had to stock up. Plus, a lover of soap, like me, got to the first one before me and only left three bars. I didn't see my creamy Goat Milk soap. Did I mention that soap is only $3.99 a bar? It's such a great value, and the clerk told me the day the truck comes in. I really appreciate that information, thank you!

In fact, if they were a cat they might have exceeded their nine lives. Have you had the feeling like you can feel air hitting your feet, yet you do not know where it was coming from. Then you look down and realize that your toe is poking out of your shoe. Yep, that's what happened to me. Fortunately, I have a backup pair of tennis shoes, so I quickly activated plan B. Off I went to the Nike store in search of new pair of tennis shoes. I walked into the store with the confidence of a woman who new exactly what she wanted in an absolutely uncertain way. I told the sales representative I needed tennis shoes that said, "I'm an athlete but also person who cry at romantic comedies." He handed me a pair that looked like they could be perfect until I saw the price tag. Who pays over $100 for tennis shoes...not me! Did $50 tennis shoes go out with the dark ages? Have I been living under a rock? Remember discounts and sales are my shopping love language. Trying them on was a feat. Size 9, please. Well, no 9's in that style, but here's a 8 for sizing. What exactly does that mean? I have worn a size 9 tennis shoes for about 15 years. First, I had to wrestle my foot in like I was stuffing an air mattress back into its original packaging. I stumbled up and felt like my feet was pulsating the song "We will rock you" by Queen. To test drive these shoes, I did a test jog down the aisle and back, narrowly avoiding a stack of shoeboxes and a child throwing tiny cars like little projectile missiles. The service was very good in the store. I cannot make a quick decision regarding expensive tennis shoes. So, I decided to wait for the Black Friday Sale in November or perhaps an earlier sale.
