Love love love Lexi. Ask for Lexi. First time in Austin and bought me some boots. Lexi was amazing and so helpful.

In a hot summer Texas day this store is the ultimate reprieve. I am used to luxury shopping and it's always a nice touch when the staff offer you something to drink (even before you advise your intent to shop). My husband treated me to my first pair of Tecovas boots and it was an amazing experience. The staff were so awesome, friendly, and accommodating. Highly recommend this store to help you find your perfect pair of high quality boots. The cost to value is excellent for the high quality leather. A+++ shopping experience.

Rating this location one star due to the employees. If you are okay with being ignored and not treated with the same service as those who "look" the part, by all means continue shopping at this location. I did buy a pair of boots but felt very uncomfortable and not welcomed throughout the whole process. The boots are very nice and I have been eyeing them for a while and was the only store that had my size readily available. Value, probably worth it we will see as I break into them.

This review is for Chris. From the moment my husband and I walked in the store he was very welcoming. We just moved to Austin from CA and had no clue about boots and he provided a lot of information, made really good suggestions and provided a complementary whiskey. He felt more like a friend than a sales person. He went the extra mile and even made suggestions in places to go explore. We didn't purchase today but we are definitely coming back and getting 2 pairs of boots from him.

Tecovas always impresses me with their service but my experience today blew me away to the point I needed to leave a review. We came in early on a Saturday and left with 3 new pairs of boots, a freshly cleaned pair, and a few new fronds. Sam, Dina, and Mason made our experience incredible. Sam made us feel welcome the second we walked in the door, made sure we had a drink in our hand while we shopped. Dina matched our energy on the sales floor and was our hype girl to make only the best retail therapy decisions. Mason rounded our experience by cleaning up my Docs to like new condition. All three of these humans have a knack for building connections and cemented Tecovas as my go to brand for anything boots, belts, and accessories. The experience is simply unmatched.

Had high hopes for my first boot purchase experience but was severely let down. I had visited this store previously to purchase items for my husband during Christmas time and I experienced the staff serving whiskey shots, giving out hard seltzers for people purchasing boots and providing better customer service than other competitors I've visited, which is what made me want to come back when I was ready to make a bigger purchase. However today was not like that at all. I purchased a pair of knee high $374 (w/tax) boots and they were tight in the calf area when I tried them on. I asked the employee assisting me if they would stretch out once I started wearing them and he told me no. He did not mention that they offered stretching at the store. I was not going to buy them if I had to get them stretched somewhere else because I could just go somewhere like Allen's Boots, where they offer stretching with a boot purchase. I ended up asking him if they offered stretching there and the guy assisting me said yes, but that they can only stretch them x amount and it may take a few times. He honestly had me feeling like I was burdening him/the staff by wanting them stretched. Another female employee walked up to ring me up and handed me a form to fill out for the stretching. The guy who was originally helping me had walked away and never came back to finish helping me. Once the purchase was complete, the female employee left and my husband and I stood there looking at each other waiting for some assistance with the now purchased boots in front of us on the table. We weren't sure if we needed to give the boots to another employee, if we just left them on there the table or what. So I find another employee to ask who I needed to hand the completed form to, if that was all they needed, how long the stretching would take and when I could come pick them up. No offer of a whiskey shot, which you could clearly see opened bottles stocked behind the counter, no thank you, nothing but a lack of enthusiasm and customer service and us leaving very underwhelmed. I'd definitely spend my money elsewhere in the future. Hopefully a different location offers a better experience than this one did.

Good day, Wanted to…read morereach out and share my experience on a release by Sneaker Politics. There was an Air Max 95 Bandana Release on Saturday, during SXSW on 3/14. I got to the store at 9:30am and was greeted by a gentleman (smaller black guy with shades), who gave me the details of how the release was going to work. He granted me a wristband that had #3 on it. Door opened at 11 and majority of people got wristbands and lined up. Everyone lined up according to their numbers on their wristbands. With me being #3, I entered the store and bought the releases. I understand that it's a release, so I do understand one per person. When I walked out there was a Hispanic male outside who worked with the store giving out wristbands. I wanted to get my daughter a pair, so I asked could I get back in line grab another. The line was really long. I grabbed another wristband and was #76. I was told from that Hispanic male that o could get another but I had to go to the back of the line, which is what I did. I waited and waited until my turn. The line grew longer behind me. When I reached the registered, the same gentleman (black guy with braids) who checked me out the first time said I couldn't get about pair until everyone got a pair. He said if I wanted another pair then I needed to get out the store and wait back in line (which is what I did the second time and was #76). I showed him my green #76 wristband and he rudely said i needed to get back in line again to get another pair. I was not trying to argue, so I told him I'd do that but this was wrong. I was disappointed. The black guy in braids stated that he was the manager and there was nothing I could do to get another pair right then and there. I told him the guy with the wristbands said I couldn't get back in line. He said "the guy outside with the wristbands is a part time guy who doesn't matter to the store." He's not the manager, I am the guy to make the decisions." He was very rude! I walked out and got back in line AGAIN! When I got back in line, there were others who had got back in line who were in front of me and waited twice while it was my third time to wait in line for a 2nd pair. The line was long. A few guys had bags in front of me. Just made me feel upset and targeted. The line moved and I was now one guy away from the register. The guy in front of me also had a bag and pair in his hand that he bought earlier. But he didn't wait 3 times like me. When it was my turn, I told the managers in braids, "am I good now because I waited." He laughed and said he was the manager again. He gave me a speech about how he makes the calls and that I got the pair I needed. He said, "you got the pair you needed, right?" Very rude, while laughing, and it felt like he was really making fun of me. He then used profanity and mentioned that he needed to make his living. "You're not going to fucking stop me from making my money, you got your pair didn't you?" I didn't say anything, then I kindly mentioned I'm not going to argue, I just want to make a purchase and leave. He gave me my pair and checked me out. I kindly reached over to shake his hand or give him a dap. He laughed at me and didn't bother shaking my hand, so that's when I left. My experience with Sneaker Politics was very disappointing. All the other employees were great until I reached that gentleman. Very unprofessional, laughed at me, used profanity, and I'm sure he didn't have that conversation like that with other customers. I felt dumb and targeted but thankful I got me and my daughter a pair!

Staff were friendly and the overall ambiance was chill without being dull or overwhelming. Typical retail prices are to be expected, nothing too crazy. That said, I wish they would carry more unisex footwear in smaller sizes. I typically wear 6 women's and 4/4.5 in big kids. I prefer the latter due to better color-way variations. Solid spot to check out and try on the latest footwear.

After coming in the first time, getting a futuristic testing done on my feet for size (a complete BS facade to take your money easier), they said I need an 8.5 men's. I wear an 11 usually. I haven't been an 8.5 since junior high 6 years ago. Yet I was made to look like a fool when I questioned the 8.5. Instead, I took the pair home and destroyed my feet running in them. Then returned them and got a new pair that was bigger. And destroyed my feet. Then returned again and returned them to get a new pair a little bigger. And destroyed my feet (albeit not as bad). In case you were wondering, I run 4-10 miles most runs. No I am not new to this. Also, got sold these shoe inserts here. Complete shite. $50 and the worst thing I've ever put in my shoe. I actually just threw them away. I must say though, congrats to Fleet Feet for finding such an incredible way to not only destroy my feet but also make a killing while at it. My first attempt was a failure because I had to go to the bathroom urgently and they don't have one. I rushed to the La Condesa restaurant across the street who were kind enough to let me use theirs. Since I was there solo, and carrying a lot of my own stuff, I asked the fitting room attendant if he could help me if sizes weren't wrong. He did this two separate times and was lovely throughout the whole experience! I decided to go with a different top as the one pictured, and in the wrong size, but I needed that denim crop. I'l probably eventually sell it but the green skirt is going to be one of my new staples for sure The other store attendant who helped me with the shirt/not a skirt debacle ended up being the one at the cash register and gave me a big shopping tote to fit my new clothes, and the personal belongings I couldn't fit inside my North Face backpack.
