On the Saturday before the BIG day. we arrived to pick them up around 12:30, only to find that the store closed for the weekend at noon. (Unfortunately, we either failed to read or remember? - or both, the store hours on both the invoice and front door). With no emergency contact listed and my wife in tears, we dashed home to check the internet. Despite the "fact" that most rental places close at noon on Saturday (unbelievable), my wife found Executive Events & Entertainment open in Painesville. While they were out of the quantities and colors my wife needed to match our floral arrangements, he suggested that we try Jaydee Cleaners on Mentor Ave. in Mentor, OH. A quick call to them and my wife was all smiles again. And although she had to settle for white linens instead of ivory, our anniversary party was "saved". What I derived from this experience is that even though Executive Events would have preferred to have been our first choice in rentals, they were not remiss to helping us resolve our "dilemma". This past weekend I hosted a retirement party for my mom which I wanted to be a little over the…read moretop. My sisters and I came up with the idea for a Murder Mystery party to be held at my house under a 20' x 30' tent which held about 50 guests. After doing lots of online research, I ran across Phil and his company and was very pleasantly surprised! The communication throughout the weeks leading up to the event was outstanding. The actors were professional and were really into their roles. From the moment that they grabbed the attention of my crowd, they had their full attention in the mystery. Most importantly, my mom was blown away and absolutely loved the performance. I've been to another mystery that was cheesy and loaded with singing....this one was funny and witty without the unnecessary and annoying musical interludes. One of the favorite parts the guests had was examining the crime scenes inside my house and interacting with the actors to try and get them to divulge or expand on evidence they collected. This was a highly interactive experience that I would recommend to anyone.

Diana was highly attentive throughout the planning process, and provided helpful guidelines on how to think about structure for the ceremony & reception. She connected us to an uplighting vendor and was understanding when an event reschedule couldn't be avoided. DJ Dave did a great job as well, the ceremony and reception went smoothly, and he kept everyone dancing throughout an extended reception. I appreciated that he got little details right in pronouncing names and that he worked with us to keep the event running smoothly (especially when we needed an extra 5min to eat!). During our initial meeting, we sat down with Shaun at Panera Bread and I was sort of star-struck to actually meet "Dumb" from Rover's Morning Glory since I have been a loyal fan of the show since the very beginning!   He was very cool and professional in person, thoroughly explaining all of the services he offered and providing us with pricing sheets and everything else we needed to consider him for our big day.  He gave us his availability for the following calendar year so we had an idea before picking a wedding date.  We ended up using Shaun's services for both our ceremony and reception.  His prices were very reasonable and his rave reviews on wedding sites had us convinced!  He was very accommodating with our song choices and even did custom fade ins/outs for a few of them per our request.  Since he's been DJing weddings for so many years, he was very helpful with making suggestions on certain aspects of the wedding to help things go more smoothly.  When it came time for dancing, the floor was lit up and the music was booming! He did great with engaging with our guests and all of our friends loved him! All in all, our wedding day was great and we couldn't have done it without Shaun's help.  He kept us on track through the evening and was in contact with myself and my wife throughout the night as needed. If I could give this " photography business " zero stars I would. Last year we found this…read more"photographer" and decided to get Santa photos for our pets. The experience was rushed the helpers lacked experience with pets but we overlooked it thinking the pictures would be worth it. After paying a ridiculous amount on prints and cards, since they weren't offering rights to the pictures, we waited for the pictures to arrive. I got a notification when they were ready for pickup so I drove 45 minutes to pick them up after being told that they would be at the location of the photo shoot. Turns out they weren't there. After runaround from the store and photographer who she had called I went home annoyed. Then Martha told me she would drop them off at our house. She did and half of our order was missing! Thankfully the cards turned out cute so I let the disaster go. This year I decided to try again. BIG MISTAKE. I used the website to book an appointment at 1130 at milo and me and got the confirmation email. On that day, after lugging three dogs and a cat to said location, ( no easy task) I was met by the store owner who notified me that pictures for Santa wouldn't be there until 230!!!! I called Martha who was very rude to me and she said no we are at another location. So we drove there. When we got there she gave no apology treated me like I was lying and started with the photo shoot. It was rushed, cramped and much like her attitude extremely unprofessional. I bought the rights to the photos and wanted to order Christmas cards. I was told to call her on Monday to order those. I did and was assured they would be here before Christmas. When I got the cards they looked horrible!! So bad I couldn't even use them. Not the right photos and in the middle the picture was cut off and turned the wrong way! No year was on the card either. They looked like a card a child made at a Walmart kiosk! I messaged Martha and was not offered an apology an explanation or anything. True to form very rude and unprofessional. All she said was send them back for a refund! Real nice! I don't recommend her at all. I even question whether or not it's a registered legitimate business. Stay clear of this mess and find a real photographer!

We got our dog's pictures taken with Santa at a local pet shop. Portraits by Martha was there with…read morethe camera and some props (Santa hat, reindeer ears, etc) That was about the only value that they added to the experience at all. The pictures came out fine, albeit a week after we were told we would get them (and too late to mail in time for Christmas as a result). Unfortunately the Christmas cards that we got had half of our personal message chopped off and the magnets were so poorly cut we only distributed half of them. All in all there are definitely other photographers in the city that could take the same quality photos but deliver on time and on quality products.
