Bingham is no exception, but after visiting four other shops the same morning, what I liked most about Bingham was their level of knowledge about the bikes they're selling. Modern bikes aren't cheap, and having someone that knows what they're talking about really makes the experience better. Angela really knows her stuff and was very friendly and helpful. She helped me get the exact eBike I wanted and needed and took the time to explain everything to me. Don't get me wrong--the other shops were also helpful and the people treated me great. But Angela's expertise set Bingham apart.

A couple times I've felt like the shop has assumed I'd want move forward on a service, but I've never felt pressured. I've also never been talked down to for not knowing something. I heard about this store and how they provide rentals for a reasonable price. The process is easy: check in at the kiosk to make res; meet with one of the reps in the back (fitting/sizing): and then, pay at the front counter. Staffs are super helpful and nice. Ample parking in the lot. I'd come back to continue renting gears or referring others to come here.

Instead of enjoying the quiet serenity of skiing through powder, the sound of a squeaking old rusty hinge was heard the whole day. The snowboard was set so badly that it caused foot cramping all day. When shown the video with the sound and told how vastly different the experience had been, the employees did not know what could have caused it and were not willing to do anything about it. Extended family are coming out next month and will not be using this rental shop.

This place is pretty rad, but it's definitely a know-before-you-go kind of establishment…read more What it is not: A polished, sleek bike retailer A bike repair shop A place to dump old bikes A place to sell old bikes What it is: A place that does sell refurbished bikes A place where you can come and work on your bike A place where you can donate your old bike, tools, or equipment A place where you can volunteer and help the community There are some very very passionate people here who love bikes, and it's really a whole community that they've built. They take bikes and refurbish them to sell, but are so much more with their community programs. If you want to rent a bench, you can get all the tools you'll need to do your own fix. They have pros there who can guide you through some basic things, but it's not a bike repair shop, so don't expect to drop it off and have something fixed; you're here to learn and work together. It looks like they're booking shopping appointments online now, and when I dropped by they were open but the doors are locked. It's a teeny retail space and they are still exercising great caution about COVID. You can peruse what's available and as is the case with any store like this, it's very hit or miss with styles and sizes, but that's half the fun.
