They could see the text didn't go through (they told us that) and they didn't try and notify us. We weren't ready an hour early and were going to miss the shuttle, and all the dispatch said was too bad, you can take the next shuttle and miss your flight. The driver was nice and waited for us (and even told us there was no reason to go early because there is no traffic) but the dispatch has no customer service and is not helpful.

Dial-a-Ride functions as an integral part of the Mountain Village transportation system. Used in…read morecombination with the Telluride/Mountain village gondola (Mountain Village market, Mountain Village, Mid-point stop at Allred's, Telluride), the service enables you to stay in Mountain Village without a car. Service is generally fast (call and a Suburban will arrive within 10 minutes generally), but expect slightly longer wait times (up to 20 minutes) for peak times (i.e. end of the ski day or dinner time). You're not supposed to schedule rides ahead of time; however, you can call a few minutes ahead of your arrival at your pickup point (we usually call for the grocery store parking lot pickup when we're on the gondola, about 3 min away). This season, Dial-a-Ride is operated by Mountain Limo. Drivers are friendly and courteous. Fees are not collected when you use the service; it's funded through the Mountain Village homeowners association fees. Don't forget to tip your driver.
