They offer a large selection of wines, plus four ciders, wine slushies, and mixed wine cocktails. The tasting is a great deal -- five samples for $7 -- and the bartender was fantastic, very friendly, knowledgeable, and interactive, which made the experience even better. Despite having little space in your suitcase, we walked out with a couple 4 packs and would have probably bought more if we weren't limited on weight and space. read more

We sat at the bar and had two tastings of five wines each so we could try 10 wines. The boys had beer and mocktails. Appreciate that they have beer, cider and mocktails as an option. The DIY charcuterie board was not clear but we were good with chips. We enjoyed the tasting, I bought 4 bottles - 1 to drink in the garden area and 3 to go. With the 4 bottles we received 1 tasting for free and 4-pack of wine coolers. They had a food truck to enjoy lunch and lovely seating. The wines were good - some great and some okay - so we average at good. Nancy was our server and very helpful. We would return as it was a cool afternoon to hang out, listen to music, drink wine and eat food. read more

Very helpful staff that was a big help in explaining the wines and the business. The selection of wines was very broad and inclusive. If you like wine, you should be able to find one of theirs to tastes. The facility is new and very pretty. The grounds are newly planted and very nice. We did not try the food truck this visit so we will have to go back. A great time was had by all. read more

We had stopped at the tasting room and enjoyed the experience. However, the winery is a definite must. The beautiful grounds and building where you immediately relax and smile is worth the trip. The wine was definitely tasty but I was unable to linger because they do not allow outside snacks. I thought it was going to be like what we are used to in Massachusetts, where you can make a day out of it, since it's quite a drive. We live out of town and had a great experience on our first visit. We went again over the weekend, since we had a great experience the first time, and it was sub-par. So much so, we almost walked out. I think the biggest difference was only having one person behind the bar on the most recent visit. While she was busy, she could have certainly opted to tell people she would be right back, or thank you for waiting, but no. She would leave after a pour and then just walk away to check people out, and then start talking to people that just walked in. Customer Service is an easy fix, but leaving one person to handle everything is not for a positive experience for the customer. Three stars... four stars from the first visit and two for the second. read more

Bold, refreshing and unique flavors! This "radically" different line up of products is so amazing. Finely crisp drinks that don't taste like water and have more oomph of alcohol. They are easy to take with you in the small can. This place is super stylish and fun to visit while shopping. You can take a break and taste and even there traditional wines stand out among others I have tasted. Definitely worth the stop. This was such a cool spot! I went in the other day and did a tasting with Oksana, who was super knowledgable. My husband and I stumbled upon RAD in the Miramar Outlets. Matthew was very knowledgeable; explaining the different notes on each wine we tasted. After an hour of talking and explaining the future of RAD, we each joined the VIP club. We love the wines and the friendly staff! Our go-to gifts are usually a bottle of wine from RAD. We are a group of passionate and knowledgeable wine consultants. We like to have fun at R.A.D. and teach you more about our wine and cider process. You can try our wide range of wines and find your new favorite drink!

History

Established in 2021.

Rockie and Allison started creating R.A.D. (Really Awesome Drinks) in 2020 during the pandemic. They wanted to make a drink that was delicious and different than anything else you've ever had! R.A.D. is hard cider and wine based cider, lightly sparkling with higher ABV.

Meet the Business Owner: Rockie R.

Rockie grew up on an apple and peach farm in SW Michigan. After going to college to study marketing, he came back to the area, purchased a small piece of property and planted his first grape vines. Since then his vineyard has grown from 5 acres to 30 acres and he continues to hone is wine making skills to deliver excellent Michigan wines! Rockie and his wife Allison are the sole owners of R.A.D. They have one daughter (Dylan) get it... R(rockie). A(allison).D(dylan) ;)
