I wrote a review at google before, but every time I put the address on google and it shows 3.8 yelp reviews I feel that is not true. so I wanted to live a review here too. lol RADFertility is by far the best clinic I've ever seen. I first went to RAD to treat my endometriosis and Dr. McGuirk was just an angel that I found. After years and years being gaslighted by other doctors about my endometriosis (you are exaggerating, cant be that painful, you are fine, all woman has pain during their period) Dr. McGuirk listed to me and did a very successful surgery to remove a very advanced level of endometriosis. After the surgery, my husband and I found out my tubes were very damaged and the probably to have a baby naturally was very slim. We TTC for about year and a half with their help, using all the procedure available. RAD's entire team, from the receptionists to all the nurses, are just the best team I've ever seen. They have a true care. I always felt like a person they care, not just another patient. Thankfully, after a year and a half trying, my husband and I did IVF... and we couldn't be happier with all the care. We are so grateful and blessed to be welcoming our baby girl soon and we will definitely miss everyone there. I remember when my husband and I had to go to a OBGYN and I told him "just let you know, here they are not like RADFertility " ... as soon as we arrived the people were like normal for a doctors office and he said "I don't like this place". I told him "This is more the normal doctors office, RADFertility is above and beyond anything." Do not hesitate in looking for fertility care at RAD, you will be in excellent hands. read more

While Dr. McGuirk's staff are some of the nicest medical staff I've ever encountered, Dr. McGuirk herself put my life at risk with her treatment. Dr. McGuirk prescribed two different medications that gave me suicidal thoughts (one was 48 hours of intrusive suicidal thoughts and the other was months of severe depression that led to suicidal thoughts), and neither time did she believe me that the meds were causing these side effects (even though these meds are known to cause suicidal thoughts). Since Dr. McGuirk did not listen to me, my parents were forced to put me on suicide watch because I was in a mental health crisis. The medication called Zoladex that Dr. McGuirk prescribed for months also gave me neuropathy (horrible burning pain in my hands and feet), and she wanted to keep me on this med for the rest of my life (this is one of the meds that also gave me suicidal thoughts). Finally, I told this doctor I'm going off this med, even though she kept insisting that "it was not her or her meds that were causing these issues" (a red flag with the wording she used). My suicidal thoughts went away off the meds. It's been a year now off the Zoladex and away from this doctor's care. A neurologist that performed an EMG test for my neuropathy said that these medications commonly cause neuropathy and that if I had stayed on the Zoladex, my neuropathy likely would have been permanent (it took nearly a year of being off the med, but my neuropathy is now almost gone!). Off the meds this doctor prescribed, I am a very happy, positive person and have had no issues since then. Please be careful and listen to your body. read more

I would give this clinic a 0 if I could. I was pursing a surrogacy journey, RAD approved me initially stating they would work with me after an initial review of my chart. I went there for medical screening, which prompted a few other things, a MFM consult and a hysteroscopy (D&C). I had blood work done at this time as well. They called me two days prior to the hysteroscopy to cancel due to a critically low iron level (which they had results of for several weeks) and did not pick up on. Critical levels should be reported asap. I had a second opinion done near my home, they did not feel a hysteroscopy was needed, however, Dr Barmat insisted. No problem, they did find a polyp and removed it. Then they finally reviewed the MFM consult and brought up a few items that were of concern. All of these items were in my initial chart, nothing was new. If he had concerns about these items, we could have saved the family time and money, and saved myself time and a completely unnecessary surgery. They dropped the ball in a big way. I recommend finding a more competent fertility clinic if you are seeking a surrogacy journey or IVF. read more

For many years I was misdiagnosed and saw many doctors for multiple forms of (incorrect) treatment that never made me feel better, until I started seeing Dr. McGuirk at RADFertility. She has always listened to me thoughtfully and looked at my entire medical past with a more holistic approach I had not experienced prior. She correctly diagnosed me and has been instrumental in helping me feel better with my treatment. The office staff is amazing and I love their patient coordinators. I can message my coordinator and get a response ASAP, and she helps to schedule any last minute appointments without a crazy long wait. Overall, this practice is fantastic. read more

I'd put a 0 if that were an option. I was under the care of rad for about 6 months doing extensive labeork and testing for my fertility journey. Ilive caught my doctor, Dr schillings in several misguided procedure. she lied to me about a genetic testing so I could spend more money and she could check her insurance kick back box and failed to finish a pre-authorization for a medication that was need before I was about to undergo surgery. I requested for a new doctor and got all my images and paperwork to send for a second opinion. right before my surgery they decided to say they no longer would like to treat me during my fertility journey and didn't even give me an option for a different doctor. this is a very sensitive journey I have been going on and this practice has been nothing but sloppy with my care and I feel it's because of my efficent awareness and thurough questions and ability to see through all there bullshit. I have felt discriminated against as well during this process. I would not go here AT ALL if I were you. all they want is money during our sensitive journey of becoming a parent and these doctors these days are not as attentive thinking we all suffer the same problems and treat us the same as the last person. read more

Where to start.. There is so much conflicting info out there that it makes you question what to do or who to believe, you feel crazy, stressed, defeated, all the things. I can be the first to say I've done countless hours of research looking for someone who cares, someone that will actually help me, to give me quality of life back, and when I say I've searched I mean from Delaware to California and in between, and dr. McGuirk is wonderful!! I will recommend her to everyone I know and share my success story! I had given up hope so many times. I just received excision surgery, which it wasn't easy to find someone willing to touch me without paying 30k dollars plus And it wasn't guarantee that I wouldn't be back in surgery again soon. But I am so grateful to have found her because I already feel like a new person, and I'm still recovering! I feel truly grateful to have found her, she's definitely a diamond in the ruff and has given me quality of life back that I was desperately searching for! I went to Reproductive Associates of Delaware because my second husband and I had not gotten pregnant after five years of not using birth control. My initial visit was OK but after the initial visit the office kept messing up my appointments. The practice administrator blamed it on an employee who had quit or been let go. Here is where the sticky stuff happened. I was seen by Dr. George Kovalevsky who seemed like a good doctor until he started asking questions about my sexual past. My ex-husband systematically subjected me to severe sexual abuse from 9/2006 to 6/2012. This is a VERY sore subject with me and it is VERY hard for me to discuss the details of what I went through. I suffer from PTSD and take a couple medications to control the symptoms. When Dr. Kovalevsky asked about sexual activity with my ex-husband he insisted on knowing how many times my ex-husband used a condom when he raped me. I quite honestly told him that I do not know how many times because over the past five years I have tried to block out much of what happened from my mind. Dr. Kovalevsky was NOT happy with that answer and insisted that I think hard to figure out an actual number. His insistence led me to develop flashbacks to the abuse. When I questioned the practice administrator about Dr. Kovalevsky's conduct, she blamed my reaction on the fact that I must be "uncomfortable" with a male doctor. I AM NOT uncomfortable with a male doing any type of gynecological procedure on me! In fact, when my husband and I were stationed at remote base in South Korea, my favorite doctor at the clinic was a young male Army physician's assistant who treated me with the utmost respect after knowing my sexual history. Due to the resurgence in the flashbacks, I was put on anti-anxiety medication by my doctor on base. It is unsafe for me to get pregnant on this medication. Yet, when I told Dr. Kovalevsky about the new medication at my final appointment he began pushing IVF. He seems to have VERY little knowledge of the teratogenic effects of common psychiatric medications and VERY little knowledge of how to handle survivors of long term sexual abuse! I actually have an easier time talking about the time my ex-husband put a loaded gun to my head than the sexual abuse. Another thing that really disturbs me is that every time I complained about the way I was being treated, the staff seemed to get angry at me. They kept insisting that their practice is the best in the area. It almost seemed like religious worship to me. It got a little creepy at the end. I am now receiving rape counseling at RAINN for the resurgence of my PTSD. All in all, Dr. Kovalevsky is just an IVF salesman who doesn't seem to care about the wellbeing of special needs patients. My rape counselor at RAINN is actually trying to get my husband and I to consider adoption. read more

It's probably strange to write a yelp review about a doctor's office, but my experience with RAD has exceeded my expectations. My frustrations with my previous doctor had me at my wits end. We left our first appointment feeling hopeful and in good hands. I would definitely recommend! read more

RAD has changed my life, for the better. Not only does my wife and I now have a beautiful baby boy but we also have great new friends with the staff at RAD . Everyone who works there is amazing. I am forever grateful to RAD and will be seeing them very soon to "try" for another bundle of joy. read more
