I believe Radford provides yard services every Friday to my condo complex located in Upper Makakilo, and their work is terrible. All they do was basically cutting the grass, trimming bushes, and raking&blowing off afterward, but they don't clean up. Often times, they blow off the grass into back of the condo building without colleting them for clean up. They start working around 9 am and done by 2 or 230 pm; but half of those hours are their breaks. read more

For the amount of work, it was a very reasonable price. He was able to get the work done in one day and left our yard looking great! I contacted Radford after seeing the reviews and was very impressed at how promptly he returned my call. We discussed the normal lawn maintenance including weed treatment and also trimming and maintenance of some trees that had gotten out of control. The difficulty with the trees involved them being on a narrow terrace where an A-frame ladder won't fit. Additionally we discussed trimming and maintenance of some palm trees on my property. Radford arrived earlier than agreed upon and quickly completed everything we discussed. I'm very satisfied with the results and found Radford and his team to be very polite, efficient and great at communicating exactly what work will be done. I called Radford based on Yelp reviews. Radford came over to my house and I described what services I wanted and I was quoted a price. I thought the price was reasonable and hired Radford for bi-weekly service. I can say that not once did Radford do all of the services promised. On several occasions, I called and texted asking him to come back to complete the work promised but that never happened. If you just need your grass cut and yard raked you should be okay, but if you want an actual landscape maintenance company (plant trimming, weeding, etc.) I would think twice about Radford's. read more

Radford was able to quickly and brilliantly step in when our long-time landscape maintenance company suddenly (and sadly) went out of business. Radford graciously accommodated our busy family schedule to meet with us on a weekend for our initial property walk-through (and punctually showed up a bit early, to bat!) and was very observant and proactive in offering insightful suggestions and constructive advice to improve the appearance and upkeep of our lot. He listened well and asked good questions to ensure that he completely and fully understood what we needed to have done and what our expectations were of him. As he had promised at our first meeting, he pleasantly and conveniently contacted us the night prior to his first service date to confirm his scheduled appointment and provide us with a time window in which he was going to perform his work. He performed his work admirably well--exceptionally neat and very professional--and most importantly, completed exactly what we had agreed upon. Exceptional work and the price is right! They cleared our large back yard, which is on a slope, by cutting and discarding all debris. The work this team does is fast but very thorough. A plus is that they clean up after themselves, something that other yard services fail to do. read more

I had Radford and his crew come to my home a handful of times. Most of the crew lacked initiative, requiring me to pay close attention to them and direct them on what they should do. The one time Radford sent his crew on their own, they did a very poor job, claimed they were done after 20 minutes, and left. I talked to Radford about it on the phone and sent him a text of several pictures showing what hadn't been done such as weeding the front strip and trimming of dead leaves. On the next appointment, Radford came with his crew. While Radford was always nice, when I talked with the crew alone (while Radford was doing other work on the yard), I felt like they mocking me. My front hedge had been trimmed very badly, and they said, seemingly in a sardonic way, "Didn't we do a good job on the hedge?" It was very odd and uncomfortable. I talked with Radford about his crew and told him that their poor work and disposition may cost him business. Radford seems like a nice young man, but I'm not sure if he's experienced enough to train and manage the crew. Only one of the guys seemed like he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately, I simply can not recommend this yard service at this time. read more

OMG! What a mess. These guys don't come when they're supposed to. When the do show up, they make a MESS. When they promise to do something "next time," they disagree to do it when they come back. They put some of the trimmings sloppily into our 1 green barrel, then throw a messy, falling-down pile of cheap, super thin plastic bags of green trimmings in the general area of our front garage (we've had to re-stack the refuse each time, and the bags rip.) Each time these guys came they BROKE things in our yard-today, it was the wire fencing around my beloved dog's memorial. Last time they CUT DOWN my entire hibiscus bush and my succulents. We have a large corner lot, and these guys (2) we're here for less than 2 hours, did a CRAPPY job, left me hours of clean up...we paid $75 for this "regular" visit and over $200 for their first visit. :( Now I also have to replace the items that were damaged. DON'T HIRE THESE GUYS- YOU'LL REGRET IT. read more

Based on his high-rating on Yelp, I decided to call Radford to see if he could help me with my yard. I have a fairly large yard with thick, overgrown Zoysia grass. As promised, he showed up on time to give me a quote and his crew also showed up on the scheduled day to try to rehabilitate my lawn. When I got home that day, I was very pleasantly surprised with the job they did. It certainly exceeded my expectations and I will definitely have him come back regularly to keep my yard looking nice. My first call to this company and he answers! That's great service already. He said he was very busy but still took the time to answer my call and questions. Second, I asked him for a quote/estimate and sent him a couple photos of the area that needs cleaning and he replied within 15 minutes with an amazing quote. So amazed at the professionalism. He said he needs to bring 8 guys to the job, and needed an 8 hour day, possibly a second day. Great! Scheduled a day and took the day off. Had my son be home to wrangle my dogs. Radford shows up in a van. No truck, no one else. He said his "partner" said he bidded to low, and ADDED 60% TO THE PRICE, and he could come another day. REALLY??
