I even showed photos to make sure they don't mess up the length, and i trusted them considering how long my hair was. That was a HUGE mistake, because the women seemed to disregard the photo I was showing them and began cutting. She didn't even let me fix my hair part in the beginning and said it doesn't matter. The worst part was however, the lady accidentally cut her self and started to bleed from her finger during the haircut. She got some blood on my BARE hand and I saw it all over the scissors. This was completely NOT HYGIENIC. I had to tell the woman to stop as she didn't realize she was bleeding, and asked request them MULTIPLE times for hand sanitizer and that they MUST WASH MY HAIR BEFORE MY LEAVE! THERE WAS SOMEONES BLOOD ON IT! They seemed entirely insulted and acted as if they didn't understand why. Another woman came next to finish the cut, completely ignored the photo I showed her, and reluctantly washed my hair. She then barely blow tried it (I left the salon with wet hair). They cut me up. I asked for wax and she waxed then threaded. Threading is always painful and I was hoping to avoid that, but she just started going. After the service, I did feel some stinging but thought that to be normal. Stinging after a wax isn't out of the ordinary. A day later I noticed the scars on my skin. I got the service on Sunday and I'm writing this on Tuesday. Some of the scarring has gone away but I shouldn't have been cut up in the first place. I'm never returning.

I sporadically get my brows threaded because I think it's inhumane (FYI I also think plucking is a little cruel too) but lasts a really long time. They are simply furnished like most threading places. I have been growing out my brows. So I told her that I wanted a nice arch and she went to work trimming, threading and shaping my brows. When she was done my brow area was on fire but looked really good. I will definitely be back in the name of vanity and convenience but not pleasure lol.
