I have been coming to Kiran for almost 6 years! I don't let any one else touch my eyebrows. She understands the importance of brows to a female and tries her best to always give you that perfect shape. I've always gotten the best compliments on my eyebrows. She's never done it too skinny or cut me in any way. She takes her time with everyone which I love. She also offers body waxing and facials but I've never done any of that. I recommend the threading because it lasts longer and helps you keep your shape. Her prices are fair, $5 for eyebrows. I think she takes cards but I've never tried. Radha threads eyebrows beautifully!! She always cleans them up nicely and provides a great shape. I like an arch and thick eyebrows. She speaks with you about what you'd like. I've been coming for the past 7 years and she never disappoints. It's walk-in only and cash just to note. They are open often, however. It is also right by the F train and there is street parking, which is convenient. Regarding COVID, there is plenty of PPE and the staff are staying safe. The clients and employees all wears masks and more precautions are taken (sanitation, clear dividers, etc.). I have managed to keep my brows the same thickness and shape for years by very carefully explaining exactly what I want. One woman managed to ruin that in five minutes. I asked for Kiran but I got somebody else, and I requested a simple clean-up: same shape, keep them thick. I even showed her a picture. She completely destroyed my arch and made them thinner. When I politely pointed it out, she insisted it was fine and that she gave me what I wanted. I have to go grow them out for weeks, possibly months now. Unacceptable. read more

I went there after reading other people's reviews. I went to do hair cut, color and highlight. In the beginning I was told the cost will be $125 without the blow dry. I clearly stated I did not want to do blow dry, sure it'll look nice but I didn't want that service. The person who did my hair her name is Amber. I would say she's nice.. She gave me tips on cleaning scalp but I think she needs to be little more connected with the customers. Anyways, when it was time for payment there was a misunderstanding. The owner Radha asked Amber what was the service and Amber told her that it was done with blow dry. Then Radha told me it'll be$145. I says I didn't want blow dry and you told me it'll be$125. Then Radha said ok, I'll charge $15 for blow dry. This made me really mad and I told Radha, "this is what happens at desi salons.. I tell them one thing and they do something." Then Radha gave me an attitude and charged me $125. I would say to other people that please make sure you clearly explain what you want and you should stand up for yourself. read more

Both my my best friends have been coming here our whole life but I never came here I've had the same brow lady for 7 years. I decided to try this place out because I am in desperate need and my brow lady is not in new York. Firstly, the location is great very easy to commute to I came off the train from work and walked right in. If I drove, parking may have been hard to find. I waited about 20 minutes because I was recommended to only go to Kiran. I will say I am not disappointed, my eyebrows look just as great as when my lady does them. This place charges $5 for eyebrows and most others charge $3 including my place. However, it's a fair price. Thus salon offers many other amenities such as waxing, hair cuts, massage and henna tattoos. In addition there is also an Indian wear section with some cute options for a very decent price. I'm not sure that I would switch to this salon as of yet but it's definitely my back up. I have no complaints. read more

I used to come here all the time and loved getting my eyebrows done here, but yesterday I went and a new lady did my eyebrows I did not get her name. I insisted on leaving them thick and ofcourse she did them too thin, secondly I asked for a wax on my upper lips and she completely burnt me. I thought the burning sensation would fade the day after the wax but it didnt and now I have burn marks all over my mouth. read more

My eyebrows look great everytime Kiran does them. It's very inexpensive and everyone is very kind. Kiran takes her time no matter how busy it is and always listens to how I prefer the shape of my eyebrows. I had threading and facial done. I was completely wowed. The threading was expertly done. I was so happy with the results and let me tell you I am picky with my brows.  As for the facial, It was really relaxing and beyond my expectations. The facility is super clean very comfortable and nice looking. My server was Ragni. she's excellent! She did a great job.I will definitely recommend to my friends. read more
